This newly built cabin boasts soaring ceilings and a gourmet kitchen with plenty of seating. Perfect for any celebration. Located in Lakemont Pines, with all the Lake and Recreation Amenities. Linens are included at no extra cost.
The great room open to the gourmet kitchen and dining area boasts a wood burning stove and there is a convenient 1/2 bath just off the great room. The master bedroom is downstairs with a queen size bed and boasts a soaking tub for two. Upstairs you will find the children's room with a set of bunk beds and a trundle. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, and the second full bath is accessible from both the 2nd bedroom and the loft. In the Loft is a full size futon, aside from sleeping it provides a quiet escape where one can sit and read. Maximum sleeping occupancy is 8.

Great stay. House had a great layout and beds were super comfortable. AC was phenomenal - gone are the days you want to rent in Arnold in the summer without it and few places have it.

This is the second time we have stayed at the property over the winter holidays. It is big and roomy with plenty of space for two families with young children. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking holiday meals. Location is convenient my dog enjoyed walking around the lake in the morning. It is about 35 mins to bear valley. Easy drive from the Bay Area.

We loved our stay. The house was so clean. It’s a great location, 10 min walk to the Lake. My teen boys enjoyed playing corn hole. The BBQ was clean and convenient. Great place for entertaining. Owner was super nice and responsive to my questions. Highly recommend this location.

Great vacation home for our family!
The home was clean, and it had everything we needed. When we thought we forgot something, we found it in the house! This is the first time we took our dog and the fence around the patio made us feel comfortable knowing he could not escape. We love Lakemont Pines for the quiet community and private lake. The host was great and quick to respond when we had questions.

The property is beautiful and stocked with essentials to make you feel at home. It was very clean and comfortable. The owner was responsive, friendly, and very understanding when I told him I had to replace his coffee maker because we accidentally dropped his coffee pot. I highly recommend staying at this cabin. We will definitely be back!

Can definitely see ourselves coming back to this property. House was roomy, clean and fairly all new. We were actually pleasantly surprised as we felt the pictures didn't do the place justice. It's about a rocks throw away from the lake and roughly 35 mins from Bear. Appreciated the quick responses from the owner and being able to park in the garage when it was dumping snow.

Stay was just as great as our last visit
This is a great rental. We stayed at the same place years ago, and it continues to be one of our favorites. The house is light, pretty, and well cared for, the location is convenient, kitchen is well stocked, and Mark is always super helpful. Highly recommend it!

Gorgeous new home in Arnold
Hummingbird is a beautiful property that's perfectly designed and appointed. From the generously sized and outfitted kitchen to the well sized dining room and living room, this is a perfect place for two families+ to enjoy together. Downstairs master is particularly nice with its little private balcony and huge bathroom. Overall, this is a great house where the owners clearly care a lot about what's inside the home - a bit of a rarity in our experiences in Arnold. You can't go wrong here.

Great family vacation
Mark’s place is wonderful! We had a great time staying here for our family trip! The location is amazing, the cabin is spacious, super clean and cozy! The Lake and lakemont area is beautiful. Mark was extremely responsive and very flexible with check in/out times. We look forward to returning again!

A piece of paradise.
My family and I stayed at the Walker cabin & It absolutely exceeded all of our expectations.
As a former resident of Arnold I am well versed with Cabin life & this one in particular is a gem! My wife and I have been renting summer cabins at Lake mont for the last 16 years. My Father built the original pier were I proposed to my wife & a year later we were married on the lake side. We had a fantastic Anniversary & family vacation.

Great cabin!
Super clean, well stocked, amazing cabin close to Lakemont Pines! We had a great time at the lake, and the cabin was amazing. My parents enjoyed the room downstairs, my daughter (6) LOVED the bunkbeds upstairs! This cabin has everything you need for a great vacation. A bonus is the garage is empty so you can actually park in it! Most VRBOs this isn’t an option. A huge plus! Book it now! You will love it!

Perfect Getaway
We had a wonderful time at the Walker Family Cabin. There was plenty of room for our family of four, my parents, and our two dogs. The cabin was very clean and stocked with linens, towels, and everything you need in the kitchen. We loved the kitchen and kitchen table. The beds were all comfortable and the AC worked great! The fenced in porch was perfect for playing games and enjoying nature. The garage easily fit two cars with room to spare. The lake was a quick drive from the cabin. It was clean, warm, and had plenty of shaded areas. There was a grocery store a few minutes away that had everything you needed. Wonderful stay! Will definitely stay here again!

Upscale hiker's retreat
If you enjoy hiking as much as I, this is your destination. The house is just a few miles from the Arnold Rim Trail and White Pines Lake. The house is new, nicely furnished, and has a the space if you need. Great wood floors, clean and well designed kitchen. A perfect place to recharge!

Easter Break Visit
We loved this house! Clean, clean, clean and comfortable. The great-room layout is perfect: very spacious allowing for everyone t be together but not on top of each other. The huge windows brought in the sunshine. The deck, the garage, the mud room, alll terrific, but the location is even better! Out the door we ran to Arnold Rim Trail and covered miles from there. The lake is just over a mile away, and groceries are close too. Mark was a gracious, flexible host! We’ll be back!

Awesome Family friendly home
Loved our stay, our first trip to Arnold! Great community, easy access roads. Close to town, food, local shops, sno parks. Community lake was pretty, and the play ground was a good place for kids to run it out. Home was very clean and well stocked (no spices / oil, but it is covid...). Plenty of toys, games, movies (for kids and adults). Fireplace kept place the place toasty without even needing additional heat. Loved the mud room! I would definitely book here again and recommend it to friends!

This home was absolutely perfect and we loved everything about it. The location and neighborhood is fantastic, the kitchen and great room made for a great family getaway. The bedrooms were comfortable and they had everything we might need for our stay. We will be back for sure!

great bright clean cabin
We enjoyed our stay at this house: lots of space and everything is functional. We were able to stream Netflix without any issues. The beds were comfortable. Central heating was a plus. My 6yo kid had a blast in a big clean bathtub and loved the bunkbeds. The location is easy to find and close to everything. There is a great grocery store nearby. The check in/check out was seamless. The owner responds promptly. Thank you for letting us stay. We would book again.

Arnold Fall Family Trip
The Walker's home is very nice, roomy and cozy. We were very comfortable in this home - even during the snow storm which lowered the temperature a bit - the heater works beautifully. The kitchen is stocked nicely, the owners provide a generous amount of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, and even provide soap and shampoo in all the bathroooms. My family was very impressed with the home. I would highly recommend it.

Mike the owner is an excellent communicator. I asked many questions before and during our stay and he responded within minutes. His demeanor was very pleasant even when I was asking many questions that may have been obvious.

We love this place!
This was our fourth or fifth summertime stay we have spent at this place. We bring our daughter, her husband and their three daughters, ages 3, 5 and 8 with us. This house was recently built and it was designed to be perfect for VRBO rentals. Two bedrooms for adults and one for the kids. Plus an eighth bed in the play area. It is air conditioned which is very important in the summer. What I appreciate is the huge two car garage. With both cars in, there is about five extra feet of clear space to the walls on every side. Makes unpacking and reloading for each days excursion easy. The ladies like the large, well equipped kitchen and the two sets of service for twelve dishes.
Aside from swimming at the homeowners associations private beach EVERY DAY, we visit Calaveras Big Trees State Park, hike on the Arnold Rim Trail, tour caverns, fish in various lakes and eat ice cream cones at Giant Burger.
We will be back again.

2020 birthday getaway
This property was awesome, very family friendly, everything we wanted was provided and available to us. Only about a minutes drive to the lake, which was a lot of fun, property came with all kinds of water toys. Definitely recommend the Walker cabin and will be staying there again next year!

Great House in a Great Place
The house was wonderful. Very clean, well organized, had everything you needed. You can definitely tell it’s well loved and taken care of by the owners. Arnold is a great area with lots to do. Even though this year some of that was not available, it’s a great place for rest and relaxation.

Our new spot!
Our family went to this property in May of 2020. We chose the location for the mountains and the lake. The LAKE (although most things were closed due to COVID-19) was the most fantastic discovery! We caught and released fish, went out on our paddle board, went out on our kayak, and all this for a short walk or a quick 2 minute drive. It's private and fabulous!
HOUSE: They had a highchair for the toddler, a garage to park your car in, a closed in patio, and they allowed our small dog to come as well! The beds were comfortable and everything was updated and very clean. The master bedroom includes: blackout curtains, SPACE, and an epic tub!
Laundry was on site, which proved to be necessary with our toddler and the whole family absolutely loved the home. They all agreed they would go back. This home far, far, far exceeded our expectations!
We hope to be back again soon! This trip fueled our souls!
(Allergy prone families - beware the amount of pollen in the area during May. We were fine, but the deck outside was covered constantly with pollen. Hazard of the mountains!)

Roomy and well stocked
We stayed for Christmas in 2019. The house is roomy, comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. Location is perfect for exploring Calaveras Big Trees and Bear Valley. I would consider staying here again on our next trip to Arnold.

The place was clean and spacious and accommodated our family very well. It was warm and we really enjoyed the wood heating stove. The owner was kind enough to text me the morning of our arrival to warn us about the possibility of needing chains. The house was conveniently located.
