My spacious townhouse is in one of the best locations within the historic walls of the 475 year-old city of Cartagena De Indias. The private 3rd floor terrace offers a 180 degree panoramic ocean view and awesome sunsets. The condominium complex is next to the Iglesia Santo Domingo Church, the oldest church in Cartagena, one block from the Plaza Santo Domingo, and a short walk to the best tourist attractions, restaurants, and shopping in the Old City. Great for couples, business travelers, and families.
Located within a private condominium complex with 24-hour security, my warm and welcoming townhouse provides a private, quite and secure atmosphere. My home is great for women travelers who want a safe, comfortable, and relaxed place to stay.
My private 3-story authentic, colonial townhouse offers a fully-equipped kitchen with utensils and appliances, a washing machine, a spacious living room, a dining area, and a private balcony overlooking the old wall on the first floor. There are 3 bedrooms with in-room air conditioning (in each room) and comfy beds (the main bedroom has a kingsize bed), 1 ensuite and 1 separate full bathroom, and a TV sitting area on the second floor. There is an awesome 700 sq foot private outdoor terrace with a 180 degree panoramic ocean view (one of the best in the Old City), spectacular sunsets, and magical sights of the modern city of Boca Grande at night on the third floor. The terrace offers a private location to relax and sunbath during the day, to have a cocktail and watch the sun set over the Caribbean Ocean in the evening, and to enjoy the festive sounds and beautiful lights of the old city at night.

The condominium complex offers one of the most beautiful, private, secluded gardens in the old city. The garden sits behind the condominium and next to the old church.
My townhouse is in one of the prime locations within the historical walls of the old city. The condominium complex is next to the Iglesia Santo Domingo Church, the oldest church in Cartagena, and one block from the Plaza Santo Domingo. It is within short walking distance to numerous restaurants, historical sites, museums, shopping, souvenir shops, grocery stores, pharmacies, historical plazas, and many more attractions. There are also safe and affordable licensed taxis available in front of the condominium complex.
My townhouse is only 15 minutes from the international airport.
My goal is to provide a safe environment for all guests during their time in my home.
The guests will register initially with the condominium complex security at the front gate, who operate 24-7 and are always available at the gate. The guard will direct the guests to the entrance of my townhouse. Guest can choose between self-check-in (with a lockbox) or greeted by my housekeeper Milena, who can give a full tour of the property.
Once inside, my guests will be able to enjoy the entire house, including the private rooftop terrace.
Guests need to confirm that they have read and agree with all the house rules in writing to the host before their reservation will be accepted.
Before arrival guest will need to send the names and passport numbers along with a clear picture from the passport of the people who will be staying in the townhouse at least 48 hours before arrival. This requirement is a must because the security guards will not allow anybody not on the original guest list into the condominium complex for the protection of all guests and residents.
The Condominium does not all allow any visitors in the complex or my townhouse at any time.
Noisy parties are not allowed. This is a quiet and respectful residential condominium. My townhouse is not suitable for groups of bachelors.
No overnight guests will be allowed under any circumstances.

Amazing location and roof top deck for sunrise and sunsets on the old wall. Walking distance to Puerta 3 in the marina, where all the boat trips leave.
Well decorated with clean well maintained essentials and good water pressure. The AC in the rooms and fans were life savers.
The spiral stair case was a cool feature but not for those with health limits.
Sandra, the host was very responsive and professional. Milena, the caretaker, was there to greet us and show us around and check us out. Be ready for heat, humidity and beautiful islands, water and colonial tours. It feels like mardi gras every night in old town. So many good cafecitos, restraunts, bars, dance clubs, shops and street performers.

The townhouse has a fantastic location in a relatively quiet area by the city walls. The view of the ocean from the beautiful rooftop is magical as are the gardens within the complex. The townhouse is bright and airy with air conditioning in the bedrooms. In general well appointed although a little tired, particularly the kitchen that could use a renovation in appliances and utensils. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and walked everywhere within the Centro HIstórico. Note: You have to bring your luggage up one flight of stairs to reach the apartment and one within the apartment. A fee is charged to leave luggage in the morning before checkin.

The place is great! The location cannot be beat. It was the perfect location. Great restaurants and all the old city a few steps away, without any of the noise. Taxis are easy to get. There´s a small supermarket around the block. The townhouse is nicely decorated. There is security at the entrance. The AC is a must in the bedrooms and it worked perfectly and quietly. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything was great.
The only thing to be aware of is that the stairs inside the unit are not for anyone. For anyone with any mobility issues, this is not the place for you.
Everything was clean. The communication with the property owner and the cleaning lady was extremely fast and friendly.
Other than that, the place is absolutely wonderful. I most definitely plan to stay there if I get the chance to go back to Cartagena.

We just spent several days on Sandra’s property and left vowing to return. Sandra is a wonderful host and very responsive. Have suggestions for restaurants and shops.
In December there are several festivals and parades. We watched it all from the balcony. Fireworks went off each night; we experienced those from the terrace on the roof…such a serene spot in the mornings and evenings.
Milena was an absolute pleasure to have and work with. She showed us around the town to where the Ara Market was to get our water and other snacks, pharmacy for the sunblock or bug spray and where the atm is located.
She came everyday during our stay and took care of the property. We paid a little extra for her to teach us to cook some of the staples of Colombian cuisine.
She was very respectful, humble and super sweet.
We miss her already😉

Our family of 4 had plenty of space to recover the Cartagena heat. Each bedroom is nicely air conditioned and when the nights cool down, the balcony and rooftop space are nice to observe the busy city.
The location is fantastic. It’s easy to walk to anywhere, even a 30 minute walk to the beach. The property manager was so responsive and answering any question I had, even on recommendations to eat.

The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere in the old city. It is directly across from the old city wall and a outdoor lounge by the ocean. It has 3 levels and these townhouses are built above stores. So the living room and bedroom are on the second level, bedrooms on the third, and the terrace on the fourth. The terrace was the best part. I spent every morning and evening on the terrace. It was too hot and sunny for me to use during the day but was out exploring anyway. The views from the terrace are amazing and include the ocean. The birds were amazing to see from the terrace and a parrot landed close by and watched me for about 15 mins. Even with the lounge and stores it was quiet at night as the air conditioners in the bedroom are not loud but drown out the noice, it also helps that it is above street level. I can’t speak about the kitchen as I never cooked here., I also never turned on the TV. So many amazing restaurants within walking distance but their is a store close by to purchase food and water bottles. Townhouse had enough towels and toilet paper. Maid was very nice, doesn’t speak English but uses Google translate on her phone for you. Doormen are always at the gate to let you in. They are friendly and will get you a taxi if you want it. I only took Ubers to/from the airport. We walked everywhere from this location including the fort, everywhere in old town, and to the boats for a island tour.

This was our first trip to Colombia and it won’t be our last. Sandra was beyond wonderful as well as Milena and the security at the property. The property is gorgeous! The terrace overlooks the ocean and has gorgeous sunsets. The house is very spacious and comfortable. It was always cool with the a/c units also. We loved the location too. We were steps from the liquor store right outside the gate and a few more steps to the mini market and the square which has a beautiful cafe as well as restaurants. Thank you so much Sandra. We truly did not want to leave. We will come back hopefully soon.

Once we got past the language barrier at checkin, we found the unit to be spacious and the rooftop patio comfortable. Several areas were dated - e.g. the kitchen and the ensuite bath of the master bedroom. The rooftop patio was a bit more dated than the pictures, but it was definitely our favourite spot for morning coffee watching different birds including parrots. All in all, a restful spot that we felt sad to leave after our short stay.

We had a great time staying here. Sandra had great communication leading up to the trip and Milena was very helpful when we got there. The apartment was perfect for our weekend trip and the rooftop was so beautiful.

I rented this place for my trip to Cartagena! It’s right in the walls and close to all the shopping and water. A 20min walk to old town where there locals hang out. There are 3 floors, and we slept 6 comfortably. There’s no bathrooms or bedrooms on the main floor so be prepared to walk up tight spirally stairs. Overall it’s a perfect place to stay with your family or friends.

We had an amazing time staying at this property during our stay. It was close to the action, but far enough away to be able to relax. It was safe, secure, and very relaxing. The staff was very prompt and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for experiencing within the old city. Beautiful place, terrazza has excellent views. Communication and check in were great. We were not expecting to have to pay for parking at the complex, but we and our property were safe, and everything convenient.

This property is in the best location. It’s right across from Cafe Del Mar. A well known bar right on the wall overlooking the water. Cabs are easy, walking is easy. The property is lovely. The bedrooms are air conditioned. The rest of the house is not. There is a breeze on the firs floor and fans everywhere, but it can be hot. If stairs concern you this is the biggest challenge. A circular staircase, that is beautiful looking is essential to get to the bathrooms and bedrooms. If stairs are any problem there are lots of stairs in this house. There is a beautiful third floor roof top that’s great in the evenings. Sandra the property owner is one of the most responsive people you will ever meet. She gives great advice and fixes problems quickly. We were there for almost three weeks. It was perfect for our needs. Sandra also has a wonderful maid who is there each day to clean up —to do laundry etc. Milena is fabulous—only speaks spanish however, but google translate helps. Good TV and really good WiFi for Cartagena in an old historic building which this is. You’ll enjoy yourself.

My family loved staying here and the location is super convenient to explore the walled city. The townhouse is large and spacious and the rooftop terrace is a great place to relax at the end of the day. We also enjoyed walking directly across the street at night to walk the wall at sunset. There are three floors (we traveled here with 4 people and would have been comfortable with 2 more) We felt like the rooms were larger than appeared in the photos :) The air conditioners work great and drown out the street noise at night and the fans provided good air flow during the day. The kitchen has everything you might need and the beds are very comfortable. Milena (house staff) was super accommodating and helpful. We asked her to cook for us one morning and it was excellent. She made sure we had plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, clean floors etc.
Also, the security is great here. They have cameras surrounding the property and guards at the entrance that are also very helpful.
I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants a convenient and comfortable location to explore the walled city.

The photos and description are very accurate. GREAT location close to everything within the old-walled city which is the most interesting part of Cartagena. We loved the spacious open terrace with the ocean view and watching the wild parrots in the trees across the road. The condo is very secure, although we encountered no issues outside the condo complex either (other than the street vendors pestering you to buy their wares). Taxis are everywhere and cheap. A grocery is less than a half mile walk. Good restaurants within easy walking distance had great food and were inexpensive (be sure to try the coconut rice - delicious!). We liked the daily maid service by a sweet and very helpful lady.
Cartagena was very hot during our stay in early September. The A/C units in the bedrooms worked fine and the fans helped in the common areas.
As noted in the description - the property is not handicap accessible. Also, note the photos showing the tight spiral staircase leading to the bedrooms and the upper terrace. Our party of four adults had no issues, but that could be a concern for others. We enjoyed our 5-night stay here very much!

This apartment has three great rooms, one with private bath. It was perfect for our family. While in Cartagena we could easily visit the sights and enjoy the many great restaurants literally around the corner. The owner also arranged for a private boat tour to the Rosario Islands which was so much better than paying the individual tour price x 6; we were able to come and go from the islands as we wished. Thanks for a wonderful visit to a great city.

This home is in the perfect location of Cartagena located within the walled city. It is right on the ocean directly across the street from the hot spot for getting drinks with a view. Everything is walking distance or a 7,000 peso (about $2-3 US dollar cab ride). Sandra's place is located within a secured and gated community. There were four girls staying total and there was plenty of room for us in the three bedrooms. The first floor has the kitchen and living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the second floor up a spiraled staircase, and the rooftop terrace is on the third floor. There are air conditioning units within the bedrooms, but not throughout the rest of the house. Cartagena is a hot city, so we did not get much use out of the living room area. In addition, you cannot take warm showers (the power in the entire apartment went out when we did this), however the city is so hot, you likely will not ever have the desire to take a warm shower. Milena, the house keeper, comes every day to every other day to keep the place clean. We paid her to cook a traditional Colombian meal for us one night and it was spectacular! Another bonus is Sandra's connections with a boat captain to take you to the islands. We took a private boat (instead of going on a group trip with travel companies) to the islands off the coast of Cartagena. The captain took us to the more private and smaller islands, which were so much more beautiful and serene than Playa Blanca (the large party and touristy island the companies will take you to). I highly recommend doing this during your stay in Cartagena. Overall, I definitely recommend this townhome and a trip to Cartagena - its beauty will amaze you.
