Parenthèse idyllique dans ce logement de rêve ! Mon compagnon et moi voulions nous faire plaisir en réservant cette chambre mais étant habitués à dormir presque uniquement chez l’habitant dans des chambres modestes nous craignons de ne pas retrouver la chaleur humaine à laquelle nous sommes habitués. Non seulement nous avons eu droit à une chambre digne des plus beaux hôtels de luxe avec en prime un accueil et une bienveillance rare ! Nos deux hôtes ont été d’une gentillesse incroyable, a faire leur possible pour que nous nous sentions ici comme chez nous. Shahi nous a beaucoup aidé à programmer la suite de notre voyage et nous a donné tout ces conseils (tout en nous offrant du the, café, chocolat, gâteaux tout au long de notre séjour). La chambre est splendide comme le reste du logement, décoré avec énormément de goût. Ménage impeccable. La literie est de grande qualité. Un vrai havre de paix !

EVERYTHING! The house is well-maintained and has very sophisticated furnishings with spacious, clean and very nice rooms.

What a place! We decided to stay at Niketh Villa for two nights after reading the good reviews. When we arrived, our expectations were met and even exceeded! The villa is set back from the Main Street and surrounded by lush nature and edible trees: coconut trees, papaya, mangoes, avocado trees, even cocoa trees! The garden surrounding the villa is inviting and balanced, with an excellent swimming pool and a couple of tranquil water features. We found the villa and architecture superb, all the details were excellent, designed with great taste to achieve a luxurious stay that makes you feel like you’re home. The villa cleanliness was top, and the rooms excellent. Sheema, the hostess, really adds value to the place. She made us all feel like we were part of her family and treated us like her children. She is truly gifted in the kitchen and we found us regretting not staying for dinner the two nights in the end! Overall, a truly gem close to Kandy, away from the city’s noise. We would highly recommend anyone to stay here!

We stayed at Niketh Villa for two nights during our trip to Kandy. The marvelous and radiant hospitality of Sheema in addition to the perfection of the house has made our experience in Kandy just perfect! The Villa has a modern aesthetic and impeccable touch. The attention to detail together with its cleanliness is surprisingly meticulous. The Villa overlooks a fascinating garden with swimming pool— deeply immersed in the nature—you can take sometime to reload in pure tranquility. Niketh Villa is a luxurious home-stay. Our first night was made very special thanks to Sheema and her ad hoc menu prepared for us—the best Sri Lankan food we ever had. Spending the night chatting with Sheema we had the pleasure to meet a wonderful couple which was also staying there during our days. Niketh Villa is the perfect home away from home, where you can meet lovely new people and at the same time have a great time with Sheema, an exquisite and beautiful woman who will always put a smile on your face!

Beautiful family house just outside Kandy, with a beautiful garden and a small private garden off the very nice room. The family were very helpful and kind and the home cooked food was excellent.

The owners are incredibly nice and helpful! The rooms are very large and nicely furnished. The bathroom is also very large and clean - Generally, the accommodation is very well kept. We felt very very comfortable and would definitely recommend it!

Niketh Villa well exceeded our expectations. We were a bit hesitant initially with limited reviews available as they had only recently restarted, but it was beyond exceptional and we are quite fussy! The house and accommodation itself is really beautiful - very luxurious and modern, beautiful architecture. We stayed in the deluxe king room with bathtub - it was very spacious, very nice furniture, very comfortable bed, nice linen, aircon worked well, very nice bathroom. The place was spotlessly clean and had very nice little touches everywhere. The interior design in the place done by Shahi is outstanding and all the artwork was so beautiful, a bit like a gallery. There are plenty of nice seating areas and lounge areas to sit, really nice gardens and a pool. It is rare to be able to stay in a homestay type of accommodation with this quality and luxury feel. The hospitality shown by Sheema, Shahi, Nigel and Niketh was exceptional - they were so friendly and helpful and made one feel very comfortable. The food cooked by Sheema was absolutely brilliant. Initially we only ordered dinner for the first night but after eating one meal we ordered the next night's dinner at the villa as well as it was so good and Sheema was great company. Sheema spent hours labouring over the cooking and it was clear she is very proud of her cooking and it definitely showed on the plate - the love and care she puts into her food - you can't get food that good at any restaurant, and I'm sure we won't get food that good elsewhere in Sri Lanka, which is probably why she won't give away any of the ingredients in her food! There was also a lot of variety in the dishes and she made different dishes the following night. The breakfast was also really beautifully done and all in a very nice setting with wonderful company.

I cannot fault this place - it is so much better than the big hotels that people go to - this place has much better food, cleanliness, decor, little touches everywhere of nice things, hospitality and comfort. Their attention to detail in every aspect makes it stand out from standard hotels in Sri Lanka that lack that attention to detail. We highly recommend staying here and will recommend it to others.
