What breakfast ?
That the restaurant next door was closed when it was meant to be open, so taxi was very expensive up and back to the Tavern in Agnes. We booked here in the thinking we could eat next door.

The location was incredible, right opposite the water. The cabin is really well set up with everything you need. It's right next to 1770 Beach Hotel, but it closes fairly early so isn't noisy at night.

Location, location, location. View and position in 1770.
BBQ and deck overlooking the ocean. Kitchen not big but it was well planned.
.Puncture on the way into Agnes Water but the RACQ guy was helpful and the tyre repair place did a good job. Thanks guys.
Bathroom a tad small, but it worked well enough for the 2 of us.
Beware the roads are a mess and many folk had punctures, broken rims.
Lots of rain!!! Most unseasonal?

Location is great. Beautiful views down the passage and a lovely park across the street and excellent walks along the foreshore. Close to the Beach Hotel and Marina. Really enjoyed our ride in the 1770 LARC and we were fortunate to be in location during the 1770 Festival, which I would highly recommend.

Everything was fantastic. The room was super clean and big!! And being right next to the Tree House, and directly across the road from the water.. everything was perfect!
Nothing.. everything was perfect!

Loved the location. Great views. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
There is no door to the bedroom, which makes it difficult if one party wants to watch TV and the other wants an early night! Tv shines directly into the bedroom. Also, the photographs are a bit deceptive. We have stayed in cabin 2 before and assumed from the photos that cabin 1 was the same. This is not the case. The bathroom in cabin 1 is old and poky.

The cabin was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we wanted.
The views are AMAZING and we would love to stay again.
Our only comment was the bed was far too soft. We think it's time for a new mattress please.

Location, spacious
The bed was a little too soft…I’d rather not use the word “saggy”

The location is exceptional.
The hotel next door a bonus.
Great sunsets.
The property is advertised as a one bedroom unit.
As there is no door on the bedroom I would suggest it is a studio apartment. When I called to enquire why they said it was maintenance.I suggested we move to the apartment next door, they said guests were arriving there, no one arrived.
I suspect the door was removed in both apartments as there is only one split air conditioning unit in the living area.
I would never book a studio apartment and I’m very particular about checking my bookings.

We liked the location, it truly did give us a sunset view over the beautiful bay. It was well appointed, beautiful front deck with comfortable table and chairs, overall very comfortable, and it was great that a washer and drier were provided for our use, as well as the usual amenities you expect.
We didn't like the communications for accessing the place. There were differing phone numbers to call, with only voice messages directing us to call other phone numbers, rang all, great frustration before someone finally called us back. There was no office to go to. It was cryptic and therefore unacceptable. Finally an email came explaining the situation but this didn't come until after check in time.
The price was excessive, but for the view, I guess you pay for what you want, we accepted the price on booking. There was no other place like it in the area.

I liked the view from the balcony and the fact that the beach was a short walk in front of the unit. I liked the large flat screen TV. I liked the spacious living area and large shower.
The Booking.com app said to collect the keys from Reception at 374 Captain Cook Drive which is Captain Cook Holiday Village. The guy on reception said the keys are in a lockbox at the property and I should have received an email with the code to open it. I had not received an email (I received it very late that afternoon). He gave me the code and I went back and let myself in. On booking.com the interior photos of Sunset Bungalows look very light and bright but I was in Cabin 2 and it was furnished with dark colours and rather gloomy. Cabin 2 backs onto 1770 Beach Hotel. The music was not too loud but the men laughing loudly and dropping the f-bomb with regular monotony during their Friday night drinks was not what I expected. Cabin 1, nearer the front entrance, is probably a better option.

Location was amazing, fully self-contained.
The towels didn’t smell clean to me, they smelt like body odour. Furniture and decor looked outdated.
