WELCOME ABOARD – Villa Kendara prides itself on treating our guests to a Five Star experience. You will find hundreds of reviews online highlighting our spectacular setting, abundance of amenities, immaculate housekeeping and premier hosting. There are no crowds at VK, just privacy and the beauty of nature. For guests wanting to unwind and escape, VK is a haven. Follow our suggestions on what to bring, go grocery shopping once or twice and retreat to pool, sea and tropical living. For guests wanting to mingle and explore, VK is a perfect base, convenient to everything Provo has to offer during the day, yet peaceful and serene at night.
THE LOCALE – Nestled on a quiet cul de sac overlooking the Caribbean and Long Bay with the best panoramic view on Provo, VK is only 2 minutes off the main road and 5 minutes to the Grace Bay tourist hub with the finest supermarket, topnotch restaurants and fun activities. Our ideal location at the upper end of Long Bay is just around the corner from the upper beaches of Grace Bay and Blue Haven and Walkin Marinas. At VK, you may swim out front, snorkel the coves and mangroves, relax at the pool by day, watch stunning sunrises in the morning and sunsets in the evening. The pool is steps away from the guesthouse, and the water’s edge is a minute from the pool down a short natural path to our sandbox oasis where you can sit or lounge and enter the sea. The more adventurous may fish the shallows, rent kite boards, kayaks or paddle boards, eat at the Tiki Bar Floating Restaurant, 1 mile out, or visit La Familia de Panama Shipwreck, 3 miles out.
THE ACCOMODATION - Viva la Providenciales from our second story, 1 BR, environmentally friendly guesthouse adjacent to Long Bay Beach. Designed by the owners as a home away from home rental, VK takes full advantage of the location (every room has a great view) and offers island living in affordable luxury for up to 3 adults or a couple with children. As you enter our enclosed property through the automatic gate, the beauty of the natural landscape will catch your eye. Park in front of the Welcome Sign and take a moment to observe the Courtyard with patio for BBQ and Deck Box filled with snorkeling gear and beach accessories, the coral stone walkway that wraps around the property and brings you to the deck and 20’ x 4-1/2’ pool overlooking the sea, ample outdoor seating and pergola for shade. Now it’s time to take the private, tropical lined walkway to the guesthouse. Before entering, pause to observe the view from the outdoor seating and dining area on the balcony. Inside you’ll be greeted by an open plan living space, lots of natural sunlight, porcelain flooring, cathedral ceiling and island décor throughout.

AC & FANS throughout, Games to Play, and best of all, the Exclusive "Johnson Guide to Provo" and “Study Guide to North and Middle Caicos with their companion "Travel Guides" for the car, everything you need to know about VK, Provo and the outer cays is at your fingertips!
ENVIRONMENT FIRST – TCI’s motto is “Beautiful By Nature.” Our air is pure and our water pristine. At VK, our goal is to preserve “Nature” however possible. The entire property is landscaped by nature, supplemented with indigenous plants. We irrigate with rainwater and grey water; our drinking water is seawater distilled by osmosis, no chemicals added; our saltwater pool generates its own chlorine from the sun. In addition, there are fans in every room to keep AC to a minimum and make it more efficient when required. All fixtures have LED light bulbs. Furnishings are made of natural or recycled materials. Garbage is separated and recycled at the Environmental Management Station. Finally, we conserve water and energy as much as possible and ask our guests to do the same.
MYTH BEYOND - You want to visit Provo because it's consistently rated a top vacation destination with the best beach in the world. If you're thinking the only thing to do is sit on the beach and take in the sun, then you're in for a very big surprise. Of course, you may go to a different beach every day, each one more beautiful than the next; however, you may also choose from a wide variety of activities on land, sea and in the air.
ON THE SEA - Imagine paddle boarding through the mangroves; kite boarding on Long Bay where the conditions are near perfect year-round; kayaking in small inlets around tiny cays; diving off the coral reefs and walls; snorkeling right in front of our property. Fishermen take note that the shallows off Provo are teeming with bonefish, and deep sea, bottom and bone fishing are phenomenal. Those interested in renting small motor boats and sailboats can chart their own course. If water sports are not your cup of tea, sit back, relax and put yourself in the capable hands of a tour boat captain who will take you to secluded beaches and places of interest.
ON LAND - Not into water sports or touring by boat, land lovers may enjoy horseback riding, working out or playing tennis, golfing at the championship Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club or gaming at the Casablanca Casino. Not into any of the above, then walk on the beach, bike on the secondary roads, rent a motor scooter, or pamper yourself with spa treatments.
IN THE AIR - Maybe you'd rather see Provo from above; then parasailing is for you. It's from there that you really come to appreciate the color of the water and the patterns of the reefs.
ISLAND PARTNERS - We have five island partners. Each offers our guests a 10% discount or special pricing and is tops in their field. Enjoy diving and excursions to the outer islands (exploring West Caicos, bicycling on North Caicos and spelunking on Middle Caicos), snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, kiteboarding, and for total relaxation, spa treatments, massages and wellness packages by the pool.
DINING OUT - Provo is a treasure trove of Good Value to Upscale Restaurants. Choose from American, Caribbean, French, Fusion, Indian, Italian, Jamaican, Japanese, Mediterranean, Mexican, Tex-Mex and Thai cuisines. The dress is always casual. Reservations are required at some of the more popular restaurants. A few of them close during September to mid-October. Most have indoor/outdoor seating in inviting settings. Eat and watch the sunset overlooking Grace Bay; marvel at the color of the water and the tiny picturesque islands of Chalk Sound; mingle with the locals at out of the way hangouts, watch boats in Turtle Cove Marina; sit under the stars amidst a canopy of palm trees; admire the tropical foliage in uniquely landscaped gardens; pause for a bite at a beachfront café that is an extension of the beach itself. There is something for everyone, and the quality is first rate.
FOOD SPECIALITIES - Wherever you dine, be sure to sample the local seafood such as conch, grouper, langouste, snapper, and wahoo. Provo is best known for conch that lives in pink pearl shells and inhabits shallow areas. Try fritters, lightly breaded and fried to perfection; fingers or cracked with just the right amount of crunch; ceviche with its tangy flavor; chowder that varies from bisque to chunky; a burger savory with spices.
WHY RENT A VEHICLE - To explore the 37.5 square miles and appreciate what Provo has to offer, you must rent a car. Keep in mind that taxis and excursions that provide transportation are expensive, so a car pays for itself in no time. Also, you pick up the car at the airport and drop it off there, which is most convenient. An economy car is sufficient unless you plan on driving in the hinterlands.
THE BEST CHOICE - Provo is only 3-1/2 hours from New York and 1-1/2 hours from Miami. For privacy, security, best view, natural beauty, direct access to the water, abundance of amenities and supplies, convenience to stores, restaurants, marinas and activities, island partner discounts and the "Johnson Guide to Provo," Villa Kendara offers luxury at an affordable price with everything you need to make your vacation enjoyable. Welcome to island living and making unforgettable memories!

We just got home from a week in paradise. Carol was so easy to get in touch with and answered all of our questions. Check-in was smooth and the location was perfect. And let me tell you - nothing beats the view from the pool. We rented a car and explored a new beach each day and loved coming back to end our afternoon in the pool. Can’t wait to come back here!

Perfect for a relaxing, quiet visit. Exactly what I needed. Views were fantastic and loved the area.

Villa Kendara was the perfect peaceful private getaway with a gorgeous ocean view of Long Bay from the pool. The sunning deck by ocean was great with a convenient ladder to step into crystal clear, warm water and no more than chest deep for at least a half mile out. I know because I walked out to the floating tiki bar! Which was fun but drinks were pricey! Actually all food in TCI is pricey! Definitely bring food from home. The bay was perfect for floating and swimming. The villa was secluded enough from the resorts but only a half mile drive or jog to Grace Bay Area. The guest house was clean and a nice beach theme. Carol was a great host and it was so easy to communicate with her during my stay. I cannot wait to return!

Stay was in a 1br guesthouse over the garage of a high-perched villa overlooking the sea and Long Bay. Great fit for a couple and the guesthouse had everything we needed for a relaxing stay in sunny Provo!

Villa Kendara has everything and more. So much to do right from the shore or around the corner on Long Bay. The “Book” has all the info you need to shop, eat out or explore the island. Beautiful beaches for sunrises to sunsets! Or just enjoy the pool and the Caribbean blue views! TCI will not disappoint!!

This was our second time at Villa Kendara. The last time was 10 years ago! We loved it as much this time as we did the first time. The location is wonderful with beautiful views sitting by the pool and easy access to all the beaches. Carol's guides make the vacation and we used so many of her recommendations for restaurants and activities. Villa Kendara is a perfect size for a couple.

This was the most amazing stay. The owners have taken a lot of time to prepare guidebooks and recommendations on just about anything one could think of. We used many of these suggestions while planning out our days and were thoroughly impressed with everything. We cooked many of our meals at the guesthouse and it had everything one would need - even a salad spinner! The guesthouse comes equipped with anything you may need - beach chairs, snorkeling gear. It was a quiet oasis with a welcome breeze much of the time. The pool is right over the ocean with a view most would envy in Provo. It is not on a beach, but you are able to enter the ocean and snorkel or walk to the Tiki bar. There are two chairs right down near the ocean and we spent every single morning with coffee watching the sunrise there. You are also able to see the sunset at Villa Kendara - it is THAT good! The guesthouse and grounds are very clean and everything is well organized. We had no troubles at all and would highly recommend this as a most perfect place to stay. We loved every single second of our time on Provo and can honestly say that the owners and all they have done to be helpful certainly allowed us to make the most of our week! Thank you!

Spectacular ocean view from “private” pool. Guest house had everything we needed and more. Location is remote, felt safe and secure, but required driving to access beaches, restaurants and activities. Best part of our vacation was lounging on the pool deck.

Our stay was wonderful! Turks is just beautiful! Villa Kendara was very cozy and comfortable!

Views of Long Bay from the pool are top notch. The villa has everything you may need for your stay. Carol made sure we were well informed throughout the entire process.

This was a very nice guesthouse on a small cove on Providenciales. The amenities were good, and the owner was very detailed about everything. Be sure to read the detailed instructions so you can be aware of some of the amenities offered. The owner has some great books of activities and places to explore as well. Some of the places need updating, but you can trust the instructions and offerings. The view is better from the pool deck, but you can see the Atlantic from the upper deck just outside the door.
The shore by the guest house is iron shore (no sand) but you can access the water via a landing with chairs & a ladder. There are a number of beach access points close by the property, and the instructions on how to find them are in a book that the owner leaves out.

Most beautiful peaceful relaxing place with the most gorgeous scenery you can imagine

The view is just Amazing. The pool is exceptional. The beach has some sea weed for the first foot or so but after that … we’ve never seen water that clear. Warmer than our skin (End of July). Host was communicative and respectful. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a wonderful time! The villa was clean and well stocked. The view was spectacular and the location was perfect. We were able to snorkel right outside the villa. Thank you Carol for being a wonderful host. We felt very safe and were able to easily get in touch with someone with any questions we had.

My husband and I had the most relaxing week at Villa Kendara. This spot on the island had spectacular views. The ocean view from the pool we lounged in everyday was breathtaking. The color of the ocean was such a gorgeous turquoise blue. There was always a nice breeze blowing and it was much appreciated. The loft space was perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and Carol’s guide to Provo was everything. We fell in love with this location and we will definitely be back. Thank you Carol for letting us enjoy your little slice of paradise for a week.

The pool and the endless view of the turquoise water is worth every dime! It is also the perfect spot for watching the sunrise. It’s away from the resorts but only a 5-10 minute drive to Grace Bay. We loved coming back from our daily excursions to cool off in the pool. The guesthouse is small but perfect for a couple. The loft has two beds and was great for our teenage son. It could definitely accommodate another child/teenager. But, it’s probably good to keep in mind that there are no interior doors anywhere in the guest house. So there is no privacy and space is limited. This was not an issue for us, but it could be for some. It’s very clean, and Carol is responsive and very thorough in providing tips and helpful hints during your stay. It’s by far the best value on the island. And, it’s worth repeating, there was no better view on the island than the one at Villa Kendara!

We relied heavily on past reviews and like all others who stayed before us mentioned, Villa Kendara is perfect. First, Carol is so great to deal with. She’s always available to answer questions and offer advice. Check in with Joselyn was a breeze. VK is in a perfect location. There is a constant breeze so you never get too hot sitting by the pool. The view is the best on the island. Grace Bay is a short 5 minute drive so we’d start the day on the beaches of Grace Bay and then finish the afternoon in our own pool at VK. Restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc are all conveniently close by. Renting a car is a must. It makes life so much easier and is a great way to explore the island. Anything and everything you need to know is in Carol’s Guide to Provo. It was by far the best trip my wife and I have ever been on. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s very private but also very safe. Thanks so much Carol for sharing your little slice of heaven.

Our hosts provided us with everything we needed for a carefree week in paradise. We woke up to a gorgeous view every morning, had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, and were able to find spectacular beaches and wonderful restaurants thanks to the detailed guide to Providenciales that was available in the villa. We enjoyed the fact that the villa is not located near other properties, but still an easy drive to beaches, grocery stores, and dozens of dining options. The cost for the week is very reasonable compared to other properties on the island that don't have as much to offer as Villa Kendara. We were there for our 25th wedding anniversary, and truly made memories that will sustain us for another twenty-five!

The Villa Kendara was perfect for the two of us! The view is amazing and access to gorgeous blue water was available right on property. Property owner was prompt with inquiries and we would definitely return.

All we can say is the pictures online don’t do any justice. My wife and I had an amazing stay. The view, the pool, to the place. We were able to relax and enjoy yourselves. Perfect spot for a couples vacation, very intimate. We are already looking to book our next getaway. Thanks for your hospitality and the information prior to our arrival.

We had a great stay, the Villa is over the 2 car garage. You can see the ocean from the balcony. The pool is downstairs at the main house of which we had full access and the view from the pool was amazing. No one was in the main house so we had it all to ourself. There is no TV in the bedroom , AC in the living cooled the villa and was sufficient. The Villa had everything you needed and actually had more than any other VRBO that we have stayed at. Joselyn the person you will meet to check in and out is wonderful and very communicative. I would recommend this place.

We had a wonderful vacation and appreciated all of the information and suggestions!

Villa kendara was a great place to stay. It has everything you need. The only complaints is the loft and day bed for adult sleeping. The bed was very comfortable but my friends were not so lucky.
If you are a coffee lover, there is only a small 4 cup pot
Otherwise the property is amazing. Directions were confusing, but once there, no problems.
Our host Carol was amazing. She was very responsive and helpful
I will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

Carol and Tom have been amazing from the very start. We felt so welcomed before we even arrived, and by the end of the trip, it felt like we were leaving family. My boyfriend and I could not have asked for better hosts, along with the most breathtaking view to top it all off. Carol is so very detail-oriented and there isn’t one thing she hasn’t thought of! We had plenty of privacy and also very much enjoyed our conversations with Carol and Tom throughout the week. We appreciated everything so much and cannot wait to return back to Provo and Villa Kendara!

My wife and I stayed at Villa Kendara for 10 nights at the end of October. It seems this is off season (our first time in Provo…not our last) and we liked that it was less crowded. Carol and Tom were in the main house while we stayed in the guest house. They were very welcoming but kept their distance and gave us plenty of privacy (even when we booked massages on the pool deck). The guest house is very clean and orderly. Carol has everything labeled with clear instructions (starting even before we arrived). The location is at the end of Long Bay Beach and close to many things (a rental car is recommended). Even though there is no beach right in front of their house, there is water access for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, etc. They have a remote controlled gate so we always felt very safe and even left our door open during the day while we were exploring the island. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back.

If you want quiet and the peaceful sound of waves this Villa is perfectly located. The pool is gorgeous and the view incredible. The Johnsons are the most gracious and kind hosts you could wish for. The helpful guides and information that they are always updating in the binders they provide are incredibly helpful for finding your way. You will not regret a stay at Villa Kendara!

Conveniently located to excursions and restaurants while still being tucked away in a quiet and safe area with beautiful views. The private pool was amazing, as was snorkeling just beyond the property. The caretaker and owner were both friendly and responsive. We had no complaints and would absolutely stay here again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Kendra’s! This property was exactly as advertised and the photos true to what the view and accommodations were. The ocean view is incredible and the oceanfront pool an added bonus. It was easy to walk down the path and access the ocean. Apartment was clean and well-equipped. Owner was very responsive to questions and quickly provided solutions. Would highly recommend this property and would stay again!

Lots of detailed instructions to enjoy your stay. The pool was one of the best features of the stay overall.

Our little slice of paradise!
Carol is the Great Communicator! We were so much better prepared for our entire visit to Provo due to her instructions and "handouts." We giggled a little about the "Johnson Guide to Provo" being a selling point, but we ate our words when we realized how valuable the tips were! The house itself is great. It was just big enough for my husband and I during our two week honeymoon. But this is not a place meant to be inside, and let me tell you: that infinity pool and ocean access is priceless! And you can't pay for the privacy! We were on Grace Bay Beach and walked through Beaches Resort and we felt SORRY for the people staying there! Thank you for making our honeymoon even more unforgettable!

Views you have to see to believe!
Villa Kendara is the perfect couples getaway with surreal views and plenty of opportunity for outdoor activities. Our host, Carol, was extremely informative and helpful for check in, check out and everything in between. We found the villa clean, well stocked and vacation ready. There is a reason this rental is five stars, you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be returning!

Beautiful property
Very relaxing vacation. Beautiful property and very secluded. Everything was as described. Owner was great with communication and had great notes/info. Will need a rental car to get around. I would definitely recommend this property for couples.

Beautiful waterfront location
My husband and I loved the location of this cute guest house. It was just enough space for the two of us to enjoy a full week. It was great to have a full kitchen which makes it better than staying in a hotel. The pool was beautiful and we liked walking down the path to the water to just check out the sea life and get calf-deep in the sea

Absolutely amazing!
This was our second year at Villa Kendara and it did not disappoint! The guest house, the infinity pool, watching the kite boarders, and getting to meet the owners Tom & Carol was amazing! We loved diving, snorkeling and traveling around to our favorite beaches and restaurants as well as hanging out in the pool and swimming right out in front of the property! We made it to the floating tiki bar a mile out that you can walk to and enjoyed a few drinks and great food too. We have already booked for next year and cannot wait!!! Thank you for sharing your guest house with us!

Most Amazing View!!!
We absolutely loved the guest house and the pool and views are unbelievable. Tom & Carol are such gracious hosts and leaving them felt like leaving family. The water is so clear and with views for miles plus the super fun Ocean Tiki Bar that is a must to visit just off the shores. So many great restaurants and the Johnson guide to Provo book is so very helpful as well as all the information you will get from Carol, as we navigate all the Covid updates and requirements. We travel a lot and have gone to many Caribbean spots but this place has our heart. Thank you Carol & Tom for making this trip so magical and special. We appreciate you sharing your home and knowledge of the area. You are truly special people with wonderful hearts.
