About this house rental
Our tiny home tries really hard to be as wonderful as the cedar tree it sits next to. It even dressed itself in fancy cedar siding and lathered itself with tung oil. And although its efforts may have failed (it s hard to top mother nature), a definite theme has been born. Runner-up names included Hail Cedar! and 20,000 Leagues Beneath the Cedar.
Amenities:
- Comfy queen in loft & West Elm futon in living area
- Fans and white noise in the loft
- AC & heat that work wonderfully
- Full kitchen and bath
- Two cruiser bicycles
- Upgraded beach package: Solbello beach shade, two nice beach chairs, two Turkish beach towels, Hydroflask cooler tote, mesh beach bag
- Hammock
- Outdoor patio with two cushioned couches
- Unique board games designed for two-person play
- Full length mirror
- Alexa-enabled bluetooth speaker
- Small book collection
The bicycles are especially great, because there are a few restaurants and a music venue within a leisurely five minute ride. More on that later. Now, onto the house:
It s tiny! But it doesn t feel that way. The light color of the bamboo flooring, the many windows and the high ceilings help to open it up. The loft holds a queen-sized mattress, which sits low to the floor on tatami mats. There is a full bath with a rain-down shower, air vent, and cloth curtain door. There is a fully functional kitchen, with gas stove and microwave. There is a desk/table and a very comfy futon couch that opens to sleep an (additional) adult or two children (who are very welcome). The futon, when pulled out, measures 82” x 45.”
Amenities for daily living abound: fast wi-fi; soaps, towels & bed linens; cookware; electrical kettle; coffee maker and french press; a selection of teas, Trader Joe's dark roast coffee; wine glasses and a wine opener, champagne glasses, pepper grinder, kosher salt, olive oil, honey, etc. If you are in need of anything, just ask!
The house sits on the front left corner of our property and is surrounded on three sides by a privacy fence. The front faces the driveway, which is where you'll pull up and park (left side). In effect, because of the tall fence, guests have an entire property with yard and driveway to themselves. Easy, keyless entry and a flood light that comes on if you arrive at night.

This tiny home was a unique place to stay and affordable for the area. We had a great time exploring Charleston and enjoyed how cozy this place was. We made use of the bikes/amenities offered and the super friendly cat added to our experience :) The only thing I that would make the place more comfortable is a little more bathroom privacy, even just a more opaque curtain would do the trick. Overall it was a great stay and fun vrbo, we look forward to visiting charleston again!

Can not say enough good things about our stay. The perfect spot if you're trying to balance a little of everything in the Charleston area. The area it is in specifically is also so nice for bike rides and walking. The property itself is such a great tiny home design with everything you could need. The owner Brian was amazing, great communicator and helpful with anything you might need. This is definitely a spot I would look to stay at again if given the chance!

The house is definitely tiny but has all of the amenities and the location is great. Would recommend to any one who is tiny house curious and looking for a central place to stay between the beach and downtown.

Wonderful stay! Brian was extremely kind and communicative, offering us lots of recommendations around the area. The home was indeed tiny (but the space was utilized very well) and had all the necessary accommodations and then some. We appreciated the attention to detail and availability of bikes and beach chairs. Lovely trip 😊

We absolutely loved staying at this tiny home. Only a 15 minute drive to downtown and 15 to Folly Beach was a no brainer. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Charleston!

This was my first “tiny house” stay and I loved it. Great location and very clean. Was in town for the bridge run so I didn’t get to spend a lot of time at the house but it was close to everything you’d want to do. I also really appreciated the amount of work the host put into giving recommendations and making sure their guest could make the most of their trip. Highly recommend.

We loved staying here! It was quick and easy to get everywhere we wanted. The neighborhood itself was lovely. When we took the bikes out for a ride, everyone was so friendly! The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our three night stay. As two young traveling women, we felt safe and comfortable. The host was also very helpful :)

The tiny house was just perfect for my solo trip. It had everything I needed in a small footprint. Brian left uncomplicated instructions to best utilize the space and some great recommendations for visiting the area. I went to Bowens Island Restaurant, Crust Wood Fired Pizza, Fort Sumter, Cypress Gardens, the Charleston Museum, the Joesph Manigault house, the Heyward Washington house, an eight house tour centered on Charlotte Street and a basket making course through the Historic Charleston Historical Foundation. I had my first ever oyster at The Quinte Oyster Bar with great instructions and enthusiastic encouragement of the staff and the couple seated next to me. One sunny morning I went to the beach on Sullivan's Island. On the way to and from these activities I hunted for vintage items at as many local antique markets as I could fit in. With so much to do in the area I was only at the tiny house in the evenings, but it felt like home when I got there. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly, I slept well every night I was there. Thank you Brian for providing a great little place to stay in Charleston.

We only stayed in the tiny house one night and it was adequate for that. I'm not sure we could have done a longer stay given the space. Everything was very clean and comfortable. There was a small snafu with the check-in but the owner was right there as soon as I contacted him to let us in.

Super close/walking distance to the Pour house and easy drive to folly or downtown. For being a tiny house it has everything we needed for our stay. And there was a super friendly cat hanging outside.

The tiny house was perfect for my wife and I. It was our first tiny home experience and we thought it was perfect for our needs. We even cooked a few simple meals there during our stay.

The location was great, close enough to everywhere I wanted to go without being near loud crowds or downtown. The ladder to the loft/bed is a caution though to anyone older or unsteady, overweight, or with any joint or back issues. Other than that I was pleased with my stay and my host.

This was my wife and I's first tiny home rental, and it was a really nice experience. We were in town for a wedding, but between the wedding and our short trips to Folly Beach, we just needed a safe, clean, easy, and close to downtown place to lay pur heads. The tiny house fit the bill perfectly...the hosts were awesome with their communication and guidelines for the property, it made everything plain easy. The bed was super comfortable, the floorplan was well laid out, and the Alexa was a nice touch. We will definitely be back to the tiny house for future kid-free weekend trips to Charleston.

This tiny house was the cutest thing ever. Brian was a terrific host and sent us recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area well in advance of our stay so that we could even make reservations if necessary. The place was clean and homey. Obviously, it's tiny--so not a ton of room to move around or get ready if you're traveling with a companion. But it's definitely doable for a short stay and if you don't have a ton of luggage. Would 10/10 recommend for the tiny house experience! Thank you Brian for hosting us!

Enjoyed a week in Charleston and the tiny house was perfect for our anniversary stay. Brian helped out a lot with recommendations while we were there and was super accommodating with a change in my work schedule. The house is in a perfect location and within walking distance to some great dining (Millers All Day was our favorite). We would definitely recommend the tiny house!

Made my tiny house dreams come true :)
We absolutely loved our stay at this tiny home! First, let me start by saying that the host is amazing. Months before our scheduled stay, he had already reached out with a bunch of recommendations for food/activities which I found so helpful in planning my trip. Once we arrived, the space really exceeded our expectations. The space was so tidy, cozy and had some cute personal touches that I really appreciated. There was a cute drawing welcoming us to the home :) It is much more spacious than you would expect for a tiny home! This place is a must stay.

Sweet tiny house
We loved the tiny house-comfortable beds, the hammock on patio and biking through the neighborhood. Close to everything, yet quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect weekend getaway
The tiny house was awesome! Very clean and cozy. Downtown is under 10 minutes away and Folly beach is 20 minutes away with no traffic. The neighborhood is super cool. Riding the bikes was super fun. The huge oak trees lining the streets are so beautiful! I would definitely recommend!

Many Amenities!
My friend and I spent two nights in this perfect tiny home to celebrate my two years sober. We planned it around a show at Pour House, which we walked to from the tiny home. The drive to Folly Beach was a quick, easy drive. We took advantage of the bikes available the second night and went out to dinner (highly recommend Kwei Fei) then road bikes all around the neighborhoods. Inside the tiny home, the owners provided us with so many lovely things. A sound machine. Books and games. Fans. The artwork in the place is one of a kind and makes the space even more special. I will definitely come back when I can. You just won’t find a better spot.

Perfect little place!!
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend trip. It was perfect! Even though we were in a neighborhood, it felt very secluded. The outdoor hammock was great. The house smelled great and was decorated beautifully. I think it would be tight to bring kids along, but just the two of us it was perfect. We would definitely return!
