This property suited our needs as we were visiting family and cooking and eating with them mainly. Lack of a kitchen sink is the main drawback. However the kitchen is well appointed and the hosts exchanged used dishes for clean. Value for money.

This little cottage was absolutely beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and full of information. Great little extra bonus having an electric blanket on our bed. So tranquil and quiet. Great cafe and pub only a couple of mins walk away. Great little spot to end our trip through New Zealand

Such a cute little cottage, we really enjoyed our stay here and wish it could have been longer! Such a beautiful drive out around the peninsula, and the hosts made check in/out really simple and stress free. Would love to visit again some day!

Fabulous location - literally 5 minutes walk to Portobello township. Joe and Jamie were great hosts. Some places in town were closed on Tuesday nights so they phoned the local shop to ensure we could get supplies and offered us a pizza incase the shop was closed. They leant us a torch as it is very dark on the peninsula. We were really snug in this cosy cottage.

Quaint little cottage. Very cold weather and the cottage felt damp as no heating on when arrived. Would definitely recommend for a summer holiday.

This is a very quaint cottage that has been thoughtfully decorated in keeping with its history. It is well situated to access all the beautiful, natural attractions of the Otago Peninsula.
The booking process was very straightforward and correspondence was quick and effective. Joe and Jamie were great hosts, leaving me to myself unless I needed them. I enjoyed the occasional visits from the dogs - always enthusiastic but never outstaying their welcome.
I look forward to a return visit in the not too distant future.

Charming marine atmosphere, every where I looked I saw something else of interest. My only issue was the path into the property and the 2 gates. It was misty rain at the time of our stay and I found it very awkward carrying our gear in and out of the bach to the car.
Thank you for the comfortable accommodation.
Cheers
