This is the third stay for us at Françoise's apartment, and it was lovely as ever!

Perfect location for our recent stay in St Rémy. It was great to have such wonderful access to town. Free parking was just a 5 minute walk and worked out great. My wife and 1yr old daughter loved the stay. Thank you Until we meet again.

We loved our stay in St. Remy and this lovely home. We stayed for just one week, but could have easily stayed longer. The house is smack dab in the middle of St.Remy yet very quiet. The house was clean, comfortable and retains its classic charm. Everything we needed was available to us, including a fan. The small patio in the back was great for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner.
Free parking is available a few blocks away, which is a huge plus. The steps up to the bedrooms are a bit steep, but should be easily manageable by most. However, we chose not to take our heavy luggage upstairs :)
Our hostess is friendly and welcoming. She graciously waited for us when we got lost upon arrival. Communication was quick and easy from beginning to end.
We plan on returning to St. Remy for a longer visit and hope to stay here again.

This house is a gem! Two double bedrooms, sitting room and dining kitchen with a small totally private shady courtyard for meals outdoors. The bathroom has a large shower, basin and toilet. It was the owner's parents house and has been very well looked after. It was extremely well equipped and the owner was very helpful explaining how things worked when we arrived. She also gave us very useful directions to the town's free car park (just 5 minutes walk away) and the nearest good sized supermarket (Intermarché). St Remy town centre, where the house is located, is a lovely old pedestrianised area (with vehicle access for loading and unloading) surrounded by a lively road round what had been the old town walls. It has a good market on Wednesdays. There is a huge choice of restaurants and lots of small shops selling good quality (if somewhat pricey) crafts and souvenirs. The boulanger was only 100 metres from the house. The town was busy in mid April but not packed. We had really pleasant warm weather (although madame said it had rained a lot the previous week). Very close to the town is the monastery/sanatorium of St Paul de Mausole where Van Gogh spent a year (you can see his room) and next to that the old Roman town of Glanum which is worth a visit. Just a few miles south is the ruined citadel Les Baux de Provence, although we were met with "route barrée" as we turned up to the village! St Remy is also a good centre for visiting the many well known attractions of Provence, with almost every one less than 50 miles drive away. We went to the Pont du Gard (amazing but a slow queue to get in); Arles (lovely and small enough to get round in a few hours); the Camargue (Saintes Marie de la Mer was busy even on a Monday in mid April, but the flamingoes made it worthwhile); Mont Ventoux (the top still closed by snow); Aix en Provence (attractive but very busy - it has a huge student population - and if you want a Cezanne experience forget his studio - it's closed 12.30-14.00- and drive out past Le Tholonet for a great view of Mont Ste Victoire); and Avignon (interesting but beware of pickpockets!) Altogether an excellent week's holiday.

I stayed in this house for two months. The house is fairly large. Large and comfortable living room, very nice kitchen with an outdoor area attached. Upstairs, the master bedroom is very large with double closets and a large dresser. It overlooks the square. The guest room is small but overlooks the courtyard in the back and is very pretty. The one bathroom is small but adequate. If you need a cleaning lady, I recommend Murielle who lives two doors down. Overall, a nice, quiet house that is reasonably priced. While there has been some updating, it is a very old house, but was very clean when I arrived with a wonderful bottle of rose in the fridge. I hope to come back in the future.

The house was located in the centre of the ville which was perfect. The house was well appointed in an old worldy way.Good appliances and the outside courtyard added to our five o'clock drinks and nibbles. The bed was extremely comfortable which is important when undertaking daily exploration of the region. With a little effort the neighbours of the outside square proved to be friendly companions. The only comment is detailed instructions needed for the TV when looking for English channels.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time which was a fulfillment of a dream
