Relaxing, tranquil, love the open fire, well equipped kitchen.

The view. The tranquility. The hospitality (great communication). The simplicity and relaxation element. Perfect.

The shower over bath is a bit tricky for people with bad knees. Have to be VERY careful getting in and out.

Peaceful Lakefront Villa, use the kayaks to spot Platypus!

The villa is full of character. Around 3km out of town so it's a short drive but it's very peaceful and you are directly on the lake. You could quite easily stay all day on the veranda. However, there are 2 Kayaks to use and we did this in the early morning and were rewarded with several Platypus sightings. A real highlight. We had 3 days in the area. Worth swimming in Lake Eacham - beautiful and a nice short walk around it. Very well equipped kitchen and reliable wifi. The bath was lovely with a great shower. We were fully self catering and the Foodworks in town is very well stocked. No need to go to Atherton. Lots of birds around if you enjoy birdwatching - lots of Pelicans and Cormorants in particular.

Position on the lake Timaroo was breathtaking !! Great proximity to town , Surrounding areas Atherton & Mareeba . House has a long heritage , historical character , beautiful fire place !

Staying at Lakeside Holiday Villas was like a second honeymoon. A dream come true.

A lovely, comfortable, well furnished home in a beautiful, tranquil setting. The house provided every need- well equipped with tasteful appliances, including a coffee machine and coffee, and condiments. A luxurious bathroom with a clawfoot bath. The host even provided a candle beside the bath.

Everything was beautiful except for just 2 bath towels for 2 people for 5 days - washing machine I know, but .....

Overall very pleasant location and quiet part of town.

Quietness of the place and the view over the lake. And night darkness around the neighbourhood allowing to see stars

Very relaxing getaway in a stunning location, it was just what we needed.

stunning view, spacious, comfortable & clean property. Great location, the canoe’s were great fun

the shower was very hard to get in & out of. 2 of our group have medical conditions that limited their movements & I had to help them in & out of the shower so they didn’t slip over. And the toilet is very loud

Very relaxing stay with a wonderful view of the water, would definitely stay again

Great location. Cute cottage with a lovely view of the water.

The only negative point was the fact that the toilet did not flush every time. You had to stand on the toilet seat and wiggle the water pipe to relieve the air block in the system. The owner said the plumber had looked at it, but it was to do with the town water pressure.

Had we known shower over a high bath would NOT have stayed at property. Not told

All good - parking on grass was unexpected. Stale open fire smell on arrival.

love the location - getting in to the accommodation was not easy. Love the village of Yungaburra.

The lake view , cottage was clean Lovely furniture

The owner was rude and unwelcoming- The fireplace didn’t work properly. The shower over the bath was difficult for our elderly guest. Some lights didn’t work.

Very nice would love to stay for a few night.

Beautiful location and facilities. Beds were comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

It needs to be advised that there are 2 units here and which one you are allocated to. An A or B on the front would help. We thought the owner was lovely leaving the light on for us when we got there but it turned out to be the wrong unit (luckily the people staying there weren't there at the time).

Peaceful, quiet location Clean and very tidy.

The instructions to collect the keys were to go to a different address to collect. Then at that location...no one there. Phoned to be told keys somewhere else. Perhaps a quick call to let us know might have been better.
