The location, the appartment itself, and the landlords are all great. Full marks.

We had a wonderful stay - everything was perfect!

This was the second time we stayed in The Lorenc’s property, the other having been February of 2020 when we had come for Mardi Gras. It did not disappoint on either occasion. The apartment is exactly as described, spotless, well-equipped and a minute’s walk across Promenade des Anglais to the water.
Unlike many vintage French buildings, this one has a tiny lift which makes ferrying luggage so much easier.
The tram just behind the building makes access to downtown and Old Town easy.
The hosts are delightful, communicative and responsive. I highly recommend this property and the beautiful city of Nice.

More often than not, a VRBO is a place that is owned in order to rent - right? And along with that purpose - comes too often - a l’aise faire about the over all condition, up keep and available amenities of the accommodation. Catherine and her husband are at a whole other level. They are renting what they clearly consider their home - a place they’d live in with pride and comfort and surrounded by a cleanliness equal to none!!!! Coupled with an esthetic that is thoughtful, homey and pleasing - my husband and I felt honored to spend time there. I’ll not go into the amenities - you can read about those - but i will tell you that Catherine and her husband met us upon our arrival with enthusiasm and genuine gratitude for our choosing their home in which to stay. Her husband also offered to drop us off at the Gar de Nice Ville at the end of our stay. We ran into them out in the community a couple of times during our stay and they greeted us like old friends. I really love leaving this review - and can only hope that they’ll have room for us the next time we visit their beautiful city. Thank you Catherine and husband (I’m so sorry I’m not thinking of your name …. ) - we adored our stay with you and will be back very soon again, if you’ll have us. XO

Very pleasant, location was excellent and description of the property was accurate. We were grandparents taking a high school graduate on a trip. The bedrooms accommodated us with the only negative the quality of the towels. Could have used two bath towels per guest. The owners greeted us when we arrived and saw us off as well.

Very clean and comfortable apartment across the street from a beautiful coastal walking/riding path. Good communication with Catherine and Antoine. Antoine even lent us his American coffee maker. A little over a 2 mile walk to Old Nice but only 2 minutes from the tram that will take you to the center of town for 1.70 euros.

A lovely property in Nice -is a bit far from the main areas, but we just got the tram everywhere as the station was behind the building. It is right across from the beach, which isn’t too busy as it out of the main area. We had a great time and Catherine and her son were very helpful.

My friends and I had a lovely time staying in Catherine’s property in Nice. The apartment is right across the street from the beach (with sea views out the window), and very close to the tram, which will take you anywhere else in Nice you would like to go. The apartment is very clean and comfortable, and Catherine was a lovely host. I highly recommend staying here for your visit to Nice.

We’ve stayed at many VRBOs and this is among the best. I highly recommend staying here.
Exactly as pictured. Great discounted price for a month-long stay. Perfect location in residential area on Promenade des Anglais! Tram line 2 was extended from the old town to the airport in 2019. Before then transit was limited to busses, which are convenient (especially bus 12 & 32), but the tram is even better. It’s a short 10-minute ride to either the airport or the old town from the Fabron stop. I highly recommend getting the 1-week unlimited transit pass. It’s good for the tram, the local busses, and also the busses traveling just outside of Nice (such as , Grasse, Eze, Monaco, etc). However, I recommend taking the SNCF trains for short trips from Nice. Small cost but much faster and more comfortable. The St. Augustin SNCF station is more convenient than the Niceville station. Just take tram 2 to the Grand Arenas stop and it’s a short walk from there.
Carrefour City and a great boulangerie are on the same block as the flat. We did a lot of cooking, so we didn’t eat at a lot of local restaurants, just take-out at Castor Pizza (I recommend the 4-cheese pizza). Two larger grocery stores are 2 tram stops away. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed for cooking. It even had some basics like salt/pepper, sugar, coffee, and vinegar. Catherine had a bottle of wine, beer and a few snacks waiting on our arrival. She also had plenty of household items such as laundry soap, toilet paper, masks, hand sanitizer, and all of the cleaning supplies we needed for the month. There were 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, plenty of beach towels, and beach bag. We purchased a beach blanket from the vendors at the beach in Antibes and it came in handy for picnics for the remainder of our stay.
Although there’s an air conditioner in the hallway, it’s not the central air that Americans are used to. But closing the doors at night (except for the bedroom) and using the electric shutters while gone kept the temperature comfortable. The windows are high quality and block out all outside noises. The Wi-Fi was sufficient for me to work from “home,” at least from the bedroom holding the modem (but it didn’t reach the other bedroom).
The only issue we had was upon check-in. The address was for one of the 2-story white buildings and the woman who answered the bell said she’s constantly bothered by people trying to check into this flat. So don't got there, go to the gate in between the white buildings and Catherine will be waiting for you there.

Outstanding apartment
Wow...I will remember all the good things about this apartment forever, but the checkin and meeting Catherine and her family made it so much more than renting an apartment. Their son even gave me a ride to airport on final morning. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need, bed super comfortable, apartment was spotless. Quiet at night. Air conditioning worked perfect...turn it off when you leave and quick cool down when you return. I have to admit I loved that there was an American coffee machine. Quick swim right across the street and beach towel/chair/bag all ready for you. Lift for luggage. I loved it. Just need to know bus number 12 gets you to the busier parts of Nice. Stop right out front 2 blocks away. Outstanding apartment. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful stay
We rented this place in August for 3 nights, the owner was wonderful, greeting us and seeing us off, providing as many details as possible. Location was great, 2 minute walk to the beach. A couple of small things - the shutter for the window in one of the rooms did not work so we unfortunately did not get a view outside in the back (the front was okay, giving us a great view of the water) and our understanding of 2 bathrooms was different than it actually was - it was a toilet in 1 room and the shower/sink in the other. Otherwise, a great place to stay, definitely recommended!

FANTASTIC rental in Nice!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and HIGHLY recommend staying here. The place and owners are absolutely delightful. There are so many things that made our stay wonderful. We could see the beach from the front of the apartment. Cute table to drink your morning coffee and see the beautiful water. Air conditioner worked better than most places in France. And it's all the small details that make this place so great - the beach essentials provided (2 beach chairs, an umbrella, a beach bag, and even a few toys), the kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed including some essentials that were a wonderful surprise (snacks upon arrival, kitchen soap, coffee filters, sugar cubes for coffee, oil for cooking), plenty of things like hand soap, kleenex, toilet paper, etc.., roll down windows in the bedrooms to block sunlight in the morning, elevator to take up luggage, and the bathroom had the perfect amount of space for all of our stuff in the drawer below. Catherine and her husband really do a nice job anticipating their renters needs to make it a great experience.
The location is fairly far down the promenade in terms of proximity to Old Town, which has it's pros and cons. Pros: The beach access across from the apartment is excellent. Much less crowded than up near Quai des Etas-Unis. And lifeguards right there, great even for a strong swimmer on days where waves were huge. If you wanted to go next door and rent lounge chairs from the Radisson, that is an option, but we didn't feel it was necessary to do that given what was provided by the owner. Cons: There are not a ton of great restaurants nearby, you really need to go down near Old Town to get the large variety of restaurants you'll want for meals. It is fairly easy to grab a bus from in front of the apartment up to Old Town area which was nice. But for us, the much smaller crowds made the location perfect for us - tons of room on the beach (just bring water shoes as the rocks will hurt your feet otherwise) and we did cook several meals in the apartment.
The only thing we wish this place had was a dryer. As an American family, it's just something we're used to having at home. The drying rack provided was perfect for our clothes (they actually dried very quickly to our surprise) but I sure did miss the way towels feel when they come out of the dryer =) But that is obviously more of a cultural difference we acknowledge.
Great place, great owners, highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic
What a great stay we had at this property. We were met promptly upon arrival by Catherine and her husband. Two absolutely lovely people. The apartment was spotless clean and well stocked. It is located right across from the beach and just minutes from all the restaurants and shopping . It is a beautiful city with lots to offer. Catherine and her husband were most hospitable. Couldn’t ask for more other than I wish we could have stayed longer.
Thank you Catherine for making our trip so special and for the wine . You both were so kind to us.

Lovely character apartment on the seafront virtually, has lifeguards and good swimming stone beach(no sand in your sandwich!) Suggest beach shoes as stones a bit hard on your feet.
Very accommodating host, great public transport, tram/bus.
Absolutely recommend this place.

Can’t say enough good things about Catherine’s amazing apartment. We arrived on a Monday after 15 hours of travel. She and her husband met us at the apartment, immediately put our luggage in the lift, brought it into the apartment and showed us how to use the door keys, call the lift, all the appliances and directions to the market and bakery. Location is wonderful. Tram stop behind the building, buses in front, great market and bakery just steps away. Not in the middle of nightlife, so much quieter for sleeping. This place is immaculately clean, so well appointed and has a full IKEA kitchen. We loved enjoying a meal at the little balcony table. There are beach chairs, umbrella and towels for the beach across the street. In addition, Catherine brought us a fabulous bottle of rose’, there was coffee, snacks and everything you could possibly hope for in a pantry away from home. AND, the lovely husband drove us to the airport when we left on Friday morning. We felt like family. Thank you so much for our fabulous first time in Nice. We will book again on our next time.

Lovely and Spacious
Aside from the breathtaking ocean view, the apartment was beautifully updated with a modern kitchen and huge shower. The rooms were pretty and comfortable. Catherine was such a wonderful host. She kept in contact with us and met us on our arrival, showing us the apartment and nearby conveniences. She even left us wine and sweets. We had a great stay!

Extremely clean!!
We stayed in this apartment for 5 days. It is very clean, I mean spotlessly clean. It feels bigger than the pictures indicate and it is well furnished with nice linens, they even supply beach towels and a beach tote. The owners left us treats so we had snacks when we arrived and wine, very thoughtful. We arrived at about 22:30h so we had to pay the 20€ late check in fee when we paid the 80€ cleaning fee ( again, the cleaning fee is understandable as it really is the cleanest apartment we have ever rented). The owners live in the same building and stopped by a couple times- once to help us with the gate when they saw from their window we had trouble with it, once to ask when we would be leaving and once the morning we checked out. This is an extremely nice apartment, just the most impressive kitchen (stocked with everything one needs to cook a full meal) and a newly remodeled tile bath that is also spotlessly clean. I would stay again if in Nice. I would suggest earplugs for the front bedroom if you are a light sleeper- you can hear the street traffic, the characters at the gas station on the corner (suspect looking and loud but seem harmless) and one Morning at 6:00am for a long time a crane delivering supplies to a next door rooftop. We got to see a beautiful sunrise that day, lol. The only negative for us was the noise which we could have fixed with ear plugs. The large back bedroom was very quiet according to our teenage daughter’s- we had plenty of room for a family of 4 grown bodies, so spacious. The apartment is stunning! Well done, Catherine. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful well loved apartment and for the treats.

Wonderful apartment
The apartment is in a great location overlooking the Promenade. It was so easy to find, after taking the tram from the airport, we were met by lovely Catherine and her husband (who also very kindly took us back to the airport after our stay). The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Thank you so much to the Lorenc family for making our trip so special, we would love to return.

Lovely Apartment
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the apartment was perfect for us. It was very clean and very well stocked. I enjoyed eating my breakfast on the balcony every morning even though it was the end of December. Catherine and her family were very helpful and accommodating, even taking us to the airport on our departure. The only thing that could have enhanced our stay would have been a list of local restaurants.

A lovely nineteenth century apartment with a wonderful view and wonderful hosts.
This splendid apartment is located right on the Promenade Des Anglais with an excellent view over the Mediterranean, out of the centre of Old Nice. It is very well served by buses (including from the Nice Ville station), with a stop almost right outside the building; a bus ride to Old Nice takes 10-15 minutes depending on time of day and traffic; alternatively, a brisk walk along the Promenade - highly recommended - takes 30-40 minutes. An excellent boulangerie is a 5 minute walk away.
The apartment itself has been very nicely refurbished, with a comfortable dining/sitting room, spacious bedrooms, a bathroom with brilliant shower, and a really well-equipped kitchen.
Thoughtful touches are everywhere, including various provisions on arrival and beach towels.
We received a most warm welcome from Catherine and her husband. She was very attentive to questions then and later in our stay. Most generously, Catherine's husband drove us and our friend separately to the station, the latter quite early in the morning.
We would definitely return. Highly recommended.

Lovely Appartment in a beautiful location
After a lot of searching we decided to choose this appartment for a family trip with our 2 year old daughter. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice! The appartment itself was lovely and incredibly clean. It had all of the facilities and space we needed and also felt very secure. Also no issues with noise. Catherine and her husband were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t have been accommodating. The appartment it right next to the beach and if your not so keen on the pebbles then there is a area you can hire sun loungers. There’s also a supermarket close by with your everyday essentials. Getting around is easy as there’s a bus stop just outside which travels in and out of Nice, however we often enjoyed a lovely walk along the promenade. If you decide to book you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again for a perfect stay.

A lovely spacious apartment .............
We loved staying at this apartment. It was well equipped and very clean. Catherine, her husband and son were very helpful. A supermarket and local shops are very close as are numerous bus services. It was so easy to get to Antibes and Grasse (and so cheap) and the bus stop is just near the front of the building. It is easy to get a bus from the airport as the journey isn't far and the bus stops just opposite the apartment. We had a view of the sea and it was lovely to be able to walk along the Promenade des Anglais each day.
Would definitely recommend staying here.

Super Nice Nice!
Property was outstanding - wonderful location close to beach and buses, clean and spacious. A/C worked well even with high ceilings. Owner had some much-appreciated munchies for breakfast on hand and towels that worked for beach. This is a true 2-bedroom with nice sized, comfortable beds in each. Nice sized bath with separate-room toilet. Great sea view and owner helped us arrange parking for our rental car. HIghly recommend this property! Good value; great property!

Amazing apartment right across from the ocean with a great view.
Catherine and her husband were amazing. They greeted us and had everything ready including breakfast items and a chilled bottle of rose. Apartment is modern, super clean and comes with everything you need for the beach. This place is a find and if available you should jump on it. They even gave us a ride back to the airport when we were leaving.

Fantastic location. Lovely cozy apartment. Catherine and her family were very gracious and helpful. Could not have been better. One thing... would suggest providing
Written instructions in English on how to use appliances and how to turn on the hall light. But would definitely return and recommend !!

A friendly welcome by Andre, who spoke excellent English and explained everything in detail.
The first impression of the entrance to the building was one of old style charm that is a little jaded but for those of us who appreciate this peak into days gone by,it is charming.
On entering the apartment the first thing that one sees is a fabulous glimpse of the sea beyond the promenade through floor to ceiling windows of the bedroom. The sunny lounge also gives a hint of what lies beyond the low rise apartments in front.
The kitchen, bathroom and toilet are beautifully done, well equipped and spotless.
All in all, Highly Recommended.

Could not ask for a better host. We were greeted promptly after our arrival, Catherine and her son both helped us into the apartment, showed us all the details, and then proceeded to answer all of our questions on where to go, how to get there, what to bring, simply the best. Had zero issues with the rooms, nice and quiet, and with a great view of the ocean which was about...1 minute from the property gate.
The final touch, they dove us to the airport! I’d stay here again and again! Thank you.
