Perfect family getaway
We loved this property. Just as advertised. We enjoyed outdoor fires, breakfast on the deck among trees and wildlife and the kids being older enjoyed their own space. It is close to a number of beaches, Coolum, Peregian & Noosa. Location is perfect. We recommend for a family getaway.

Nice place but could be better
Lovely place 10 mins drive to shopping centres and beaches but could do without bugs mosquitoes & other unwanted insects, We stayed for 10days half the time was raining we had no clothes dryer to dry our clothes, the indoor clothes line was pretty small for 10 adults
Probably needed better communication with cleaners etc & host
We had no gas on the bbq bottle had to go and buy a new bottle and no where to put out rubbish first couple of days because the council bins weren’t emptied.Needed thorough overall cleaning inside as some inside corner walls had cobwebs

Peaceful rustic retreat
We loved staying on this property. The alternative style was lovely and we really felt relaxed staying here. A nice private, quiet property, you feel like sitting in the bush. A 10 min drive to a lovely beach. We will consider booking again !

Spacious and relaxing
Lizard Lodge has a very open and relaxing feel. We enjoyed the spacious deck and separateness of the main house from the bedrooms. Unfortunately we stayed during a week of wet weather which also meant masses of insects. It was very difficult to keeping them outside.

Great location
We loved the bush location while still being so close to the beach, & we loved the outdoor fire experience, it felt a bit like camping! Unfortunately the property was not cleaned to standard & we had a few maintenance issues. I do suggest a comfier couch & also making it clearer in the listing that there is zero security in the property & that the rooms open to the outside, as this may not suit all families.

Bush retreat
We stayed here with our two grandchildren 7 and 8 for an emotional recharge. The kids loved the adventure of exploring this interesting property. They were too scared to stay in the bunk room on their own though and there was a fair bit of bed swapping.
We loved the natural environment. If you like the bush and no visible neighbours you will love it.

Wonderful stay with friends
Our family stayed here recently with 2 other families with small children and we loved it! Fire pit & pot belly stove for the chilly nights and great outdoor entertaining area when its warm. We all loved the outdoor shower. Its close enough to the beach and the shops but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this property.

Quiet paradise
We enjoyed our stay at the lodge but we were a bit disappointed of the size of the kitchen and living room so don't be fool by the pictures!!!!!!! The kitchen bin is way too small for 10 people which I find myself having to change the bag 5 times a day!!!! The lodge is beautifull and quiet and apart from minor negatives point we had a lovely time. Thank you so much

Great time at Lizard Lodge
We had a great time at the Lizard Lodge, great to be amongst the trees and close to the beach. Afternoon's on the deck were special with the sun fading amongst the native bush land. We booked with Vicky from Prestige. Holiday Homes are found her professional and helpful. Thanks for letting us stay in this lovely home.

Do not book this property with Prestige Holidays
This was one of the worst experiences our family has ever had.
We booked this property a few weeks in advance with Stayz, and were contacted by Vikki from Prestige Holidays and paid in full. We arrived at the location late in the evening of check in with two vehicles and 8 people (including an elderly couple) in the pouring rain to be locked out and were forced to return home and find other accommodation for our guests. In the morning I notified Vikki from Prestige Holiday, who managed our booking, and was told that she had made a mistake and thought we were staying at a different location. We still wanted to spend the rest of our holiday at the property so later that day we were able to drive back up and enter the property.
During our stay we had problems with both the water and electricity, I contacted Vikki, but again received no concern for our situation or solutions for our inconvenience.
After departing from our disappointing stay I contacted Vikki, as I told her I would, and requested some form of compensation for our many inconveniences and the nights stay we were unable to use. I was told that we would only be refunded the one nights stay, but not for the day missed, the cost of driving two vehicles back and fourth, the accommodation that was arranged for our elderly guests, the waterless taps and hours without electricity. In my opinion this is just nowhere near good enough for the experience we had, of course we shouldn't pay for what we were unable to use.
My advice is to not use Prestige Holidays or you will most likely find ourself in the dark, literally. Extremely disappointed in the product and service. Look elsewhere if you want to enjoy a hinterland experience with your family.

Stayed at the Lizard Lodge with some good friends for a 3 night stay. Was blown away by its central location and facilities. The weather doesn't matter rain or shine the place accommodates and has great energy. There are many resources for cooking and entertaining, was even surprised by the inclusion of 4 authentic German stein glasses for a drink. The Lizard Lodge has something for everyone, it's truly a place to be appreciated.
