The property has an amazing location directly on the lake, providing plenty of room for a large group. The beautiful views and fun amenities like the game room make it a perfect spot for a getaway!

We enjoyed our trip. The house was perfect for our group. It had everything we needed. The location on the lake was amazing. It was just a short walk to the water.

Overall the weekend as a whole was great. We got to spend time with family and friends that could be there. The location of the house was awesome, it was great to hangout in the lake and swim. The house was cute and had plenty of room for all of us. We hung out outside and inside on the the rainy day. We played games and just got to be together. Thank you for that!!! We do have some suggestions and by no means do we mean anything negatively, maybe just somethings that need some work or cleaning. The AC may need some work, during the day we couldn’t get it to go below 80. It was pretty warm and because of that my mother in law couldn’t stay with us. We did take the filter out because it was pretty dirty. There is also one of the sliding doors in the dining room, the doors on the right, that doesn’t close all the way. It was letting in the heat and the bugs/wasps. The wasps were another thing. Our daughter is highly allergic and when we arrived there were quite a few wasps in the family room & they kept coming in somehow. There are also quite a few nests outside that back door. We knocked down what we could and sprayed what we could with the bug spray and water hose. We think maybe a good pressure washing outside on the back to get rid of all the webs and wasps would probably help. Maybe some pest control, because there were spiders and spider webs in the house as well. The cabinet above the microwave has a bunch of old food in it and spider webs around the food. Again overall everything was great just a few things to tidy up on.

The communication with Morgan was great and she responded promptly. The cleanliness and and maintenance of the property can use some improvement as the a/c did not work as well as it should have. It never got below 78 degrees at night and was over 80 degrees durning the day. The game room was a hit with our family however, the pool sticks could use some tips as they were completely broken off making it hard to play properly. Overall, the house is a unique and beautiful property and has a lot of potential. We look forward to future visits.

House smelled, was a long way from the water vs what the picture looked like, we did not even know until the last day there was another room we could have used that was an out building. linens furniture and floors need to be updated.

We had so much fun, house location is amazing directly on the lake. The house needs a lot of cleaning, there is spider web everywhere. If the owner spends some money on a deep cleaning of the house, I would go there again.

Overall, we had a good time. The lake was very low due to the drought, but that was beyond their control. The house was clean and had all of the items we needed. It was very dog friendly. My only complaint is there were sticker burrs in the grass around the house. With kids and dogs, we were constantly picking stickers out of their feet.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!!
This was the dirtiest Vacation rental I have ever stayed in. We had to clean the kitchen so we could cook all the pots dishes were filthy. The cupboards even had cobwebs in them. If there was another place to stay in this area that would have slept 8 people we would have left. The dock is in very bad shape glad we didn't bring the boat. The front bathroom by the game room the shower was leaking so we were down to 2 showers and we had to clean the master bath shower there was hair in it everywhere and looked like it had not been cleaned either. The none slider doors open so the only way out of bedrooms in the event of a fire is the door to the hallway. the glass doors were filthy and same with the floors My socks and feet were black every day. They said they were going to compensate me but never did.

End of Season Getaway
I would probably not rent this property again. It needs a lot of repairs. Sliding doors in main room will not open. Return air filter for a/c was completely blocked with dirt. Faucet in kitchen won’t shut off. Constantly putting kitchen chairs back together. Bed in the den slopes to the middle and the dock is in need of a lot of work. Walkway is unsafe for passage and there is no protection around the steel support members to protect your boat from scratches and dings.

Great location and relaxing backyard view
The backyard view is great with a nice slope down to the water. The kids had a blast playing outside and inside, enjoying the recreation room.

We enjoyed this lake home. There is plenty of room in this spacious home. The views were beautiful and the proximity to the lake is great. Our teenagers had a great time playing pool and darts in the game room :)

Perfect place to unplug and relax
My family had an amazing time at this property! It was the perfect place to unplug and relax. The house was located on the lake where the there was a great amount of shade in the afternoon where we spent a lot of time swimming. The owner was super nice and quick to respond to any questions I had. The house is beautiful and we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to spend our vacation. We made great memories and we all had a chance to relax and enjoy ourselves! We are so thankful to be able to stay here! Will stay again!!

The Lake House
We absolutely loved our stay at this Lake House! We have tried a couple of different places over the years, and this one was by far the house where we felt the most at home. The floors were so nice especially after being outside, and even when it rained we never ran out of things to do! The kids loved playing pool, playing games, and of course, soaking up the sun! We definitely look forward to staying here again, and my family recommends it to absolutely anyone!

Disappointing
The property details says “TV and DVD” players. They didn’t work. There is a cable dish. No cable. The Vistors Book has instructions for WiFi but it didn’t work. The property details didn’t say the water on the property tastes bad but a note taped inside a cabinet does say that and recommends bringing bottled water. It would have been good to know that before we got there.
The property has numerous needed repairs. One of the toilets won’t flush. Lights burnt out or simply don’t work. Many bare bulb light fixtures. Sliding Doors that don’t open or are stuck. Closet doors laying in room. Too many repairs to list. Obviously the property is not maintained.

Huge and spacious!
Had a blast, plenty to do. Liked the limitations it had on technology. Had a billard table, close to the lake, bbq grill, fire pit for late night, tire swing. Got more than I expected!

Amazing views!! The house was right on the water and plenty of room for our family!
We were able to have our boat in the water and walk right out to it everyday. The lake house was amazing with plenty of space. We will definitely be renting again! Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

Big, beautiful, and clean!☀️
This lake house on the waterfront perfectly encapsulates summer vibes. The house itself was the perfect size for our 3 family vacation and very well kept. Both adults and children are able to have a wonderful time here. Definitely would recommend to family and friends looking to get away and enjoy the water.

Like the sign says, Love, Laugh, Lake!
There are only fun times to be had at this lakeside property. It has everything a classic lake house needs and some. The house is clean and big enough for a large friend group or several families to stay. I highly recommend this spot for Texas heat getaways.

Best weekend ever!
We had the time of our lives at this wonderful lakehouse! Perfect location on a cove. The house had lots of charm of an older home built for fun in the sun — reminded me of the dog days of summer from when I was a child. I read some reviews about the house not being clean so I was a little worried. I found the house to be extremely clean — the fridge and oven were spotless, as was the rest of the house. The carpet didn’t bother me because I’d rather walk on carpet than floors, especially after coming in from swimming. I also read a review about the closet doors? Come on... it’s a person’s lakehouse, not a hotel. Our overall stay was perfect — we’re already looking at our calendars to stay there again.

Great Location - Not So Great Home
Location is 5 star. It’s close to the Colorado River and on the more scenic side of Lake Buchanan and cove is private.
House is 3 stars - at best. It’s spacious and the layout is great. HOWEVER: The vintage AC unit took 24 hours to cool it down due to it being set at 85 when we arrived. Even then it was working as hard as it could to keep the house moderately cool. The window units work okay but not great. With no trees to block the sun it made it hot. The coldest room was the outbuilding w/the 2 twin beds but due to dead bugs and scorpion decided not to use it. The curtains in the living room are sheer and upper windows are uncovered, making it hot most of the day. The sliding doors weren’t used due to Herculean strength required to open them.
Room w/pool table had stuff crammed in the corners and sitting around – as did several areas of the house. However the teens did enjoy playing pool.
Live roaches found in the kitchen almost every day – one was even in dishwasher. Frig kept things cool but from the way it sounded, was worried it was going to go out. Due to the roaches, I washed anything before I used it. The water pressure is really low – it takes forever to do a load of laundry.
Dead bugs were on the carpet which also looks like it hasn’t been replaced in years. The ceiling fan in one bedroom didn’t work – thank goodness there was a box fan in closet. Only 1 lamp in the entire house BTW. Had to take bulb from kitchen fixture to replace the one on front porch so it wasn’t pitch dark at night if we went out.
Listing should mention that boaters will need to tie up to the dock or beach their boat. Due to old lift that’s still in the dock, you can’t pull a boat in the slip for cover (it stormed one night while we were there so it would have been nice to have cover). Dock itself is in poor condition with no electricity. Shelving has rat feces and wasps. Metal from the old lift and a metal trap could be a danger to little ones.
The outside of the house could use a good power wash as there were spider webs EVERYWHERE. There's a difference in maintaining a home and having someone surface clean between renters. Owner needs to put $ back into home & tidy up all the crap renters have left over time or modify the description to be more accurate of its actual condition. We rent homes every summer in various places and this one was probably the worst yet. It was sort of like camping indoors – we made the best of it.

Great location, accommodations could be improved
The location of the house is great. The views are beautiful and it’s peaceful and private.
The house is an older home so I wasn’t expecting something super fancy. I was however expecting it to be clean and fully functional. The dining table had crumbs on it and was sticky. The oven was so so dirty. It was terrible. The fridge appears to be very dirty, but is fine with the exception of unsightly rust stains. The carpet in the living room and dining is awful. It’s old and stained and looks so unsanitary to walk on. They need to rip it out and put in tile. The “game room” serves its purpose but there was no air hockey table in sight. The master bedroom was advertised as having a king and a queen bed. There was only a king bed. There are instructions to leave all the trash out front at the end of the stay which is fine, but when we arrived both dumpsters were overflowing and there was a lot of trash all around the front which hardly left space for our trash.
There are dvds and books available to use, but all the dvds for kids were missing. I was able to find 1 dvd box that had a disc but it was broken. We found a lot of broken things in the house upon arrival and were concerned that we would be blamed for them so we called the number provided for any issues we may have upon arrival. We called, no answer and no call back. I tried email and received a brief uninterested response.
One of the restrooms has a very large low window which does not have a curtain. The blind for it was uninstalled and laying on the floor. It was very difficult hanging a towel over it because it would fall constantly. The ac works well enough. The only thing that saves this rental listing is the view. The house is fine overall but ultimately disappointing and unacceptable for the rental rate. We left the house in better condition than when we received it because we cleaned up after ourselves.
Also, the towels and sheets provided are not up to par. They are as dated as the house and appear to be from the 70’s or 80’s. The windows and outdoor furniture we’re covered in spider webs. I understand that this cannot always be controlled but we could tell they this has not been dusted or hosed down in a long time. Also, the fan in the bunk bed room was not functioning and the closet doors in the master were off the hinges and just leaning against the wall. It was an unsightly hazard.
I’ll try my luck at a different location next time.

Great place. Perfect spot on the lake in nice secluded cove.
House has plenty of room. Will sleep 20 plus comfortably. Close to the mouth of the river and only 10 minutes or so from the dam. We had a great weekend.

Awesome lake access!
Our group of 10 stayed over the long 4th of July weekend. We have a pontoon boat so it was absolutely awesome to have the boat dock for access. Since the lake was so very low in years prior, there is some brush near the dock but we managed to traverse it easily enough. There is a nice public boat ramp just a few blocks from the house. The dock also provided excellent shaded fishing for those who cast a line in our group. Swimming access is perfect. You walk right out of the back door, down the lawn and directly into the gently sloping water. We enjoyed early morning, late night and hot, hot mid-day swimming. We made use of the fire pit, the grills and the lawn was nicely maintained. There were deer all over the place! On Saturday evening, there was a damn fine fireworks display over the lake that was perfectly viewed from the living room / dining table. Our group ranged from 12 to 76. The house is listed as 3 bedroom but each of those rooms provide multiple beds that are not always easily shared. While we did have plenty of space for everyone, it required some spreading out. We used the game room and "den" area for sleeping spaces and those room are only equipped with window a/c units. The window units had no chance of keeping up and making those rooms cool. The 3rd bedroom is actually a detached space, also with a window unit that I am positive Noah used on the Ark. It spent most of the weekend "frozen" and not in a state that could cool the room. The house is large with large windows and the regular a/c worked every second we were there to try and maintain 78 degrees which was a struggle during most of the day. We didn't melt but we were never completely cooled off. It certainly didn't hinder our good time but something of note for the major a/c lovers. Decor was stuck in another decade far away, carpet needs to be gutted completely and the wifi was about as speedy as Noah on the Ark but the teeny kitchen was well stocked. I had to make one call to the ower with a question and she was very sweet. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
