If you're reading this, book IUTA glamping! My husband and I stayed here for 5 days and it was an absolute dream. The salt water pool was lovely in the afternoons, as were the food and drinks. Everything was fresh and local. We stayed in one of the suites with our own plunge pool, and found it was beautifully decorated -- the vibe felt calming and high-end. And last but not least, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Beatrice, who was managing the hotel while we were there, recommended places for us to visit and eat in nearby towns and even helped us make reservations! We really hope to make it back to IUTA someday soon.
I'd also recommend renting a car during your stay. We used this as a home base to explore other nearby towns and found it was very accessible.

Beautiful property and stunning rooms and pool. The attention to aesthetics is lovely.
We’ve stayed at similar properties and have had better experiences with the staff. When we checked in, it was a rather fast process and the staff member was slightly dismissive. There was little explanation on details of the resort - even the complimentary yoga class that was starting 1.5 hours after we arrived wasn’t mentioned to us. The owners are all over the IUTA instagram page but when seeing them around the property, they wouldn’t engage with hotel guests or even say hello, which we found quite odd. At other properties, we’ve found staff and owners to be more warm and friendly, often sharing details of the property and it’s journey. We also had to provide our passports at check in and they were not returned to us. We left the resort, realized and had to turn around - almost making us late for our ferry.

Very beautiful place, nice pool area, amazing homemade food, everyday a new breakfast variation, we loved it!
Unfortunately we had a bad timing, with 4 italian families with small kids and babies, who took over the normally very calm and relaxing pool area.

Amazing spot. Lovely team, we were so looked after on our honeymoon. The pool and communal areas are excellent and our room was nice and big.

All in all, it was a peeeeerfect stay for us! We were craving nature, calmness and warmth and we got it all!
- The staff: everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Especially Emmanuele & the waitress who was an absolutely wonderful young woman. She was very professional, but smiling and friendly every single day.
- The location: it was perfect for us, with a car. We were able to visit the following places very easily for day trips: Noto, Modica, Marzamemi and without any trouble.
- The facility: in itself the place is very beautiful. Every picture is effortlessly amazing because of how everything looks. The pool was also really nice. We had the suite, so with a nice comfy private pool but we unfortunately were unlucky with some rainy days, so we couldn't fully use it. You definitely get the "organic" and sustainable vibe around the place. We could also walk around peacefully, check some lime trees or pomegranates, etc.
- The breakfast: it was super fresh with an italian twist. It was changing every day. We finished every single thing on our plates every day! :D There was no day when we felt that lunch was needed, so much the breakfast was perfectly filling. It also inspired us for our own breakfast when back to Germany. ♥️
- Mosquitoes: when we arrived to our room, we found a mosquitoes plug repellent, which was great. We would still recommend that you bring extra things (like the spray and/or a net over your beds), as the plug wasn't enough.
- Parking: there is an easy and big parking spot for cars, that was very very handy. Emmanuele picked us up from there with a little electric cart and transported our luggages to our suite, that was very kind and amazing!
- Pets: we felt like it would be heaven for pets owners. The property has 2 cats and 3 dogs (to what we saw). They're very used to humans and especially one dog was very warm and wanted to be cuddled all the time.
Thank you IUTA Team! ❤️
There is absolutely nothing we "didn't like" but rather some ideas to implement;
- Food: we noticed that for breakfast, there were many guests not eating their cakes, for example, that were left untouched. It would be great if before serving the guests, you could ask them what would they like to have. In this way, hopefully, what is served is consumed. The other thing: dinner would have been appreciated. Although, we understand that it's difficult to get a good level chef just for dinners in that region.
- Activities: especially during the unfortunate rainy days, I would have loved some italian related activities. For example for a paid activity, the property was making their own olive oil but pressed outside. It would be great to get a little oil presser machine and organise an activity around this. You could let the guests collect their own olives, while educating them about it and then let them press it and take it with them (incl. in the activity's price).
- Transport: we had a car, so it was totally fine for us to go to Noto (4-5 min max.). We stayed in IUTA for 1 week and we didn't have to go to any restaurant 2 times. There is plenty of choice. You should plan accordingly.

The farm is beautiful and very relaxing. The pool area is clean and calming. The owners have clearly thought through all the details. Breakfast and lunch were delicious! I didn’t want to leave.

it was beautiful and peaceful. they only serve breakfast and lunch at the moment, but are planning on adding dinner. the food is delicious and you don't notice that it is all vegetarian. the staff was very helpful in recommending and helping with dinner plans.
i wish there were a small bar - just so you could get a cocktail or whiskey at the end of your night or at the pool. the other issue is the septic system.

The place is magical! The common areas (breakfast and pool area) are really beautiful with minimal decor which give a very relaxing vibe. Breakfast consists of a big fruit salad, homemade juice, salty dish (eggs or bruschetta) and homemade cake. Everything is very delicious and organic.
We stayed in the lodge which is very well equipped. It is essentially a 5 star hotel room with the fun experience of camping as you are sorrounded by nature. There are golf cars you can use to go to the the lodge which I would recommend doing at night as it
can get very dark and there aren’t many lights around.
The hosts Giulio and Emanuele are very friendly and helpful.
The place is a 5 min drive away from Noto and not too far from other places (Siracusa, Ragusa, Marzamemi etc). Overall I would definitely recommend this place.

Great hosts, superb location near Noto, relaxing property. Highly recommended!
Luxury hotel prices without the complete service or little extra touches (bathrobes, new soap, etc). And room just finished so some things still missing (lamp in toilet, curtain on some windows, lights outside, etc)

IUTA glamping & farm is simply stunning. You are surrounded by beautiful lush green countryside with orange groves, olive trees and a stunning infinity pool. The yurt was beautiful and comfortable with everything you could need including coffee and drinks in the fridge. There's both an indoor and outdoor shower. The owners Elena and Giulio are super nice and helpful, they even gave me a lift back to town after my stay. Breakfast and lunch are vegetarian but they made an effort to make sure everything was vegan for me. Everything was fresh and delicious as they grow most things on site. The perfect place for a little relaxation.
It's worth noting that without a car it's a little tricky to get to but defintely worth the effort! It's a little expensive if you're on your own but worth it if you fancy spoiling yourself a bit :)

This was Glamping Next Level. Stunning, stylisch and cosy architecture surrounded by olive and orange trees. The tends and shared space is very clean, the chef is amazing and so is the food. In the Morning we got surprised by the lovely house dog and cat, which made the Glamping experience super authentic. Also the hosts were super friendly and easy going. Extraordinary, experience and stay!
