We had a great stay in this lovely house and garden! The house is in a perfect location to explore Arles, close to everything!
Thank you!

The property was spectacular with the 3 floors, covered outside garden area, and many get-away areas tucked into the space. The artwork is fabulous and interesting. The kitchen is easy to use and completely stocked with everything you might need with the exception of food which could be found at the local Carrefour or street market. The washer and washroom were convenient for a mid-travel clean up.
We walked everywhere and enjoyed great good, special museums, and the Rhone. One of our group rented a bike and followed the greenway to the Camarque area. We used a pedi-bike to try it out, too, but enjoyed the ease of getting around on foot. We came down from Paris by train and walked right to our villa by following the river.
Excellent place to stay but beware the mosquitoes at dusk. Friendly and helpful neighbors, shop keepers, and fellow tourists.
Plan to stay a year if you want to explore the unfolding 2000 plus years of history available to you within a stone's throw.
We want to come back again.

Lovely large house and garden with excellent facilities and perfect location. It is a bit hot in the bedrooms in August with only fans and no AC, but still highly recommended.

Great time
We stayed here a few years ago and looked forward to staying here again. Was a great location to hop in and out around Provence. It was loud at night but not enough to disturb sleep. The backyard with all its charm was lovely. Looking forward to returning!

Lovely property
We stayed here in late May with 4 adult family members and one infant, 9 months. It was such a lovely stay. There was ample space in the bedrooms and shared space. Having a set of bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor made you feel like you had your privacy , even while staying with others. A cute kitchen with all we needed. We loved the outdoor space, but felt that it if it were properly spruced up, this place would be 10 out of 5 stars. The location couldn't be beat.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Central city.
Nice apartment lacked a microwave but overall a nice property.? The upstairs bathroom only had a tub with a funky sprayer but the backyard was awesome. They need to upgrade their internet. Overall it was a great apartment.

Lovely Arles Vacation
The property and location were fabulous. A few minor hiccups with checking out as the local property manager was late arriving and we had to leave promptly for our train back to Paris. Window screens to keep out mosquitoes would have been

Historic house in the Old City
We were a group of seven who loved the situation of the house, in the historic, fascinating area of La Roquette. The house is well placed for exploring the lovely town of Arles by foot, and shops and restaurants are only a short walk away, The house itself has a great deal of character and a lovely garden. We particularly enjoyed drinking our aperitifs and eating dinner in the garden in the warm evenings.
We have the following concerns about the house:
- Photos online are rather misleading as they portray a more stylish interior than we experienced.
-Bathrooms: As there were 7 of us we appreciated the fact that there were two bathrooms. However the bathroom on the second floor was in a poor condition; it had dripping taps, a loose toilet seat and a hand held shower in the bath. This made daily showers difficult; standing in the bath holding the shower spray is not really a satisfactory solution and it was difficult to avoid flooding the floor!
-Storage: In the bedrooms on the second floor there was not enough room for storing clothes. One room had a very small wardrobe and no drawers. The other bedroom had no drawers. It isn’t satisfactory for a couple to spend 2 weeks without being able to unpack clothes from their suitcase
-Safety: One of our party got cut from some broken glass that had not been properly removed from a carpet. One of the electrical plugs protruded dangerously from a bedroom wall. One of the landing windows was broken with sharp edges, which might provide a hazard for children.
-General Maintenance: We had to clean some kitchen items before use as they were covered in dust and crumbs. The shower stall drain was plugged with a large accumulation of hair. The ironing board cover needed replacing.
-There was a TV on the small landing of the second floor but there was no seating so it was inconvenient to watch. There was no printer or BBQ.
- Mosquitoes: We had been assured by the owner that there were screens to mitigate the intrusion of mosquitoes. There were only two, one in a front bedroom and the other in a bathroom.
-Parking: Information about parking and instructions for vehicle access to the house would have been useful.
To sum up; it is obvious some maintenance is necessary to make this house the perfect holiday home. But having said all this, we did have a great holiday. We were a group of cousins and spouses from Guernsey, the UK and Canada and thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion

OASIS OF CALM IN THE CENTRE OF ARLES
Our family of 5 adults stayed as part of a special birthday celebration during the lovely weather in the middle of June.
After carefully manoeuvring around several very narrow streets we stopped for a few minutes outside the house, dropped our luggage off and found paid parking nearby. We did have to feed the meter every day until 6pm and on the Friday needed to move for the market next day. We were directed by the agent to free parking a little further away and it was no problem carrying our bags there when leaving.
The house itself is generously proportioned, artistically decorated and very well set up for a family group. The two upper floors each have two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom. Our daughter, who was the birthday girl claimed the pretty room with balcony overlooking the garden. Each room had its own character - all beds were very comfortable with lovely linens and the bathrooms (one with vintage tub, one with shower) contained lots of towels and organic soaps etc.
The kitchen dining area on the ground floor was a great place to congregate out of the hot sun and we cooked a couple of simple meals, though never did figure out the gas oven. Beautiful glasses, serving platters, pots and vases, and interesting artwork made us feel right at home and we loved living like locals, shopping at the markets and also the well stocked supermarkets.
Evenings in the garden (with an incense stick to repel mosquitoes, who also love the lush greenery) we enjoyed local wines especially the delicious pale rose, with a bowl of locally grown olives, while deciding which of the dozens of nearby eateries to walk out to.
Of course Arles is well known by tourists, but venture off the main square a bit and try some of the places the very attentive and knowledgeable owners recommend in their folder. We have our own favourite which is a 'popup' restaurant called Chardon. They have guest chefs who are young people from all over the world and there are always surprises on the menu.
We thoroughly recommend staying in this wonderful home - Merci beaucoup Patrice and Sylvie. We will return!

Perfect house
Perfect house. We rented Patrice and Sylvie's Beautiful house in La Roquette as a Canadian base for our family when we were in Arles for our daughter's wedding this September. There was plenty of space for the eight of us with four spacious and comfortable bedrooms ( with spectacular linens) on the second and third floors and two beautiful bathrooms. The main floor had ample living space and a well-equipped kitchen, but the hidden gem Is the lovely garden in the back which extends the living room. The house has tall ceilings, beautiful art and furnishings. We also loved the neighborhood which was in walking distance of everything and there was an excellent boulangerie just around the corner. The owners are responsive and gracious, it was a pleasure to speak with them as we made our arrangements. Camille who manages the house met us on the day of arrival and was available whenever we had questions.
On the day of our daughter's wedding, our entire family walked through the old streets to the Place de la République to her wedding ceremony, it was magical .
I would highly recommend this house and we would rent it again should we find ourselves back in Arles. Many many thanks Patrice and Sylvie's.

Central location with a charming Bohemian Vibe
We travelled to Arles the second week of June and had a wonderful time. My daughters love all of the art museums in and around Arles and absolutely loved the art hanging in this charming apartment. The courtyard complete with dining table and a fig tree was a lovely place to have dinner. Camille welcomed us with a bottle of wine and was incredibly helpful during our stay. The apartment was well located with a bakery right around the corner for those morning croissants and pastries. All of the sites were within walking distance. I wouldn't recommend a car as the streets are incredibly narrow, however there are parking lots a few blocks away. It was very warm during the time we were there so several of the rooms did get a little warm at night and opening windows let in unwanted mosquitos. My room had a wonderful ceiling fan and I was quite comfortable. My family of 8 enjoyed our time having relaxed dinners in this apartment as much as we did seeing the sites. I would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again someday.

Great house for families or a group
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this very nice home and community. The location is great with an easy ability to walk to the grocery store, gathering squares, shops/restaurants, sights, etc. The house is spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The market, especially Saturday, is abundant and varied with sundry food choices and textiles. It's an epicurean delight! The Arles community and people are welcoming and pleasant. A wonderful location and experience.

Beautiful, calm house, loved it!
An extremely charming and calm house comfortable and with very good positionning, a very charming garden and althought we came in February we were able to enjoy eating ouside which was just wonderful.
Arles is a cute city, very lively, espectially on market day. One end of the market is litterally 2 streets away and once you are on it, you'll spend half the day buying great food!
Highly recommended!

A Provençal Gem!
Traveled with a family of five adults. The house is just as beautiful as it is in the pictures! Every room is spacious with tall ceilings. The house was spotless, in good condition, and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the backyard with the covered sitting area (with ceiling fan to keep away bugs). I do recommend mosquito repellent for August weather. The hosts were extremely helpful and gladly recommended wines, food, and restaurants to try including a delightful 'Le Gibolin' within close walking distance. There is a charming patisserie a block and a half down the street from the house with delicious croissants, pains au chocolate, and baguettes. We stayed in Arles for our home base in Provence, having rented a car. Free public parking is available about three blocks away. I highly recommend this house!
