About this house rental

The cottage is located in the heart of the landing beaches and the lands of William the Conqueror, ideally located between Ouistreham and Arromanches, between Le Mont Saint Michel, Saint Malo, Cherbourg and Deauville, Honfleur, near Caen, pleasant historic town and very commercial. In a quiet environment, 50m from the countryside and 800m from the beach, this fully restored 120m2 house has a 200m² enclosed garden, two terraces and private parking.
Seduced by the calm of the countryside and the proximity of the sea, you have a cozy and warm house, with 4 bedrooms, a very equipped kitchen opening onto a large living room, a garage and free wifi in all rooms.
The entrance gate gives onto the private, enclosed parking with its two gates for 2 cars, the garage and the 18m2 south terrace with its garden furniture that can accommodate 8 people.
In the garage you will find the outdoor seats, the washing machine and the dryer, a fridge-freezer combination, a freezer, all the maintenance equipment. A new boiler ensures the heating of the house in low and medium season.
From the front door, you enter the living room and the living room easily accommodating 8 people with its sofa, its armchairs, its large screen TVC and its stereo, its functional fireplace, its very large table.
The living room opens directly onto the 30m2 rear terrace and the garden.
The beautiful adjoining kitchen is very well equipped with household appliances, mixed pyrolysis multifunction cooker, extractor hood, dishwasher, fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker, robots, toaster, kettle ... and with cooking utensils and will offer all lovers enough to prepare good meals. It also gives directly onto the terrace with its table and outdoor seating and onto the garden.
The garden is closed and planted with its shelter and its large barbecue fireplace.
We also find on the ground floor toilets and the staircase which gives access to the three double bedrooms equipped with new bedding and to the large bathroom.
The first bedroom has 140x190 bedding, a bedside table with lamp and alarm clock, an armchair, it overlooks the garden. For the storage of personal belongings, use the large dressing room in the bathroom.
The large second bedroom has two 80x200 twin bedding to make 160x200 bedding, a bedside table with clock radio, a large screen TVC and a closet. It also gives garden side
The large third bedroom has 140x190 bedding with two bedside tables, a clock radio and a large closet.
The bathroom is 12 m2 with its spa bath, its cabinet with two sinks and its huge double Italian shower, its large dressing room, its stools, and its chest of drawers, it is one of the criteria for choosing the gîte.
A landing gives access to the parental suite from above. This large space of 40m2 offers all the comfort with a large bedding of 160x200, bedside tables, a large dressing room, a library, a workspace with a computer, a hi-fi TV set, a bathroom with Italian shower, double furniture sink and toilet.

We traveled to Normandy to visit the landing beaches and sites with friends. The house was great exactly what we needed for the 8 of us, there was plenty of room and we were able to walk down to the beach nightly, which was great. I would recommend this house overall.

Our family of 4 stayed for 5 nights in this charming home. Our hoatess was available to help with anything we needed. Thw location was perfect for us, as we were there to tour the beaches of Normandy. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful home in a stunning location!

What a beautifully appointed cottage in an ideal location along the Normandy coast. We stayed at the cottage with our three young children, and one set of grandparents for five days following a trip to Disneyland - it was the perfect setup for our group of seven. The rooms were all of a generous size and well appointed. Our four and five year old daughters loved the children’s room with the twin beds and sticker decals on the wall; they especially enjoyed the bookshelf full of Disney books! Whilst they do not speak French, they very much enjoyed flipping through the books on a daily basis. The upstairs loft bedroom is very large and has a lovely light, airy feel to it, including the en suite. The remaining two bedrooms are also of a good size and were quite comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with every kind of kitchen utensil one could imagine needing, from coffee makers to tea kettles, and every baking, cooking, and serving dish one could desire. The lounge was comfortable and cosy, and the dining space, with room for eight around the table was fantastic. The bathrooms, especially the one on the first floor, are very well appointed and lovely. The outside space was a great space for our children to run around, and safe as well with the gates at the driveway and footpath. The front courtyard would have been a fabulous place to have a glass of wine in the evening, but the weather never quite cooperated enough for us to use it. The location of the cottage was truly fabulous - an easy ten minute walk to the beach and the large grocery store where we got our daily provisions. All of the D-Day sites are within easy driving distance and this cottage was the perfect base to return to each evening. We didn’t actually meet the owners of the cottage, but all of our communication with them via email was positive and friendly. They were very responsive and helpful in every regard. A neighbour, Nadia, was present to greet us at the house and show us around - she was lovely and incredibly helpful. We blew a fuse during our visit (helpful hint: don’t run the washing machine and dryer at the same time!) and Nadia immediately came over, despite it being nearly 9 pm on a weeknight. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at this cottage and would most definitely recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, comfortable cottage to stay in, right in the heart of beautiful Normandy!
