Impeccably clean, artistic decoration and very comfortable. It’s in the center of town, very well connected by subway or bus. Gwladys was very helpful and gracious. I enjoyed my stay very much. People with mobility issues should be aware there are two flights of stairs.

If you are looking for an apt. where you can sleep soundly at night with the windows opened this would be it. The exception is June 21 (Fête de la Musique) when an open-air concert is held a stone's throw away from the building and the sound is deafening. This apt. is unpretentious, super clean and functional. It has everything you might need except for a washing machine. It is ideally located in Rennes on an upscale pedestrian mall in a renovated 18th century building with loads of character. There is no elevator but it's only on the 2nd floor (3rd floor by North American standards). Wifi is reliable. Bed is comfortable. The owner is quick to respond to a rental request. She is helpful, accommodating and flexible. Although she couldn't be there to greet me when I arrived her mother filled in for her and went above and beyond to explain everything I needed to know and to make sure I was settled in. She gave me a tour of the neighbourhood and pointed out places of interest and even took me to a store where I could find a particular item I was looking for. Also, the owner was kind enough to arrange for a cab on the morning of my departure because my phone wasn't working.

Good location, nice design, silent and clean. Only one note: steep ladder, older people with suitcases can be hard.
