Great location. We had a conference to attend in the area and the location was perfect.

So many activities for a pretty cheap price. Beautiful scenery and nature. Lake is gorgeous!

Wonderful time at this chalet. We have stayed many times in Innsbrook, but by fat this host goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable.

Quick birthday getaway to our favorite hidden gem in Missouri. Can’t say enough about Innsbrook. Chalet had everything we needed - large master bath on first floor. Big plus versus most of the other chalets in area. Larry was very accessible leading up to and during our stay. First time staying on Aspen lake so it was nice to sit down on the large dock and take in all of Mother Nature. Highly recommend staying at this property.

We stayed at Larry and Bev’s cottage for our annual, kid-free girls weekend and we couldn’t have been happier. The cottage is beautiful, clean, well-stocked with flatware, cookware, etc, and sleeps 6 adults comfortably. Larry went above and beyond to make sure we took advantage of all the goodies the cabin affords—nearly 360 views of the lake, wood burning stove, and even a visit on our last day from the eagle that frequents the property.
We loved it there and would definitely stay there again. It’s a true jewel!

Stayed here with family in mid-October. The cabin was nice and quiet, and plenty of space for group of 6. We enjoyed spending time on the deck fishing and taking the canoe and kayak out. We brought bird food and enjoyed all the birding activity on the large deck and around the area. Hosts were very nice and we had no issues.

A very beautiful location! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay! The owners, Bev and Larry, are wonderful!

My family had a fabulous stay at Larry and Bev’s chalet. Comfy beds, well-appointed kitchen, quiet, with fun lakeside activities. We caught fish off the dock and enjoyed the amazing amenities at Innsbrook. We definitely hope to return!

Is as stated hard to get into but that is an understatement as is the path to the dock.
The bed is close to impossible to get into. - I am 5’5” and it came up to my hip (2” from waist)- having said that the view of the lake and deck wonderful

The communication from the owners was excellent. The house was clean and had an amazing view and everything we could have needed was provided. We really enjoyed our stay! This house was just what we were looking for.

A perfect cabin for a perfect getaway. We planned this trip months ago with the kids as a surprise for my husband's birthday. We looked at many locations, but this A-frame cabin stood out the most for us, especially with the kids, and the fact that it had a golf cart was a huge bonus. A week before the trip we had a life-changing event as my husband suffered a heart attack and we didn't know if the trip was even possible. I was in constant communication with Larry and Bev and they were so understanding and helpful with everything. We got the clearance to go ahead as my husband recovered quickly and the surprise was a great success and exactly what he needed that week. We swam in the lake/creek, we grilled, relaxed, played board games that were provided, everything that we needed was there. It was such an awesome experience that many of our friends requested info. Larry and Bev were amazing at communication even though they were on their own vacation, they still contacted us if things were going well.
If you are looking for a nature filled getaway, this cabin on the lake is your answer. Great place, great hosts. 5 stars all the way.

Our family vacation was great! The property was perfect. Plenty to do inside if we needed, but we spent most of our time in the lake kayaking, fishing from the dock, and sitting on the beach just down the road. The house was great with everything you could ask for, even labels on the lights.
4.8
We enjoyed our time at Innsbrook. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway so that our family could have some time together before my son left for military training and that is exactly what we got.
Correspondence with the owners was great! They were responsive and answered all of our questions. They provided us with a lot of great information.
The housekeepers could have done a little better job of cleaning, but I am a neat freak so I notice where things can be cleaner a little more than others.
The walk to the dock was a workout so I wouldn't recommend it for someone that is not in good physical shape. We did really enjoy spending a lot of time at the dock. We enjoyed using the kayaks, as well.
Loved that we could take our dogs too!
We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Larry was an excellent host, responsive and provided extensive detail ahead of time. However, the pictures of the property seem to be severely outdated, which, while sufficient, didn't meet our expectations coming into the house. It's true the property sleeps eight, but know this is a very cramped eight. The photos of the interior seem spacious when it's actually maximizing camera angles.
First, we selected this property because of the beautiful deck. The photos make it seem nice and new when it's quite the opposite. It's rickety and left us a little uneasy about our being on it simultaneously (we had a group of 7). The railing didn't seem stable. The walkways had nails sticking out and loose boards. The stairs leading up to the deck were not properly anchored and wobbled when you neared the top. This is not a toddler-friendly property.
Inside, the furnishings were sufficient but rustic. Some parts of the flooring feel like they're about to give. The sunroom was one of those spaces, the kitchen the other.
The hosts do provide kayaks, oars, life vests, and plenty of household amenities (towels, glasses, fully stocked kitchen) to make for a pleasant stay. The lake was beautiful, we kayaked, swam, and grilled all weekend. We will definitely visit Innsbrook again, and had a great experience overall, though I feel like the property would be better suited with some updated photographs so you know what you're getting.

The house was full of things to do and everything you need. We were able to fish off the dock almost everyday, cruise around on the kayaks, and use the resort amenities. We couldn't ask for a better location for a lake vacation. As a bonus the lake is incredibly quiet during the week. Almost no one is around.

We had a great long weekend trip and were able to enjoy time with our family both indoors and outdoors as the weather couldn’t make up its mind. The fire pit, dock and canoe were great when it wasn’t raining and the chalet was comfortable and cozy when it was wet outside.
4.8
Nice Property, 1 bedroom on 1st level was nice with bathroom
2nd level had two bedrooms, 1 bathroom and extra beds
Overall, worked well for group of seven.

The house is great and clean. The only struggle was getting the cars out of the gravel driveway.
Beautiful scenery through out the area!

Larry was easy to talk to. Plenty of information about the house and the property. Fishing was excellent. Will definitely go back.

The property and the hosts were magnificent. The house is cozy with wonderful views. The golf cart made you feel like a local experiencing the property. The deck has stellar views and the lake access is wonderful. 11/10 would recommend.

My wife and her friends from middle school had a reunion of sorts and the space was terrific for a girls weekend. The communication with the owner was excellent. Beautiful views and scenery all around. The house was clean and a very comfortable space to relax. Loved it here and would definitely like to stay here again! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time during our 3 night stay at the property. It is located on a great little finger off Aspen lake referred to as Charrette creek. It was perfect for fishing and swimming. You could even take the kayak and/or canoe supplied on the property out to the main lake if you’d like. The view from the deck was beautiful. The owner, Larry, was great at communicating both prior and during our stay. They even had left us a bottle of wine and stuff to make s’mores on check in. A few things to make note of: it is listed as pet friendly, and there is lingering pet hair. Made my feel right at home. Lol The walk down to the dock is very steep as some others have pointed out. My mother was with us and one trip down and back up a day is about all she could do. There is not a continuous railing to hold on to down the hill either and it was quite overgrown with brush. I will just advise that this is not the place for your elderly family and friends. The deck has a couple of steep stairs splitting it up as well and even the “ramp” down from the driveway to the cabin isn’t the easiest of walks. All in all, it was a positive experience for us. We saw a multitude of deer, caught a pretty 4 lbs catfish, and floated out on the lake for hours. You can tell that the hosts are no strangers to guests as everything in the house has instructions on how to use it. Very helpful.

I just want to start out by saying the owner is very nice and responsive to any concerns or questions you have during your stay. However there could be some improvement. Upon our arrival which is during the winter there is long steep ramp that leads to the chalet. The location may not be easily accessible to the elderly. It’s pretty much on the side of a mountain. The gravel road is super steep and I’m glad I brought my 4 wheel drive vehicle as I can see a car having issues coming up the road getting stuck. Now back to the ramp. It’s winter. The ramp was covered with a sheet of ice as well as the deck and other ramp to the lake and could of easily resulted in injury. . We had to walk along the side of the ramp in the leaves to get to the entrance of the chalet which didn’t make it easy for unloading our belongings we brought. I searched for ice melt then none was to be found. I had to drive back to the town to buy some. But not before a lady that does laundry came to pick some up and slipped and fell! She was okay but still this could be avoided. Now to the chalet. The view is beautiful! Location is beautiful. But I think the pictures on here could be updated without filters as in reality it’s more rustic than it appears in the photos. Now to the cleanliness. With the cleaning fee we pay for I expect it to be clean upon arrival. There were no trash bags in the cans and some random juice packs with spillage in the bottom of the cans. There was a wet dirty rag hanging on the kitchen sink no clean kitchen towels or cleaner to clean up as you go so I had to use the old dirty towel the cleaning ppl left behind. The bedding wasn’t washed which it should be between each stay with covid. You can smell it and tell it was not washed probably for a while which grossed me out. Towels were clean. But as for the overall cleanliness I think the owner should probably reevaluate his cleaning company. They should of alerted of them of the ice situation as well before we arrived. Not just come in make dirty beds sweep and leave. We were supposed to check out Thursday but ended up leaving Wednesday afternoon due to the cold. My girls were cold at night. And understandable it is a cabin with huge windows we used the heat and the wood stove as well as a space heater but at night was still too cold. We did enjoy the views and spent time together as a family so that was nice. But definitely could use some improvement.
