About this apartment rental
This third floor 3 bedroom/2 bath condo is in a 13 unit beachfront complex just south of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye and has an amazing view over the beach out to the sea from its large covered veranda/balcony.

The veranda is right off of the large living/dining area, which also has a queen sofabed and lots of comfy seating. Adjacent to that is your fully equipped kitchen with counter seating.

You can enter this top floor condo either via a door off this hallway or via a door off the dining room.

Sunset Beach Resort is located 2.5 miles/4 km south of the town core, which means you are away from the crowds yet still within easy reach of everything. In the neighborhood we have:
--Suya Tour operator (1 minute walk)
--Marin’s, a small grocery store (2 minute walk)
--A few good restaurants (4-15 minute walk)
And there are more shopping, restaurant & entertainment options on the way to & in town, which is not far away!
The Belize Barrier Reef, the longest in the western hemisphere, is very close to shore making the area ideal for scuba diving, snorkeling and fishing; other water sports are also popular!
It's easy to take a day trip to the mainland to visit Maya sites such as Altun Ha and Lamanai; or to observe some of the 500 species of birds found in Belize and/or catch a glimpse of monkeys, manatees and crocodiles in the wild!
Once booked, I’ll send you a website link with further information on the condos, the resort, and the area. And of course I’m happy to answer any questions at all via email or phone!
In addition, we can help with island flights, golf carts, tours, etc, plus of course while you are there our on site staff can help with any questions or issues that may arise.
An onsite staff person will meet you for check-in & to provide you with a key; we will need to know your island arrival plans (& would be happy to help with the logistics!) in advance in order to facilitate this.

First I would like to say thanks to the host(Barb) who is so helpful with planning your whole stay! She gave us lots of useful info, and while we didn't plan everything through her she was so helpful.
The condo's were nice, plenty of room, and we loved the views from our balconies. We rented the whole C building for our group of 16 people. We took advantage of the private dock with excursion pick ups, and water taxi outings. The condo is close enough to downtown to get there quickly with a golf cart, and it isn't a bad walk if you decide to walk the beach into town(about 20 minutes). There are a couple restaurants really close to the resort, and a small convenience store across the street if needed. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here with our friends. The condo was amazing. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying our morning coffee, looking at the ocean, or laying in the hammock taking an afternoon nap. We even renewed our vows on the beach at the resort. We enjoyed the pool and dock as well. We were able to relax and have a fantastic time. When we return we will definitely make sure to rent here again.

This place was nice. The pictures describe it accurately. It's on the water but the beach isn't very usable. Also the water on this side of the island it's as nice as the north side. We didn't end up swimming much and it was very shallow with a lot of sea grass.
The condo was very clean, Juan Carlos was wonderful to work with day to day and was great to chat with. They also provided a wonderful list of places to go, eat, shop etc. All of that was wonderful.
The downfalls... the beds were very hard, if you like a VERY firm bed then this will be fine for you. All five of us had a tough time sleeping. The dogs from across the street (very sweet and friendly) would stay on our stairs at night and bark very loudly at night and the wee hours of the morning. None of us could sleep past 5:30am because of this.
We received an email about a week ahead of time saying that there is a chance we could loose power or water during the week because of the "growing pains of the island". We lost power the last day we were there and the condo got very hot with no a/c and the stuff in the fridge had to be thrown out. The second to last day we lost water just in our condo because of a leak. If I had known this ahead of time I would have considered looking some where else.
All and all it was a great place but I don't think we would book this again because of the beach, the beds and the dogs.

Beautiful spot
We had a lovely time in this condo. The location was perfect for us. It was quiet and peaceful but also close to restaurants and other amenities. The condo was clean and had everything
we needed. Everyone that we dealt with before our arrival and during our stay was helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend this property.

We had a great time on Ambergris. The condo was only a few minutes from town and had a lot of amenities. Juan Carlos and Rosa LaRosa were extremely helpful in booking inter country flights, snorkel trips, and general tips for traveling around the island. The AC went out half way thru our stay, but the staff worked to correct the problem.
General notes as a first timer:
1. Food and Drinks are about the same cost as US. There’s a small store one block up that had most general items (food, drinks, etc)
2. Snorkeling at Hol Chan was so fun we went twice. It’s an unforgettable experience that I’d recommend.
3. You can easily swim and snorkel off the end of the pier, since it’s only 5-6ft deep. Don’t mind some seaweed on the beach. The pool was also very nice and clean.
4. Kayaks and bicycles are available on site.
5. The roads are rough but are ok for the golf carts.
6. We felt very safe although some areas appeared run down.

Gorgeous condo, wonderful staff, great amenities and what a view!
Rent this place.
If you are looking for a really great place to stay near San Pedro, you will not be disappointed.
The condo itself is gorgeous and spacious. The patio is huge and the view is awesome. The kitchen is better equipped than my own. Super clean and cosy.
But the best part was the staff. Crystal made our dinners and OMG SO DELICIOUS (we still talk about her curried fish). Super reasonable and it was so nice to come home to dinner ready. And she’s just lovely. Her husband Juan-Carlos Managed the property and he was so kind. He arranged a driver for me when I decided that I didn’t want to rent a car. He spent a long time organizing it for me and it was greatly appreciated.
Barbara also arranged for the golf cart rental and our snorkeling trips. We felt very well taken care of.
The amenities are also great. The pool is really nice bikes and kayaks and a lot of places to lounge. Honestly this location was the best part of our trip.
It’s also not far from town and you go past the best roadside BBQ and homemade guacamole,
You won’t regret staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo on the south end of the island. The property is well maintained and the unit was very nice. There was easy access into town with a rented golf cart, arranged in advance. We arrived after 7 in the evening but the golf cart was there and the concierge met us at the taxi to carry our luggage upstairs and give us information about the property. The next day we arranged 2 different tours (snorkeling and a plane tour of the Blue Hole) through the concierge and those were both exceptional experiences. Other recommendations: Belize Chocolate Company, Wild Mangos, the Split on Caye Caulker, Palapa Bar and Grill (where we saw a large sting ray swimming under the dock), Caprice at the Holiday Hotel, and Athens Gate Beach Resort a 5-minute walk from the condo. We bought delicious fruit from vendors on the way into town. No plastic straws in sight and no litter on the beaches that I could see, except for the plant life. It was a memorable vacation that I would recommend to anyone looking for a variety of experiences from exploration to relaxing.

Great view from the 3rd floor!! Complex was just the right size, so very relaxing and quiet.
Sunset Beach resort was awesome!! Very clean and relaxing complex. We enjoyed playing horseshoe's and cornhole on the beach.. Condo was very nice, clean and well stocked. Easy access to the market right around the corner which was very well stocked and we were able to do a lot of our shopping there without having to go into town which was great!! Also restaurants that were in walking distance or short golf cart ride which we loved!!
Juan Carlos the concierge was awesome!! He was very informative about the island and recommended activities to do and site seeing. We did the snorkeling and beach BBQ which was amazing, then we did the catamaran day trip with snorkeling at shark alley and then to Caye Caulker. This was amazing we saw spotted sea rays and swam with the nurse sharks and then had a great lunch!! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating.
We had great weather the entire 9 days we were on the island, a nice breeze each day which kept it very comfortable and enjoyable.

This condo had everything we needed and Juan Carlos (JC) did an awesome job recommending things to do, answering all of our questions and booking our snorkel trips. The reef was beautiful! We saw so many different types of fish and other marine life. All the snorkel trips are guided which is really cool because they pointed out things we would have missed. The resort was quiet with only 12 units but still had fun playing volleyball in the pool with other guests. Food in San Pedro is amazing but best meal was when JC's wife came to the condo and made dinner for us. Missed the waves rolling onto the beach (they break at the reef) but the snorkeling made up for it! Shopping at the store a block away was a nice bonus. Golf carts are a must-let Rosa set it up for you. We'll be back!

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet in a noisy world!!!!
The property is well kept up. There is always someone cleaning the grounds or the units. It is away from San Pedro so it is unspoiled tropic paradise. We saw a resident ray and fish around and under the dock. There are comfortable clean chaise lounges and hammocks around and on our balcony. Our unit was clean, spacious, had all of the necessities, and a great view. The grocery store was across the street for daily groceries and homemade tortillas. The trip to San Pedro for restaurants and shopping was 20 minutes of a bumpy, dusty, gas powered "golf cart" ride however!
4.7
OK place
The location is very quiet and the actual condo is in good shape and a nice place to stay. Need more towels! If you go here bring extra towels for the beach and for showering or you will be having them laundered all the time. I wish there was a washer and dryer available in the unit or on the site. The pool is week and the little store out on the road does not have much in the way of food. The two restaurants are great but there is no place to buy breakfast unless you want to drive 20 minutes into town. We had a great time in Belize. This place did what we wanted it to do which is having a place to crash after we spent all day diving. The diving is great!

Nice place ! (Sunset Beach C3)
If you would like a nice place just outside of San Pedro then look no further !
Sunset Beach condos were a fantastic location for our group :)
A short golf cart ride into town when ever we wanted, a great condo, a fantastic beach / dock to snorkel from, and a small pool too !!
Barb, our liason, with the unit was able to provide us with loads of information on what to do, things to bring and fun to be had.
Juan Carlos, concierge at the location, was always able to help us out with any questions as well as reservations for excursions !
If you are looking for a laid back holiday location then this is the place for you :)

Very nice vacation experience
Our seven days in the C3 unit at the Sunset Beach Condos were just great. A beautiful and peaceful beach setting close enough to the town of San Pedro for shopping and night life, yet far enough away to avoid the related noise and commotion. Clean and very attractive buildings, rooms and facilities. There is a Suya Tour Office just across the way that offers snorkeling, diving, boating, fishing and every other imaginable water sport, along with tours to nearby Caye Calker the Belize mainland. Though we ventured into town for most of our meals and food shopping, we appreciated the convenience of a small nearby general store and a couple of close restaurants (the Lonestar Grill and the Cozy Coconuts) . We especially enjoyed carry out lunches offered by a wonderfully friendly family operating the Happi Deli just a block away from the resort. Speaking of friendly, we found the condo property caretaker (Chapin) to be very industrious with maintaining the property and very helpful with bike and kayak checkouts and providing generally useful information about the resort and island surroundings. All in all, we found our stay to be all we had hoped for.
4.7
Great Vacation
We loved the amenities provided with the property. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating.

Just What We Were Looking For!
Beautiful condo. Very clean, spacious, very comfortable. Even better than the pictures show. Top floor with amazing ocean view! Loved coffee on the veranda each morning overlooking the beach and the beautiful Caribbean sea. Master bed is extremely comfortable. Grocery store, three restaurants within easy walking distance. Suya Tours is located directly across the road where you can arrange all of the activities you might want to do....fishing, snorkeling, etc. Barb and Judy both were so helpful in making sure all our questions were answered and arranged transportation. Manager located onsite and very secure condo complex. Absolutely love this place and are planning to return! Jerry and Roxane
