There is also a 2nd bedroom on each level making each level a retreat for each family. Five of the 6 bedrooms have their own private bath. With the 3 levels of lakefront living to spread out, there are multiple eating and sitting areas and a large family game
room, a large 60 inch screen TV, a pool table, a Foosball table, board games and even a separate kitchenette for added convenience. It's a great place for the kids on rainy days and the big guys on any day. Attention has been given to every detail including a full bath that opens directly onto the deck for swimmers coming out of the lake or for those just needing a quick pitstop while lounging on the deck.

and pier for docking boats and jet skis, sun decks to fish and swim from, or just get that perfect tan. And don't worry about the little ones because all the decks on the house as well as near the water have locking gates for safety.

This location was perfect for our family as it is located a half mile from my sisters home and location of our dads 90th bday celebration… we spent very little time here :( and look forward to return visit so we can enjoy Lake Norman :)

My family and I have stayed with Patty for the last 2 fall vacations. Patty is AMAZING. Great communicator and always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay relaxing and stress free 😊. The home is well equipped. Had Thanksgiving dinner and surprisingly the home had everything we needed. The home itself sell’s family and comfort. Also fishing off the docket while the sunsets is so beautiful and once again RELAXING.
If you rent from Patty you won’t go wrong 👍

Perfect house and location for a family or group of friends to enjoy Lake Norman!

We had ten of us coming to Lake Norman for a week's family vacation and the house was ideal for what we needed...right on the lake, plenty of room, and even a split level to give the groups some occasional privacy. We would definitely recommend!

We all had a wonderful time. The house was perfect, fit all of us comfortably. The lake was beautiful. Patty was very responsive.
Our only issue was with the cleaning. There was trash left under some the beds, the rug in the main bathroom was wet and had a very weird dog pee smell to it, and most of the towels had weird smells, even after washing.
Other than that, if we get the chance, we would definitely return to this house.

Great place for our out of town family and friends who came in for our daughter’s wedding. Wish we had more time to enjoy it. Plenty of room to spread out. New living room furniture was very nice. Easy access to the lake. Patty was very prompt in answering our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Patty was kind, helpful, organized, and easy to communicate with prior to and during our stay. The location of the house wasn't bad. It's not super close to things, but the drive to get to stores and such was about 15-20 mins. We found a few nice parks/playgrounds for things to do with kids. The drive to Mountain Creek Park in Sherrill's Ford was worth it-great playground, pickleball courts, picnic tables, hiking trails, etc. The yard was big with room for kids to play outside and we even brought a portable net to set up to play badminton and volleyball and had plenty of space. The fire pit was a nice addition for things for us to do. Two very large TVs in common spaces were great. The extra refrigerator in the basement was super helpful for a large group with a lot of food and beverages.
The house itself needs a lot of TLC. We liked the actual space and convienence of the house itself-having six bedrooms on three different floors and six bathrooms was wonderful with a large group. But a lot of the house has gotten worn down by the elements and by guests. We did not have enough towels, both sets of washers and dryers either didn't work at all or took triple the amount of time, there was mold in the one basement bathroom, almost every blind in the house had broken pieces, there was a broken vase in a bedroom, and the furniture is just feeling very used and tired. Lots of wear and tear. Lots of stains on carpets. There were cracks in multiple places on countertop in kitchen which can trap bacteria. Things just felt very tired/used/dirty/outdated. The living room couches and coffee table, breakfast nook table and chairs, the kitchen counter and bar stool chairs, and the dining room floral tablecloth with cheap plastic cover on top make the house feel old in style and unclean. It just makes you feel like the money you're spending for the week should be going towards repairing and replacing some of the items around the house.
We picked this house because it was "in the middle" of PA and Fl for family to get together for the holidays. We also went with it bc reviews were all good. I'm not sure we would choose this exact house again in the future unless we knew some of the maintenance issues were addressed and some things were replaced.

I spoke with the owner a few weeks before check in and I asked if I can store my jet ski for 3 weeks at the location, I offered to
Pay to leave it on the property (the owner insisted it was no issue and no
Payment was needed for the jet ski) the day prior to leaving I followed all the instructions and started the dishwasher and laudtry prior to leaving. The garbage was taking out to the can. The owner called me a few hours after departure and said the house was a mess, I have rented over 50 times from this site and others and never have I had an issue. I asked her if she could send pictures. She told me I had to overnight her a check for $150 or she will give me a bad review. I again asked for
Pictures and she refused stating the house was cleaned now by the cleaning crew.
Ultimately she stated there
Was a bowl left on the sink downstairs and a bag of garbage left on the back porch. She went on to throw the jet ski in my face and how it caused all types of issues for her. She was very unethical asking for the payment to be overnighted and would not send me the pictures. Also she advised
Me to go through her direct next time and not the site. I was very disappointed by the major overreaction and demand for money . I would not recommend renting from her ever.

Unfortunately I had to have major surgery the week prior to this booking and my friends stayed without me. I know they enjoyed their long weekend there.

I’m normally a Disney World vacation person. I was worried I’d be bored. This was the best vacation! The house was absolutely perfect! Spent the days in the lake or on the dock fishing. So relaxing. Thanks so much!

We have been coming to Lake Norman for last 10 years or so with the family.
This is the 3rd time we have rented from Patty and her husband.
They are wonderful people.
And their homes are beautiful.
We will be back.
If you get the chance to enjoy this home. Take it.
The accommodations, location on the lake and owner hospitality are second to none.

The house was clean, the property close enough to town for essentials but far enough away from the noise of the city. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed the peacefulness of sitting on deck and looking at lake. Owners communicated all information to locate, enter, and other essentials. I would stay here again. Thanks Patty for sharing your home!

This house worked out great for us. My cousins were able to rent the house next door and we were able to gather at both places. Plenty of space indoors and out, sufficiently stocked kitchen, hosts were very responsive to our requests.

This was a great house for our extended family Easter gathering. We had a great time sitting and playing on the multiple porches, and appreciated the fact that they had locks to keep the babies in! The kitchen was a good size and open to the living spaces so that we could still enjoy time together when it was our turn to cook. We really appreciated the communication from the host, from the time we booked to check out. When questions arose, she was quick to respond. Although our visit was short, and it wasn't the right time of year for us to take full advantage of the lake, the house is situated on a beautiful little cove that would be perfect for a lake vacation. We did enjoy dangling our toes and lounging by the water! This was a perfect spot if you're looking for a home away from home!

Our group of 15 had a great time. Patty was very communicative. Home is large enough that we could split off into groups without getting into each others way when it came to playing games, watching movies, or just enjoying each other's company. Thank you for a lovely weekend! ♥

This house is large with 6 bedrooms. It is nice that almost all bedrooms have their own bathroom and they are divided 2 to each level. It has a nice large circle drive with plenty of parking for multiple cars/boat trailers. Note the house sleeps 20 but you would need to bring sheets, etc. for that to work. There are 2 roads into the house, definitely follow Patty's (our host) directions for the better way. The house looks as depicted in the pictures. You can tell that renters have caused some wear and tear and it needs some maintenance. One of the beds had a broken post and numerous lights were burned out. Patty shared that maintenance had not been able to get in due to high bookings and was scheduled for our week until we booked. The kitchen is very well stocked but a bit disorganized. Our host, Patty, was very responsive to questions and concerns. We had a lot of questions due to bringing our boat so this was appreciated. The house is in a quieter section of Lake Norman which was very relaxing. If you are looking to go out to lunch/dinner regularly via land or lake, then staying further south might be more convenient.

We had a fantastic family vacation.
