About this villa rental

Stansbury sits on the pristine waters of Oyster Bay in Gulf St Vincent, located on the Yorke Peninsula, a little over two hours drive from Adelaide.
With beautiful sandy beaches, new playground and plenty of barbeque areas, Hotel, cafe, post office, hairdresser, butcher, chemist, petrol station, IGA, museum, information centre, golf course and tennis it is the perfect destination for a family holiday.
Only a short walk from the Villas will find you on the beach, jetty, boat ramp or main street of Stansbury. It is a great base to explore the lovely coast and country towns of Southern YP and the rugged Innes National Park with its surf beaches, cliffs and many shipwrecks.
A short drive from Stansbury will get you to Edithburgh, Yorketown and Port Vincent.
Relax in the comfort of 1 of our 4 fully self contained holiday units, great for the weekend away or a group holiday while having your own privacy in your own unit.
Each unit has 2 bed rooms with a double bed in one room and a single bed and a set of bunk beds in the other room.
Lounge, dining, full kitchen, and shower and toilet, LCD TV, DVD player, split system reverse cycle air-conditioner,
pillows, quilts and blankets are provided, you will need to bring your own linen.
Linen can be supplied at an additional cost.
No smoking inside.
No pets.

There is under cover parking, shared Laundry, under cover BBQ area and a shaded fish cleaning area.

Pleasantly surprised with unit, nicely presented, overall would definitely recommend and will definitely book again in the future, unit was well equipped with everything guests would need,just not sure if the owners are aware that the Toaster did not work , but overall a five star stay

Love stansbury and Yorke Peninsula and these units are cheap for a few nights stay but they need abit of TLC.The toaster doesn't work properly it's broken,and the place just needs a general tidy up. I nearly drove right past the place as your sign is covered with vines and the bricks in the carport are all busted up.little things but it needs the work. Still you get what you pay for and it is very budget conscious

As two single friends, we chose this place as it was described as a 2bedroom unit. This is not exactly accurate as the main bed is not separated by any walls from the living area. On the plus side, it was quiet as it appeared we were the only people staying there and easy walking distance to the main street/hotel. On the negative, we didn’t receive any information about checkin prior to arrival which would have been helpful, the sofa was extremely uncomfortable and the toaster only worked by holding the knob down. Also was disappointed that the proprietor (presumably) entered the unit while we were not there without informing us either before or after. It was obvious because for some reason the kitchen stools had been swapped over while we were out. A few little adjustments could make this place a whole lot better.

The units are exactly as shown in pictures, but I don’t agree that everything is ‘easy’ walking distance. There is a hill down to the main town shops with no footpath, that I didn’t fancy walking, especially at night. Having said that, it is just a few minutes drive down to shops, pier and Dalrymple pub that was apparently voted best country pub 2 years running. The food at the pub was great. Also, worth noting, the beds were very comfortable. One thing though, there are no condiments, coffee or tea etc provided. I would have at least liked some salt and pepper, but we managed. Otherwise the kitchen and external areas provided everything we needed. Peter is a great host and quickly responds to all messages.

Prompt and easy communication with owner. Easy to find location. Keys easy to locate. Fridge and hot water was already switched in (thanks to owner). Covered parking. Aside from the lounge(couch), unit was clean and tidy. Next door tenants was a bit loud but we endured. Car parks are not numbered, but we took whichever spot was open. Overall we were happy with the place and will be back in future.

The villa was very neat & had all the facilities we needed. Full kitchen facilities, comfortable bed with plenty of blankets.Bbq amenities were very handy. Close walking distance to everything. An item was left behind after we vacated & the owner was quick to advise & arrangements made for swift collection. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Clean and comfortable. No Power Points by the main bed for charging devices. Other Power Points in awkward spots. Towel rail in bathroom was broken. Very efficient heating! Cheap and cheerful, can recommend

Could do with a bit of upgrading. Queen bed would be better than the double provided. Stove was very old and didnt work well. Wouldn't recommend using the bbq couldnt light the end burner to cook crabs. Filthy butt tins on the table being non smokers did not appreciate that they had not been cleaned. No Wi-Fi as advertised. Outdoor settings need TLC.
