We loved our stay in Hatch! This modern log home was the perfect place for our kids and grandkids. Big open grass lawn and open loft upstairs gave ample room for games and gatherings. The view is spectacular and sitting on the front porch for sunrise was amazing.Large kitchen with all the things needed to cook and prepare meals made it easy to eat in.We will definitely utilize this place again and felt the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.

This house was a perfect fit for our trip! My son got married close by and the house was big enough to accommodate all of my family that came from out of town. It's very spacious! The area is quiet. The view from the front is amazing! Loved that we were within close driving distance to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park and so many little towns to explore. Hatch is a small, quiet town. Not much in the way of businesses so if you're planning to cook your own meals, either bring your food with you or plan to drive to Panguich to get some groceries. The owner had great communication! Highly recommend this place for any large groups!

Beautiful location - mountains in the morning and evening, stars at night. Between the porch and the views, the ping-pong table and air hockey, and the farm animals in the neighborhood, my family and kids had an amazing time. If you are looking to see Bryce Canyon or just get away from the grind of city/suburban life, this is a great choice.

Cabin was very nice, especially the kitchen! It had everything we needed - lots of cooking utensils and dishes. The location was great, close to Bryce Canyon and Cedar City.

The space was very large.

Lovely home; spotless; well-equipped. Small-town in the west neighborhood and atmosphere. The Outlaw Saloon that is nearby is delightful for dinner in the "West."

Conveniently located for access to Bryce Canyon and Zion. Plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. Amazing sunrises and sunsets right from the porch. Pleasant horses, sheep and chickens around the corner.

Looks are very deceiving…… on the outside the home is beautiful and it sits on beautiful farm land.
The inside accommodations not so much.
The beds are absolutely terribly uncomfortable, the towels feel like sand paper, the furniture is very dated and dirty and uncomfortable.
The loft has beds that only a child can fit, also no window coverings so it made it impossible to sleep.
The pots, pans, and kitchen utensils are the worst we have ever had.
We were celebrating a Bday and all she wanted was a Bbq dinner. The listing says bbq but there was no bbq. Deceiving. We asked if one could be provided and they said No. we did see another review that said the owner provided a bbq but this was not the case for us.
The location of the property was great though,30 mins to Bryce Canyon.
For the price we paid we expected the accommodations to be better.
It was more of a 2 star property with a 5 star presence.
Would not recommend or stay there again.

This was a great base camp for our adventure. The space was conveniently located, spacious enough for our group of adults, clean and very comfortable.

We had a wonderful experience. This was a great location to stay and go see Zion, Bryce Canyon, ect. The kitchen was well stocked and we used it twice a day. Beds were comfy. The place was clean and in good working order. No complaints.

We had a great stay. The view was gorgeous and the kids had fun playing air hockey and pingpang! We had to change our trip plan due to the snow and the owner let us in earlier. We spent the afternoon in the house playing games while watching the snow. Really appreciated their flexibility.

Worked out GREAT for us!

Very spacious in a country setting.
Had an issue with very large TV upstairs (only tv) remote missing; host address with us downloading roku app to control TV. Was a challenge because no one was familiar with Roku, but we managed. Host responded very quickly. Some of the pots & pans are in rough shape & had to clean before use. Guest BEWARE Stove top is INDUCTION & high altitude cooks differently. We suggest Host to put together a booklet on using stove & TV directions to alleviate confusion. We woke up to snow which was beautiful & the front door porch area snow had been cleaned off! Great job!! All in all had a great experience!

We were 5 seniors on a hiking trip to Bryce canyon and surrounding area. This VRBO made an excellent base for our adventures. House was very clean and well supplied. The neighbouring properties are a little run down but you don't really notice it because of the excellent view off the front porch. A BBQ would be a great addition so you could cook on the deck and enjoy more of the view. Grociers in Hatch are very limited so be sure to get your supplies before you arrive.

House is as-summarized with the exception of the grill which is in the pictures but wasn't initially available. The answer from the "local" contact (who lives in Alaska) was that it wasn't included as they had removed it from the listing because of poor maintenance by guests. Thankfully she had pity on us and had one of her local brothers come over and remove one of the grills from the garage for our use.
House is in a great location for hiking in nearby Bryce Canyon and we were prepared for the fact that the nearest grocery store is 18 miles away and had done our shopping in Salt Lake City. Kitchen is well-appointed for cooking and serving a large group.
All appliances worked well and there were plenty of linens for all bedrooms.
We never heard the tenant that lives in the basement but like other reviewers, found it strange that it wasn't disclosed up front.

Large property, forra-te communication
We had a lovely weekend getaway with our family and friends. The house is really spacious and lots to entertain kids. It’s really close to Bryce where we spent time.
The only hiccup was the bbq which was very dirty and gross. It needs a good cleaning or potentially a new one. We called the property manager and they were really responsive although not much could be done. They mentioned refund of the cleaning fee given the situation.
Overall it was a really good stay !

Badly Needs TLC
Beautiful home with great views, but in dire need of maintenance and repairs. Dishwasher, freezer, ice maker not working, dirty (carpets, drawers, furniture), person living in the basement-creepy. No lamps in bedrooms and mattresses terrible. BBQ grill filthy and unsafe, slimmy water making showers slippery and unsafe. Needs curtains or shades in master bathroom and kitchen. I could go on and on. We would not stay here again (sad to let such a nice home fall into such disrepair).

Great location, property a little tired and not clean
The location of the house in Hatch was great. It was spacious and comfortable.....but the carpet in the bedrooms were not clean. The BBQ was not safe to use AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. Details in the kitchen were C-, no wine glasses, place mats, light in oven out and the property manager Leslie, didn't respond to any of our communications. We would not rent this house again.

Great house, ensure cleanliness and accuracy
Really nice house, and kids loved the loft. We were counting on using the grill, but it was unusable from a cleanliness perspective and from a fire risk perspective. You could see through the grill to the deck. Bathroom mat in master bath was soaking wet upon arrival, and there was a girl's hair clip in the shower. Refrigerator was not clean in numerous places. Between this, the truck parked in the yard, and the lights on in the basement, it appeared someone else lived there. The lack of cleanliness, especially with the price we paid and the 5pm check-in (the latest we've ever had at a property), was disappointing. Otherwise a really nice property that would benefit from better management.

Hatch
Clean property, spacious. We enjoyed staying here. Be aware that the nearest grocery store is 20 minutes away and closes at 9pm. Really loved walking up to the exceptional coffee house, Sevier Coffee

Great house!
Had a great time, house is terrific! Only one suggestion--you could add curtains or blinds to the clear bathroom window. We were quite surprised (and uncomfortable) to see the neighbors' homes outside in the morning when the sun was up.

Beautiful Cabin
We loved staying in this beautiful cabin. This property is close to Bryce Canyon. The adults and kids loved the loft, and the game tables were a hit! We enjoyed how spacious and clean it was! Would stay here again. Fantastic property!

Just great
It was our second time at this cabin , and we absolutely loved it. The house was fully stocked with everything we might need and the property manager was quick to answer any questions. The locations is great, just a short drive to Bryce, Brian Head or Mammoth Cave. Definetly going back.

My husband and I went to Bryce Canyon with 4 friends. This property is the best location to stay. The layout of the house is very unique, and it is very quite to rest before and after hiking. This house is very big for our group of six, but it will be great if 1 more bathroom is available and the cooking pans can be non-sticky.

Convenient location
We did a quick trip to Bryce Canyon and this property worked out perfectly. The kids loved all being able to sleep in the large loft area upstairs.

Oasis in the desert!
This was the perfect retreat after a hit, long day of hiking or canyoneering! Clean. Tastefully decorated and absolutely comfortable. Bedrooms were well appointed and bathrooms came with make up wipes and shampoo/conditioner! The kitchen included enough basic cookware to make easy meals at the end of a busy day. The townhouse was also just high enough to let everyone enjoy some quiet time.
While at first this location seemed a bit out of the way—it ended up being absolutely perfect to travel both to Zion and Kanab and other local destinations. It had plenty of restaurants near by, as well as grocery’s and a bank. All within 5 minutes.
The best, and I mean best part was the fabulous pool area! Each night we’d all head over (only two minutes away by foot!) and cool off! While we didn’t use the gym or the common area they were both well appointed and inviting as well.
Thanks Tory for a great trip and for allowing us to see your beautiful town!
