About this house rental
Typical Provençal stone sheepfold, located in a picturesque hamlet in the middle of the Plan de La Tour vineyards. Charming house with terracotta floor and exposed solid wood frame. Its original stone pillar dating from 1865 has been preserved during renovations.
The garden has a petanque court, a wood-fired barbecue area, as well as an ideally exposed terrace for relaxation, covered with wisteria in bloom in spring.
On the ground floor:
-A large room with high ceilings and an exposed roof structure, opening onto the terrace, with a fireplace, a pizza oven, a dining area, and a living room with a television connected to TNT channels, a DVD player and board games.
-A travertine kitchen with plenty of storage space and all the equipment you need to cook good food: oven, microwave, dishwasher, five-burner hob, fridge, freezer, small appliances.
-A cellar space with washing machine and an independent toilet.
-A children's bedroom with two bunk beds and a double bedroom (160cm bed) with storage space and its own travertine bathroom with double washbasin, toilet and bath.
On the first floor:
A double bedroom with a 140cm bed, a travertine shower and a washbasin area with a breathtaking view of the Provencal hills.
The house is south facing for optimum sunshine over a wide range of hours, however, the thick traditional stone walls keep it cool in summer and warm in winter.
All the rooms in the house are equipped with air-conditioning, wifi access, linen and towels are included in the rental price.

Absolutely loved the property here. Easy waking, gorgeous sunsets, close to Saint Tropez but far enough away that you felt secluded. The owners were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a rustic small town stay!

My family (2 adults, 2 teens, & 2 kids) had the most wonderful month at Herve's home. The property is beautiful, calm, quiet, and surrounded by vineyards.
The home has quaint architecture with beautiful views. It also has an outdoor patio with dining table, large master bath with large soaking tub, and so much more. We enjoyed the indoor pizza oven and made it a tradition to make pizza each week.
The front yard has a petanque court, outdoor grill, and arbor with seating area. We used these amenties frequently and even roasted marshmallows in the outdoor grill one night.
The small village of Plan de la Tour is a short 4-5 min drive. It has a beautiful town square with a small market every Thursday morning. It's the most lovely area to shop and dine outside. The restaurants serve delicious food!
Herve and his wife were so helpful. They always responded quickly to our requests and made every effort to keep us comfortable and happy.
I can't say enough good things about our stay. I actually was quite teary packing our things because I will miss it so much (we live in the U.S.A.)
The only tricky thing we experienced during our stay was slow internet (my kids were trying to do school online), but we were still able to get things done. And, GPS took us to the wrong address when we arrived. It was very late at night and dark so we got a bit lost. However, Herve got in his car, found us, and guided us to his home. He is AMAZING!

This is an old stone house with traditional Provençal features. The property maintains an air of privacy whilst being located in a small hamlet. It is not overlooked and has fantastic views across vineyards to the surrounding hills. The hamlet of La Plan is situated a beautiful 30 minute walk through vine yards from Plan de la Tour. Plan de la Tour is a traditional unspoilt village with Bakeries, Bar, Restaurant and a handful of village shops.
More than well-equipped, this house simply has everything you will need for your stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and welcoming. Shutters keep the house cool during the day; the views of the starlit night sky are magical. The kitchen is kitted out to deal with every conceivable event from breakfast to banquet. The large terrace looks out over a well-kept garden which hosts a fabulous BBQ grill. Both garden and terrace have large tables for eating outside.
The hosts are extremely accommodating; making sure their guests are comfortable in the house and always there to answer any queries.
All in all a fantastic place to stay.
