Apartment above South Sands beach near Salcombe, sleeping four in two bedrooms.
4 Ringrone is a historic property set in mature grounds above the mouth of the Salcombe estuary. Classically furnished, this two-bedroom apartment is within a gentle downhill stroll of Salcombe’s North Sands Beach, and is close to the famous waterfront, shops, pubs and restaurants. Sleeps four guests in two bedrooms. With wonderful estuary views towards Prawle Point from the living areas, 4 Ringrone is a fabulous property for those wanting to relax in a coastal location.
Amenities: Neff induction hob and oven/grill, larder fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and CD/radio.
TV and DVD/Blu-ray player. Wifi. Telephone available for local calls.
Baby friendly equipment including a travel cot and high chair are available, as well as plastic beakers, plates etc., toys and games.
Barbecue available.
Allocated parking for two cars.
Electric heating and hot water via immersion.
All duvets, pillows, bed linen and bath/hand towels are supplied. You will need to bring tea towels and beach towels. Strictly No Smoking
Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
