A beautiful, elegant apartment perfectly situated for exploring all that Lisbon has to offer.

Very comfortable apartment. Close to bus/metro/tram/train lines. Quiet at night, shops and restaurants nearby. Found the internet a bit slow but there were 3 of us trying to connect. Kitchen was very well supplied. all in all a great place to stay.

Caroles apartment is lovely. It is very comfortable and has everything you need. The location is perfect! Close to Cais do Sodre station, so it's easy to get the metro to the airport or trains to Belem and Cascais. We loved our stay there and would recommend it to others. Thanks, Carole!

Superb neighborhood apartment with lots of light and comfort. Carole's an owner who cares about her guests.

This is a beautiful, spacious flat in a great location. There is so much thoughtfulness in the furnishings and accessories - anything that we could have possibly needed was provided, and more. The neighbor downstairs has a dog that barks incessantly and the stairwell outside the apartment always reeks of cigarette smoke but the apartment itself is just wonderful.

The apartment was perfect for my family at five. Carole was very attentive, and very easy to communicate with the check in process was flawless. She even offered us a morning breakfast in the pastry shop downstairs the morning after our arrival, I would not hesitate to stay in Carole’s beautiful apartment again and another trip to Lisbon.

The property was stunning and perfect for a family of 5. Carole was in constant contact with us, prior to and throughout our stay in Lisboa. She was so lovely and accommodating! It’s a very bright, clean home near Green Street and a short walk to major sights in Lisboa. Would highly recommend!

The apartment was bright and spacious, a short walk to many restaurants and grocery stores, including a little coffee shop next door. Public transportation was convenient and readily available while it was also convenient to use an Uber when required, since the apartment is well located.
The manager of the place was easily accessible and the owner was a phone call away. All in all we had a wonderful stay in Lisbon, and I would definitely recommend this property.

We met at this apartment for a girls weekend in Lisbon. Carole's apartment is very well renovated and has everything you might need, even for a much longer stay. The apartment is probably almost better than the photos. Very stylish and modern while keeping the historic feel. It was a lovely flat stroll to the Time Out Market. Checking in was easy with Dinis who runs the cafe. And the breakfast on the first full day there was a lovely personal touch. Plenty of other restaurants and bars within walking distance. Having central heat and AC was an excellent bonus with each room having it's own control.
Carole was easy to get a hold of. Friends of mine who have retired to Portugal from the US told us that this apartment was a very lucky find as not many vacation rentals are that nice. We would definitely stay again as it is excellent value for money. Thanks so much, Carole!

What a wonderful stay at this beautiful, modern loft in a hip neighborhood in Lisbon! The host made the stay extra special by giving us a complementary breakfast at the cafe downstairs (the owner is so lovely). Thank you for making our stay in Lisbon extra special.

Large well appointed apartment near train, metro, buses and trams. Easy check-in and departure. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and Lisbon.

Carole's beautiful and spacious apartment was a wonderful retreat for our 5 day adventure in Lisbon. First and foremost, Carole is a great communicator and always responded immediately to any questions or concerns. She works closely with Dini of the Brasao Pastelaria who greeted us with open arms and acquainted us with the apartment upon our arrival. There were only 4 adults who found the apartment clean, spacious and appointed beautifully which had everything we needed for relaxing after very busy days spent site seeing. We loved the market and restaurants on Green St., across the street and explored them regularly. Most mornings we went downstairs to see Dini and enjoyed his coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, breakfast sandwiches and pastries. We found taking Uber to be very easy and affordable.
One most memorable excursion was taking a 3 hr. Tuk Tuk tour of Lisbon which was narrated by local residence Super Mario, (if you watch YouTube, Dave in Portgual you will know who I am talking about!) Mario was absolutely the best introduction to the history, culture and sights of this beautiful old city. He was engaging, fun, and has a deep pride for the city he grew up in. His contact info is: Facebook Messenger, SuperMario the TukTuk Driver, or email, [email protected]. Culinary Backstreets
Hidden Flavors of the Hillside, Mouraria and Graca, Food and Wine tour was fabulous, lots of walking uphill, worth every bite!

Great stay. Both host and Dinis at coffee shop were fantastic. Apartment is beautiful.

This apartment was perfect for a family of 6 adults. Communication with Carole was great. The neighborhood, though not in the central part of Lisbon, has plenty of great restaurants and cafes. We would definitely say here again.

The apartment is attractive, well appointed, and in a great part of the city for exploring on foot. Carole, the owner, is friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed staying here very much and felt very welcome in Lisboa. We highly recommend this apartment.

Carole was very helpful every step of the way. The apartment was grand and comfy at the same time with new windows and shutters to shut out the bustle of the city at night. Excellent location to get around, Ubers are quick and economical.

This apartment was in a great location. The place was beautiful and well appointed. We were very comfortable here and would highly recommend this to anyone. Carole was a great host. She quickly responded to any of our inquiries (which were few).
Thank you Carole!!

This is a very spacious and comfortable apartment with good access to many of the sites in Lisbon. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area and the facilities in the apartment are excellent if you want do do your own cooking. Contact with the owner was very straightforward. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lisbon

I enjoyed an entire week at this property that is surprisingly quiet despite being located on a busy street. The unit looks to have been recently remodeled as well. One small negative is that there is no elevator but I would still recommend nonetheless.

Everything was lovely at the apartment except the odor of rodent that seemed to emanate from the AC vent. The owner was helpful in trying to have a technician alleviate the problem. Overall an excellent stay!!

Condo is nice and large. Contains most amenities. Good location. Master bedroom bed not very comfortable. Was very firm. Rest of beds good. Was not as clean as I wished it could be.

Great Location! And Air Conditioned!
We had a great stay. The apartment was centrally located to many attractions throughout Lisbon... and some of the best restaurants we visited were within a few hundred yards of the front door! Most appreciated was the air conditioning because Portugal and most of Europe were experiencing temperatures in excess of 32°C this summer.

Wonderful flat, excellent location
We had a great stay at Carole apartment in the Conde Barao neighbor of Lisbon. The description and photo are accurately depicted. Great space, clean, convenient to the city center and plenty of options to eat right in the neighborhood. Carole was very responsive with any quetions we had and provided recommendations that we found useful.
Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely Home and Location
It was an excellent stay and a lovely apartment. It was well stocked with kitchen basics and in a wonderful location.

We spent Christmas with our adult „children“ in Carole‘s place. It was the best. Location is great, the apartment is stunning, beautifully decorated. From now on, every other place we stay in will have to compare to this.
The kitchen is quite well equipped so we could prepare meals that were memorable.
We had our own suite with adjoining washroom and separate bedrooms for everyone. There are a lot of stores, restaurants and bars nearby.
We just want to come back soon!

Wouldn’t Return
Upon arrival in a poor dark & dirty neighborhood we were motioned to come in the street door by a poorly clad & dirty man who We later learned was the cleaning lady’s husband. The cleaning lady pushed us thru the check in process. The fire prone building had 45 circular wooden steps. One backpack was dropped at the first flight of stairs. Within 3-5 minutes the backpack disappeared and we strongly suspicion the cleaning lady or her husband. The unit was less than clean, poor volume of linens, unit needs maintenance (toilet seats not secured), no lighting in dark staircase after dark, painting construction outside front of building and with many conversations with the owner in Paris and her English speaking son in law, communications were less than desired. We did file a police report.
We would not return,
Bob M

Honestly this place is gorgeous, the architecture is amazing, the furnishings are cute, the kitchen and bathrooms are large and updated, the smart TV was nice for the few times we wanted to unwind. Just a few things to be ready for.The smell: The sewer smell towards the back of the apartment is really horrible. The scented items left out do not replace the smell, only mingle with it to make it more gross. The hot water: you've got about 30 minutes total, and if you're taking advantage of the 3 bedrooms with 6 people, some of you will take cold showers. I suggest a morning/night split schedule. The clothing washer/dryer: doesn't really dry anything. I am guessing that's why there are all the hangers lining the halls to hang dry your clothes? Just would have been nice to know in advance that laundry is going to be difficult and time consuming, don't wait until your last day.Third floor: was this in the description? Wasn't a problem for us, just be aware its up 2 flights of winding stairs. The cafe below: the manager was nice and helpful but I wasn't impressed with anything they had to offer, and while you get one "breakfast" (coffee and a few pastries) free, be aware that any day that's not your free breakfast day and they bring something to your table that you did not order, you will get charged for it. There are several cafes nearby so I would recommend some of those, don't feel obligated to go downstairs.BONUS: it is walking distance to Time Out Market which has some of the best food in the city, honestly. Try the pasteis at Monteigaria!

Wonderful experience
What a great experience we had at this property. It was located centrally and very clean. Carole was always available for questions. She invited us to the bakery downstairs for breakfast which was fantastic. Her house was well stocked with what was needed for our trip. Even though the house had AC it really was not needed as the windows were so large that the breeze coming in was cooking. It was really awesome.
Our 3 kids had their own space and really loved the house. Thank you Carole.

Trendy And Roomy
Artfully decorated apartment with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, and full kitchen made our stay in Lisbon very pleasant. Neighborhood is transitioning from old to new. Easy to reach all Lisbon attractions. Many in walking distance. Convenient access to bus, tram, taxi, Uber. Carole responded promptly to emails and offered helpful suggestions.

Best of Old Town
The apartment felt just like being at home. Large windows letting in lots of light, rooms were spacious and amenities on point. A bonus is that you are right above the bakery. Convenient to small super market, Tram 28 and all the hot spots. We cooked breakfast most days with ease and ample cookware and plates ... just like home.
