Really enjoyed our stay. The beds were really comfortable , house was very clean and the layout of the house was great, We really appreciated all the amenities such as the hot tub, streaming music & tv channels, and beach chairs. Perfect stay to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday. :)

We felt guilty and spoiled after we were upgraded to this much larger and wonderful home. The owners put a lot of time and effort into making their residence a great place to stay while on vacation!

House was great, had everything we needed. Used it for base to head into yosemite. Drive was just under 1.5 hours which worked great for a day trip.

The house was very clean. It was big enough for our family and a few of my teenage daughter's friends for her birthday. The hot tub was nice. The house had most things we needed. It rained the whole day one of the days we were there so it was nice to have the fireplace to sit by and relax. There was 1 duraflame provided, but the store is about 5 minutes away to get more wood. The TVs wouldn't stay connected to the WiFi for the streaming services that were provided, but we made it work. The walk to the beach is about 15 minutes, but its a fairly easy walk. Will consider staying again.

This was our second time visiting Creekside Cabin. This home was perfect for our much needed getaway. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. The kids loved all the games provided, and enjoyed adventuring in the creek in the backyard. From our bbq to the jacuzzi, these memories will definitely last. We will definitely be back.

The house has the best stocked kitchen in terms of any utensil and appliance you need, is very comfortable especially when traveling with kids. There wasn’t much bath soap or paper products - only enough for 2 people. The property management is through Vacasa so expect professionalism but from a distance - not as responsive as a person. Would definitely stay here again!

We took the 1.5 hour drives to Yosemite most days. We were back to our Creekside Cabin each night for dinner. Stayed local one day to enjoy the lake, all the deer and our hot tub. Really appreciated our cabin which was spacious and very comfortable. Thank you!!!

I am going to simply state the facts here, both positive and negative.
- The beds were full of human hair and even pubic hair in maid (tucked and folded beds). Able to provide photos.
- There was a STRONG smell of urine coming from the upstairs bathroom that spread to the whole top floor of bedrooms
- The rest of the house had a different but equally challenging smell
- The dishes were put away but not clean (lipstick stains and fingerprints all over). Able to provide photos.
- The split A/C units would not work consistently. Even the property manager rep couldn't get them to work - where he has in the past.
- Some towels were stained brown. (I did not investigate what this was). Able to provide photos.
- The property management company was atrocious. We had to sleep on hair filled beds on the top comforter and clean towels we found the first night. No one came for 24 hours. The workers that came were kind, helpful and genuinely concerned but said they were short staffed, came in on days off, did the best they could but management would help them. They said they feared for their jobs. They promised some type of comp but haven't delivered either. They promised a ticket number for their support but refused to provide the number to me. This business lacks transparency and is not willing or able to help reasonably.
-Hottub was good
I am sorry to the homeowners. I know you rely on the management company to do this - but it was a terrible experience with them.

We own two rental properties and I will start with the positive and the negative experiences we had at the property and my recommendations. I have not seen my grown son for over 3 years due to Covid because he lives in France.
The house was large and more then enough room for 4 people. We liked that they offered 2 king size beds, pets stay for free, the new hot tub, lots of towels, and the location.
I requested an early check in and it was denied because the home was supposed to be cleaned. The big problem is when l arrived l knew immediately l was not going to be happy, the front yard was littered with garbage. The toilets were dirty, the beds sheets were filthy with stains, dirt and hair, the fridge and cupboards had food left over, only one towel was dirty, the coffee machine pot was filthy and had not been cleaned in a while, the hot tub was dirty. A cleaning person came and we left for 3 hours to have the house cleaned. When we returned the coffee machine had a filter with green mold. I gave up complaining even the upstairs bathroom never worked properly. My son and girlfriend had to go downstairs to use the bathroom each time.
The owners need to have a list given to the cleaning crew with items that need to be check off when work is completed to have accountability for their work. Also, the sheets on the bed are horrible and we always bought new ones every couple of years to keep the crispness. Even when the sheets were changed the first day, the bed looked as if someone slept in them.
I thank you for allowing us to stay at your home and l hope you change the way you do your business. Best wishes.

The lake house offered easy checkin and checkout, plenty of space for 4 adults, 5 kids and dog, the patio was spacious and hot tub/gaming amenities were fun.

Our two families enjoy meeting up for our annual PML weekend. This house was spacious, close to Dunn Ct beach, and the hot tub was an added perk.
Hot water was hard to come by in the kitchen and bath.

We had to pivot our plans from Midpines to Groveland due to the Oak fire in the south. Thankfully, I came across this listing. What a great home in a great location. It saved the trip for us. The master is large with a balcony off the bathroom to view the wildlife while you sip your coffee in the morning. The spa was turned on, hot, and ready to use right when we arrived. There was a stack of games that we used on the back porch. We contributed to the stack with our own UNO cards. If you use those you know where they came from :) We saw deer daily at the house and around the neighborhood. We came home to wild turkey in the front yard. It was summer so we didn't use the fireplace but they have them. We went to the lake in the center of PML one afternoon. there is a nice shaded beach area with a lot of kids and adults swimming in the water and jumping off the platform. There is a grocery store at the entrance and several good restaurants including Cocina Michoacana. We also enjoyed Mountain Sage for coffee. Yosemite is less than an hour away. The owners left a book with a lot of instructions and recommendations on everything. You definitely get a sense that this is a home their family enjoys as well. I thank them for allowing my family to experience it and strongly recommend it to anyone with several people wanting to visit the area.

The house itself was nice. Loved the layout, perfect for a multi-family vacation. We made good use of the round high-top table on the deck, utilized some of the toys the owner made available to renters (we used the inner tubes and EZ-up), and had some great meals that we prepared at the house.
However, there were a number of significant issues that we were very disappointed with that are not specific to the house as much as they are specific to the management/upkeep of the property.
1) Unsanitary Hot Tub: we arrived to find the hot tub absolutely filthy. The water was murky, there were big clumps of dirt throughout, and a foul smell emanating when you removed the cover. Even the cover itself was dirty. We reported the issue to management on 3 separate occasions, received confirmation that it would be addressed, but it never happened. Most of our party wouldn’t step foot in the hot tub for the week.
2) Filthy Gas Grill and Dirty Dishes in Dishwasher: The gas grill had not been cleaned. The grill itself needed a good scraping and high heat to burn off food remnants, and the side tables on the grill and area all around the grill were covered in food splatters. In addition to the dirty grill, we were disappointed to find a dishwasher full of unwashed dishes. We had to run the washer and put away someone else’s dishes at the very start of our vacation. To the management company’s credit, they responded to our complaint about the grill and dishwasher by refunding us the cleaning fee almost immediately.
Overall, we enjoyed our week thanks to the lake and the many activities in the Groveland/Yosemite area. But we were very disappointed with the upkeep of the house and lack of responsiveness on something as essential as an unsanitary hot tub. A little TLC and better maintenance/service between renters will make this a 5-star vacation house.

My family and grandparents loved our stay! Short drive to both swim beaches. Kitchen, seating area, patio and hot tub were perfect for making dinners and spending time together. House was clean, with new furniture and appliances, and everything we needed in the kitchen. Thank you!! We will be back!

the house was a little older than we thought. it had a lot of wear and tear but the owners had a lot of toy and things for my teenage grand children to use so it turned out perfect.
Pine Mountain Lake is not some where we wish to return to.
it took 20 minutes in line to get up to the gate. to much security, every where you went especially the lake had security guards watching you. if you stood in the water up to your calves you were held at to only stand in water at swim beach.
we had fun house was good for families location turned us off

Perfect trip
We had a wonderful trip. The house was very clean and spacious. We unpacked and relaxed on the deck watching the deer and listening to the frogs. The hot tub was cleanand was warm upon arrival. We went to Yosemite everyday, so we did not go to Pine Mountain Lake, but we will be going back this summer!

This house has something for everyone, and a beautiful deck overlooking the creek. There is a play station and access to fun kids' toys in addition to the a swing in the back right on the creek. The kids romped by the creek with our dogs, while my husband and I played with them or kept an eye on them from the deck. We all enjoyed the hot tub at the end of days full of adventure-- Yosemite is 30 minutes away, and there are a ton of trailheads along the way. The terrain is stunning.
We made dinner in the fully stocked kitchen every night after a full day of fun (all we had to do was pack the food), and the kids settled into the living room over a board game and in front of a fire. Incredible way to end each day.
Plenty of space, yard access, and proximity to tons of options in nature. There were even a few dog toys, which our dogs enjoyed. We hope to come back next year!

Family time
We booked this lovely home since the kids were off for thanksgiving week. We found it last min and it was perfect for us. Definitely much more space than we expected! Our 2 teenagers and nephew had plenty of room to either play together or be alone! Kitchen was nicely stocked with pots and pans and some seasonings.
Beds were comfy. House was cozy and the two living rooms was a very nice bonus. Kids playing in the front room while adults by the bar. We all enjoyed the hot tub! Kinda feel funny because the neighbors are so close but we used the top of the hot tub cover to block one side of neighbors. Although is kinda awkward the others can see you so close they were definitely nice, and smiled, waved and made small talk. Garage was fun but the kids didn’t spend too much time in there due to it being cold. But it was not a big deal. The washer and dryers were another amazing plus!
Our only con would be like what everyone else has brought up, the smell of mold. The middle room was a bit stronger than the rest. The master bedroom only smelled in the bathroom but we just tried to air it out during the day when it was warm out. But that didn’t dampen our trip. We made the best of it and just left the doors open. It’s a lovey home, in a beautiful neighborhood. The kids loved the visits from the deer families. Again beautiful home, with plenty of toys for little ones. I would definitely stay here again during the winter time.

Great location and space! Some room for improvement
We really enjoyed our stay here! Two families, for a total of 9 people and one dog.
Positives:
-Plenty of space on three levels! Lots of "hanging out" space between the lower and middle levels. One very large bedroom with a walk-in closet and bathroom had a king bed and a triple bunk. Other rooms were smaller but one had a twin bed and a triple bunk, and the other a king bed.
-Nice size kitchen with necessities and some extras (spices, dishes, etc) If you are planning to shop and cook, you may want to see what is already there before buying.
-Location is great! Not far from Yosemite, only took us about 30 min to get there, if that. Also, it is a quiet community with wandering deer that includes access to the lake. The swimming spot that is within walking distance is small and doesn't offer much shade and just a small area for swimming. But if you take a short drive (still within the gated community), there is a larger (but still quaint) beach area with swimming, fairly-priced boat/kayak rentals, and food. We were there in July, and it was busy but not crowded. Your HOA pass that you buy when initially entering gives you a pass that includes parking at the lake.
Room for improvement:
-Cleanliness: It wasn't necessarily dirty, but I did notice when I wiped up some water I spilled on the downstairs bathroom floor, the paper towel was very dirty, as if the floor wasn't recently cleaned. Also, the trash is stored in the garage and it stunk very badly. I'm not sure if the family that was there before us maybe had an infant and there were dirty diapers in there, but it smelled like there were. Our stay was Tues-Thurs, and trash pick up was the day we were leaving. By Wed/Thurs, the smell wasn't just confined to the garage but was noticeable upstairs, too.
-Entrance (HOA) Fee: I didn't remember seeing this mentioned in the listing but it was in the email we were sent after booking the place. It was actually mentioned in the listing, but the amount isn't mentioned. We had to pay $40 PER CAR.
-Just a mention that if you are bringing a pet, it is a bit challenging because there is carpet throughout the place except for the kitchen and bathrooms. The small dog with us spent most of the time in a crate.
-Non-working: The filtered water spout in the kitchen was not working at all. Neither was the fridge water dispenser. It also ran out of ice. Also, the oven was not working, but they responded the next day with a simple fix.
Hope someone finds this helpful!

Our families had a wonderful time! The home was clean and much larger than anticipated. The kids ages 1.5-4 loved the bunk beds and the hot tub. There’s a swing on the hillside behind the home and I’d say 80% of our stay was spent pushing the kids on it. It was our first time stay on the side of PML and we def will be back!
