Welcome to Ixchel Beach Condominiums located on the island's most beautiful beach, Playa Norte (The North Beach). We are proud to offer you the best view at Ixchel! It is fully furnished on the 6th floor and over looks the Caribbean.
This luxury 2 bedroom condominium suite includes a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Our dining room and living room has a leather couch & loveseat, 42' flat screen TV w/Direct TV (NFL Package included) and DVD player.
The kitchen contains stainless steel refrigerator/freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, pots and pans, plastic wine glasses, assorted utensils, knife set and bottled drinking water.
The master bedroom is beautifully decorated. It has a king size bed, with a beautiful fully tiled bathroom and granite countertops. Also, in this master bedroom it has a large balcony with 1 sun lounger, 2 sets of patio furniture, our newest addition is a grilling station and mini frig to chill your favorite beverages on the balcony. This bedroom has a luxury mattress! This large balcony runs along the front and sides of master suite and living room area-which has amazing views of North Beach and offers incredible sunsets!
If you're looking for a great place to stay and your on a budget our unique second bedroom is just the place for you. It has one king size bed which give you lots of extra room instead of other places at Ixchel that have the two queens in their second bedroom. Our second bedroom includes a fully tiled bathroom and a table for two with a view of the ocean or an area for reading.
Each bedrooms come with cable TV, DVD player, air conditioning units with separately zoned controls, electronic safe deposit boxes, iron/ironing boards, hair dryers and bathroom amenities. All rentals include daily Housekeeping and taxes.
We are also, happy to assist with renting out other units if large parties are going to be staying at Ixchel. We can arrange a coordinator to organize anniversary, renewing of the vows or wedding parties on the island.
At Ixchel, take advantage of the hotels full (24 hour) bilingual reception and concierge services, 2 elevators, laundry room, workout room, beach towel service, pool side snack bar which is open from 9-5pm daily, pool and beach sun loungers/umbrellas and much more...

We absolutely loved it at Ixchel Beach Hotel. The room was perfect for two couples and had a wrap around deck with panoramic views of the beach and ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the location - right on the beach and just a short walk to the ,main street. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

We visited Cancun in December and spent a day in Isla. . Decided to vacation in Isla. Everything is perfect about this condo as well as Ixchel beach hotel. The owner Michelle was very patient answering our many questions. The condo was fantastic for our family of four . Perfect location and views unreal. We watched sunset from our balcony , could walk to any restaurant and Playa Norte is a fantastic beach. Planning our next visit and would not change a thing

The property, and particularly this unit, is located on a perfect stretch of beach in Playa Norte. The 2BR/2 BA 6th floor unit was very nicely decorated and well provisioned. The wrap around balcony was stunning! Already recommended it to friends who are on their way there. Looking forward to staying again!

Just returned from 5 nights at the perfect property. The photos don't do it justice, it is spectacular! We rented both units for a family of four so had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The two bedrooms have king beds which were very comfortable and had great bedding/pillows. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed for cooking and coffee. There's a filtered water dispenser there so it was easy to fill the water bottles and not worry. We were happy to find a couple of coolers to pack and use for exploring as well as some beach toys/noodles that came in handy. The owners also had a great stock of movies that we enjoyed nightly with our kids (11 & 13yo). The views are INCREDIBLE. You cannot peel your eyes away.
Even though this is a "condo" its part of Ixchel Beach Hotel. So you get all the amenities of staying at a full-service hotel. We had maid services daily, towel service for the beach, two pools, restaurant/bar and reserved beach chairs with service right on the beach. You are literally walking distance to everything, we found we only needed to rent a golf cart for one day to visit some beach clubs on the other end of the island. Walked to dinner, breakfast and lunch on the beach.
You will not be disappointed. Thanks for a great vacation.

This property is one of the best in the Ixchel complex. Located furthest out so it sits on top of Playa Norte with sweeping views from the wrap around porch. The apartment had all the utensils and amenities we needed for a low-key girls trip. I appreciated the water filter for an endless supply of cold, potable water during our trip without using any plastic bottles - we simply refilled our own water bottles. The staff was very friendly and responsive to all of our questions and requests.

Our family visited Isla Mujeres for our Spring Break vacation and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! We chose this condo (610 and 609) as the location and pictures looked perfect. The condo was even better than we expected! It was very clean with everything we needed, and the views from every room were incredible! We especially loved the balcony. We ate breakfast there in the morning and watched sunsets in the evening. The white sand beaches are beautiful. The kids loved how shallow and warm the waters are and enjoyed using their goggles and GoPro to see various fish, snails, and even a stingray. A couple times, we walked up North Beach to the sandy eastern point. Just around the bend you can walk right under the bridge and see several varieties of fish. The location of the condo couldn't be better. It's just a block away from wonderful restaurants and shops in the downtown. Also, don't miss the Thursday art fair - such talented local artists! Before our trip, we had several questions. Tina and Mike were so helpful! They offered great advice and sent us links for some fun activities (we volunteered to walk dogs at Isla Animals twice - the kids had so much fun the first time, we had to go back again!). Some of our favorite restaurants were Lola Valentina, Olivia's, Bally Hoo (great fish tacos) and Limon (wonderful filet mignon). Thanks again to Tina and Mike for such amazing accommodations! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I and our baby stayed here with other friends in February this year and absolutely loved this condo. I've been to Isla many times and stayed at Ixchel, but this was by far the most beautiful unit I've seen. The wrap-around balcony was amazing and perfect for just sitting while our little guy was napping, or watching the sunset or sitting outside in the evenings. Still felt like we were right on the beach. The condo looks even better than the pictures and couldn't be more comfortable-full kitchen with everything you need, two large bedrooms and comfortable common space with all conveniences. In short, hard to top!
Isla is a perfect spot for a getaway and staying in this condo makes it even better. We'll be repeat customers, hopefully for years to come!

This was our first time to Isla and I was awestruck by how beautiful it was. This condo provided amazing views of the beautiful turquoise blue ocean. Each night we would relax out on the wrap around balcony with a glass of wine and watch the most incredible sunsets we've ever seen.
The condo is very nice and provided all the comforts of home including a fully stocked kitchen with a full size fridge and freezer. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed waking up to the ocean view that we could see right from our bed. They provided bottled water in the room, which we used to fill our water bottles before heading out to the awesome white sand beach right outside the door downstairs. We also liked that you could get a clean beach towel each day downstairs.
The staff were very friendly and so accommodating. Whether it was setting you up on the beach with loungers and umbrellas or serving you refreshments and food right on the beach. They even filled up our air mattresses for us. The soft white sand beach is really clean and well maintained. We walked down the beach a little ways and found a great place to snorkel and see colorful fish (including Dorys as my kids called them), squid and even an octopus.
There are a wide array of shops and restaurants within short walking distance. There is also a market about a block away that we were able to get fresh fruit, pastries and freshly squeezed juices, which we would often have for breakfast. One of the kids favorite treats at night was a street vendor who made these treats called Marquesitas. They started out looking like crepes which turn into a warm delicately crunchy roll up, that were filled with bananas and Nutella.
We also rented golf carts (which is conveniently located right across the street). This allowed us to access even more of the wonderful restaurants and parks. The coconut french toast at the Mango Cafe was as wonderful as everyone said. There is also a turtle sanctuary on the island, where the kids enjoyed seeing all the baby turtles. But the best part of the trip for me had to be swimming with the whale sharks. They are these gentle giants and it was so very cool being able to snorkel alongside them as they lumbered by. We went through Isla Mujeres Water Tours with Jorge De La O. They were super accommodating and even made a crevice lunch with fresh caught fish. I would highly recommend them.

We stayed here end of June 2015 - Mom, Dad and 2 adults sons. It is a gorgeous place with the most amazing view! We've stayed at Ixchel before but the view and large wraparound deck made this place extra special. Inside the beds were comfortable, the sofa in the living room inviting and kitchen fully functional. Location cannot be beat as restaurants and bars are within walking distance and you right on Playa Norte which is one of the prettiest beaches ever! Calm, clear and warm water with soft sand. You can stand in the ocean with a drink in your hand or rent paddle boards and just chill. Also, check-in was smooth and fast and we were greeted with cool scented towels and warm smiles. I worked with the owner, Tina, and she is just fabulous - very responsive and helpful and accommodating to my date fluctuations. We will definitely be back!

Beautifully upgraded kitchen, large master shower with a view, very comfortable beds, TV, internet, grill on the balcony, floor to ceiling sliding doors and a HUGE wrap around balcony. The condo is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures!
We were greeted by Ixchel 2 staff with cool, scented washcloths and smiles! Staff was always friendly and extremely helpful for hotel requests, restaurant recommendations, assistance out at the beach and by the pool. Ixchel property was always clean and very well maintained.
We were just steps away from Hidalgo Street, where many restaurants and shops are located-Ixchel has a fantastic location!
We would recommend this place to all of our friends and family-we had an amazing vacation!! See you soon!

This condo was absolutely beautiful! Photos do not do it justice. You can tell that this property is taken care of and has been updated. In my opinion, the balcony has some of the best views on the isla.

This was my second time staying in this condo! I won't stay anywhere else! These rooms are fantastic together or separate. The views are spectacular. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is updated. It even has a wine refrigerator! I felt like I was on vacation at my home. Whether you were in the mood for the beach or just a nice sit on the balcony, this is the place to stay. Tina is fantastic to work with. Very prompt with phone calls and emails. I HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone! You will not be disappointed.

Isla at its BEST!! This condo is luxury accommodations head to toe. I have stayed at many vrbo properties in the past and have been pleased, but this one is a step above the rest. If I could post my multiple pictures of the absolutely stunning views from the HUGE wrap around deck, I would. You have views of Cancun, the fantastic blue waters and beachfront, all the way around to other side of the island. The condo itself has every upgrade one would desire. We even took a couple we met up to the place to show it off, and they grabbed a card and said "Definitely will stay here next time!"
Tina is fantastic, she takes care of any questions/concerns that you have. We had no reason to contact her beyond the reservation, the condo speaks for itself.

I stayed at this condo for 5 days earlier this month and I cannot say enough how fantastic this place is! I actually wound up changing my travel plans and arrived on Isla several days earlier than my friends. The condo was already booked so I found other accommodations at the other end of the island. While they were fine, they were nothing compared to this place. The condo is spacious, comfortable and very modern in decor but the most amazing part is view. From the moment you step out onto the wrap around deck you will know you are at the perfect place. The views are incredible! By far, Playa Norte is the BEST beach on the entire island and you get to look at it every day, it's literally right outside your door! Not only that but you have all of the best restaurants and bars so close by. Or, if you decide you want to stay in one day (which is easy to do at this place) they have a great poolside restaurant as well with a very friendly and attentive staff. They even have a grill out on the deck so one day we stopped at the local grocery store, picked up some food and grilled up some burgers all while looking at the incredible views. I do recommend when you are there, to rent a golf cart and explore the island. Another great perk was that they have golf rental available right there so it's so easy. After exploring the island you will quickly learn that you are in the best location on the entire island.
I cannot recommend this condo enough. Tina was so helpful and quick to answer all of our questions and the place more than exceeded our expectations! I was trying to think if I could change or recommend one thing what would it be, but I honestly can't think of anything. Fantastic condo, amazing views, perfect location, fabulous staff...I will definitely be staying here on my next return to Isla!

We've been to Isla before, but didn't stay at Ixchel last time. We knew we wanted to be on the North Beach and we knew roughly where Ixchel was located. The condo exceeded our expectations! The location and views just can't be beat! The condo is nicely designed and tastefully decorated. We got a lot of use out of the wrap-around balcony with coffee in the morning, and games of dominoes and pina coladas at night... We will be back to Isla and would stay in Tina and Mike's condo again in a heartbeat!

The best unit at the best property in Isla! The views from the wrap around balcony are unbelievable. My family of four spent four nights in late March on our first (but not last) trip to Isla. Everything was perfect. The updated kitchen was much enjoyed, the beds are very comfy, the bathrooms are awesome, and did I mention the balcony views?? Our other friends at Ixchel were envious of our unit. Tina and I became fast friends once we realized our mutual love for warm weather locales. She was great to work with throughout the process as I booked this unit a year in advance. We look forward to a return visit and will only consider this property when in Isla.

This was our 4th visit to Ixchel Beach Condos and 2nd time in these units. We specifically searched out these units for our trip back because they have amazing oceanfront views, wrap around deck and it's perfect for 2 couples or a family. The units have been remodeled since the last time we were there and the new décor is very nice. Very comfortable beds and all the things you would expect a condo to be furnished with.
Tina was very easy to work with and exchanged many emails with me answering my many questions before the trip.
We will definitely go back to Ixchel again and again and again!!

We had the honor of being one of the first couples to check out this beautifully remodeled condo, Nov 18-28, 2012............... simply SPECTACULAR!!!!!! One could not ask for more, for a vacation condo! Tina and Mike,you out did yourselves this time. So tastefully decorated............. makes you wish that it was yours!!!
We have been coming to Isla since 1999, so we have seen a few condos.......... this unit 610, is without a doubt , one of the premier condos on Isla Mujeres, period.

I recently stayed at this condominium with my cousin for a relaxing winter getaway. This was our second trip to Isla so we knew what we were looking for... a condominium on North Beach close to all the restaurants on Hidalgo Street. This condo surpassed all of our expectations.
First, Tina and Mike went over and beyond in assisting with the booking process right down to ensuring we had the proper shuttle information from the airport. Any questions or concerns that we had were answered and addressed with efficiency and courtesy (we had originally booked the two rooms then only needed one, and they happily accomodated us).
Between our booking and our stay the condo was being renovated and Tina sent us some pictures to show us the renovations. The renos look great! Everything is immaculate, modern and the decor has a fresh carribean inspiration.
When we arrived, we felt like we landed in paradise. The view cannot be beat!! Amazing ocean views from the shower, the bedroom window, the living area and of course from the large wrap around balcony. We loved retreating to the balcony for morning coffee and an afternoon cervesa/ siesta in the hammock.
The condo has everything that you could possibly need, t.v., VOIP phone, wi fi, and even some d.v.d.'s and books. The maids clean daily including washing dishes. Anytime we needed anything from the staff our requests were met immediately.
Having towels, beach chairs and beach service (food, alcohol at very reasonible prices) right out the front door was very convenient.
This property has a limited number of beachfront suites, if possible, it is well worth going beachfront.
We will definately stay at this condo again and would highly recommend it.

My wife and I spent a week in unit 610 celebrating our 12th anniversary. Everything in the unit was as advertised or better! We enjoyed being able to use the balcony at any point in the day since at least one side would always be in the shade. The hammocks were a very nice touch that not many other units have!
We were traveling with another couple that stayed in a penthouse unit at the Ixchel, so we were able to have something to compare to. Unit 610 was the best by far because of its ideal location and included amenities. The VoIP phone was a blessing! The other couple ended up needing to use it daily to check on a family member back home who became ill during our trip. The refrigerated water cooler and pantry with ice chests was a nice touch as well.
We were apprehensive about staying in Isla during the middle of summer... yes it was hot, but it was so worth it! The evening were very pleasant walking down Hildalgo in search of a new restaurant to try. Most evening we sat outside to eat even if air conditioning was available. We had an amazing time swimming with the whale sharks and visiting Isla Contoy. There happened to be a full moon during our stay and summer time is turtle nesting season. We took our golf cart out to the Caribbean side about midnight and were able to enjoy watching several giant sea turtles come to shore to lay there eggs.
We had an amazing week in Isla Mujeres and loved staying in unit 610. We will be back!!!!

Wow. Just wow. What an amazing 10 year anniversary my husband and two sons had in Ixchel 609/610!!!!! I have not one complaint. The condo is furnished beautifully with everything you could possibly need. Everyone in other condos was seething with jealousy because our condo was the best. The greatest thing about this condo is the wraparound porch which allows shade on either one side or the other depending on where the sun is. Also, the hammocks on the balcony were a nice relaxing touch. Ixchel I is in full sunlight in the afternoons and no one hangs out on their balcony the way that people in Ixchel II do. I'm a fanatic with my travel research and had a feeling 610 was the best and we were not disappointed! Great staff at the hotel too. Thanks Tina for everything!!! I'll be contacting you soon cuz' we're going back next summer!

This was our 4th trip to Isla and we were traveling with newbie cousins for our 40th wedding anniversary. Newbie cousins love cruises and my husband and I were somewhat apprehensive about a stationary trip booked at a property we've never stayed at before. We reserved Ixchel Units 609/610 directly from the owners, Tina and Mike, because we loved the layout of the unit and this guaranteed which unit we would have at Ixchel. Keeping our fingers crossed, we opened the front door and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the overall property was. Everything you would want in a vacation condo was included. From the unit itself to the hotel amenities and staff we were treated like very special guests. Extremely firm beds are common on Isla and with our cousin having a bad back, this was a concern of ours. We were very relieved to find the beds in this condo amazingly comfortable and very sleepworthy. The views from the wrap around balcony were priceless and we enjoyed sitting on our private balcony having our own special happy hours as the sun set each evening.

We had the pleasure of staying in this condo in April of 2012. It is perfectly located and the condo and grounds are beautiful! When entering the condo for the first time, I immediately knew that this was the right place for us! It was immaculately cleaned (which is the first thing I look for when staying away from home). The décor and furniture are tasteful and so comfortable! The kitchen is well appointed. The dining and living rooms are big enough to lounge in and eat. It is a nice feature to have free calls to the US and Canada, so that we could easily check in with people from home. The bedroom is so beautiful! There is a slider out to the patio as well as a large window, looking out over the ocean. The views from this condo are incredible! I think the bathroom was my favorite place- it was huge! You even have an oceanfront view from the shower! I loved coming in from the beach and showering while still looking out at the ocean! The balconies are fantastic! You can access the wrap around balcony from the living room or bedroom. There is plenty of seating (several loungers and two bar tables with chairs). We started and ended each day, sitting on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful view!
Everyone who helped us was fantastic! Mike and Tina ensured the process of securing the condo went smoothly and they were happy to give advice and answer any questions we had. We actually ran into the other owners (Mike and Pam) during our stay and they were awesome- very friendly and even showed us some of the sites in town! The condo staff was also very helpful, especially Mauricio (concierge)! He will happily assist you with whatever you need (tours, renting golf cart, etc.).
Isla Mujeres is a wonderful island! The beach at the condo is the best on the island for swimming but there is also a rocky/ wavy side of the island, which is also breathtaking! The town center, which is just a block from the condo, is perfect! Charming but enough to keep you occupied. There are also several other areas to explore on the island. I highly recommend renting a golf cart for the day. We didn’t have a disappointing meal during our stay and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from! I would recommend checking out Trip Advisor and Holly Eats.com to get suggestions.
Overall, the vacation was fantastic! Isla Mujeres is now my favorite vacation destinations and I wouldn’t stay at another other condo! We’re already planning our next trip!

We stayed at Mike and Tina's Condo at Ixchel II from May 30-June 6th 2012 for our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier. Their condo has a wonderful relaxed yet stylish feel to it and the location couldn't be better! Their wrap around balcony was perfect to watch the island sunsets with a cocktail! The staff at Ixchel II is absolutely wonderful. The concierge, Mauricio was FANTASTIC and helped us to plan our activities: swimming with the whale sharks, going snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, and deep sea and bay fishing. The people on the beach and the front desk were also wonderful in helping you find certain restaurants or bars or just guiding you to something else fun. Isla is a perfect place for people who want to go out and do activities and have a great beach to just lay on by the ocean. We will definitely be going back! Mike and Tina were also super helpful guiding us with transportation and where to go and eat and drink!

My husband and I took our 3 children ( ages 9, 9, and 7) for a week to Isla. It was our best vacation ever. SO beautiful, easy, safe, and fun. Our kids loved the beach and the pool and the activities. We loved the great location--convenient to restaurants and so many great activities ( snorkeling, Garafon, Dolphin Swim). We went for a day to the mainland to see Tulum and do Xplor and those were fabulous too. The condo is very clean and comfortable, the condo staff is so helpful, and Tina and Mike sent us so much great information. I would HIGHLY recommend Ixchel and Isla to anyone. We have travelled a lot and this is one of our top vacations ever!

This was EVERYTHING & MORE the owner said it was!!! We stayed in the lock off room Feb 3-8 and weren't disappointed we did! It was very clean, updated and the bed was comfy! The view was great and we enjoyed our stay on the 6th floor! Thank you Tina for being so helpful and honest! I will surely consider staying there again, when we return to the beautiful and refreshing Island if Isla Mujeres!!
