Really well situated near the centre of St Goustan and very quiet. On street parking nearby was generally easy but a few times we had to park in nearby public car parks.
Well situated for visiting most parts of the Gulf of Morbihan.
Accommodation was fine for two. At our age (76) we found the stairs a little difficult and the bed very low.

Excellent location for access to Port Auray, Carnac, and other surrounding areas, but smaller than it appears in the pictures.
Guidance to find it were a bit confusing, instructions to ignore the no entry sign except for residents would have helped!
Plenty of parking close by was available most of the time.
Some confusion over provision of linen, believe that the property is listed on two sites, one stating that linen is provided, the other that it can be rented.

The property was beautiful with everything needed to make a very comfortable stay. The house has a lot of historic character and charm and is extremely well situated, being within easy walking distance of some great bars, cafes and restuarants. We are very happy to recommend it to future renters. Valerie and Thierry were friendly and charming despite communication being made more difficult due to my lack of French language. We would definitely look to stay again in the future.

Small and cosy house near the port of St. Goustan with plenty of restaurants. Perfect base for many excursions throughout the South of Bretagne.

We had a really enjoyable week in this small cottage. It is well appointed and very comfortable. It is close to the restaurants of St Goustan and a short walk from the town of Auray which has really good markets, restaurants and shops. It is also well located to explore the coastal areas and the many local prehistoric sites around Carnac and elsewhere. Parking is tight but we almost always found somewhere and there's a car park 5 minutes away.
Highly recommended.

Clean, warm, extremely quiet and very well-located.
Plenty of free parking at 300 metres (on chemin de Bellevue).
Many excellent restaurant options within an easy stroll.
Geographically well-located for visiting many destinations in Brittany.

The house was perfect for the two of us in winter (spending maybe more time in the house than in summer). Cosy and really well set out with, for want of a better phrase, a lovely feel..
Five minute walk to the restaurants and bars in the port. Auray itself very sweet. Quiet and reflective in winter, we wanted to break up a big cities journey with a town that could offer some tranquility. Perfect. Suspect it rocks in summer. Le Chaudron restaurant extremely good.

Wonderful location near the old port of St. Goustan, where there are many restaurants with outdoor seating and views of the river, Our hostess and her daughter met us at the house and explained everything to us. Her daughter Matilda says much better English than I speak French, and that was a big help to us. Parking for our car was in the street close by the house. Finding your way into the old port area by car is difficult as there is road work barring the main approach. Enjoyable stay for us.

Lovely compact property in a very central position for St Goustin port and restaurants

If you ever happen to travel Brittany it is a must to stay in this very lovely equipped home far away from home.
We stayed for a fortnight and enjoyed each and every day, in November.
Conversations with Valerie were most friendly.
Is there really no point of criticism?
There is one. Since we were on holidays we had to leave.
But we will come back.
Thank you so very much for your hospitality

The house is lovely containing everything and much more than we needed. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and easy to keep clean. The kitchen and bathroom have been fitted to a high standard. The atmosphere in the old port is good, always something going on and lots of bars and restaurants. We are walkers so the climb up from the port to the house was not a problem but wouldn't recommend this property to anyone with mobility problems. St Goustan is an excellent base for coastal walking and exploring the Gulf.

We where very please with the Cottage in Auray. It was very clean, with a beautiful kitchen, and bathroom. We would certainly go again, and recomend it to anyone. It was one of our best Stays.
Auray is a great place. The port with all the Restaurants and Artists. The town its self, with the fish market, open everyday, and a great market by the church, Monday and Friday. Good shopping, and plenty of places to visit, not to far away, including Vannes Port, market day Wednesday, and Point Avon only a short drive, also Trinity le Mer, for boat Enthusiast.

Beautiful quaint little house in a charming village/port. Walking distance to the main city centre via a cobblestoned path lined with art galleries. Highly recommend, especially the local restaurant la Licorne.

We spent 4 great days at the apartment. Fully equipped, well located and very quiet, ideal to relax and enjoy the peace of Bretagne.
The owners are very kindly, lovely family. It's a very good option, no doubt.
Thanks for all Valérie
