Very clean and cozy . Susan couldn’t be any nicer. Arden is absolutely beautiful

This Arden property worked out perfectly for us. For a one bedroom cottage there was plenty of space and Susan made us (and our dog) feel welcomed. The yard was secure and it was great being able to let the dog out off leash.
Can’t wait to visit again for a different season!!

The property was much nicer than the pictures would suggest. Furniture was comfy, kitchen was fully equipped, and WiFi was strong (multiple Zoom calls at the same time with no issues). We stayed there with our two small dogs and it was quite convenient to have a large field in front of the property with another large park a short walk away. The house is only a few mins from I-95 so quite convenient. Overall, no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

My husband, Walter Weimaraner and and came down for the the Philly Marathon Weekend and the location was perfect for us. We have family and friends close by so we will be back to the cottage. Everything was set up for us and it was so quiet there. Susan is a super nice host.

Susan is an amazing host who met us upon arrival for an easy check-in and was quick to respond to our needs. We had two medium sized dogs and they loved running around in the yard. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay.

Awesome in Arden
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Arden in this lovely cottage. The property manager was friendly and helpful and reached out to us via text to communicate when it was helpful to do so. Arden, DE was founded as an artists' colony, and the neighborhood is filled with eclectic homes and sometimes very interesting landscaping as some of the homeowners use their yards to display pieces of art ranging from beautiful fountains to unusual modern sculptures. There is a pool in Arden available for your use at $20 per day. Also in the neighborhood is the Candlelight Dinner Theater, a semi professional theater company that offers a buffet dinner followed by a performance as well as comedy nights. If your stay overlaps with any of their performances, it is well worth going. Our dog enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and it is easy to go on long walks through the peaceful streets. If you are looking to stay in the Wilmington area, you won't be disappointed with this rental.

Great weekend!
This property was amazing and Susan was a wonderful hostess. The cottage was so comfortable and cozy. We only stayed 3 nights, but we were very pleased. I loved the neighborhood that the cottage was located in. Being from Arizona, we were so excited to see so much green . We would highly recommend staying here and would stay there again ourselves.

Adequate
This cottage was adequate for our needs. The property was clean and Susan and Emily were prompt and informative. The pictures of the location give a better impression however than the actual property. There is enough furniture but they lack any extras. There is no coffee table or end tables so sitting and relaxing with a cup of coffee is a challenge. Although there is Wifi the service is poor. There is no cable TV although it is a smart TV. Netflix is available as well as Sling TV but do to poor Wifi watching anything is a challenge unless you enjoy the buffering. The parking is also very limited, on street parking only, no driveway. There are several residence that also use what would be assumed was parking for this cottage. We had a full size truck and had a difficult time getting it off the street. This property has potential and I would not say we would not use it again. As I said it was adequate for our needs.

Six week stay to visit family and friends
Our 6 week stay was fine. The owners Susan and Emily couldn’t have been more helpful. I brought my 2 dogs and unfortunately that added a little stress. Susan allowed me to put up a temporary fence so I could keep my dogs from wandering around the property and separated from her 4 dogs. It all worked out. The neighborhood is great and was close to our many friends and family.

Remarkable village stay
There’s no place like the historic village of Arden, and Susan is great, as is her cottage. Close to the metro areas and burbs, but quiet and charming. I look forward to coming back!

Relaxing stay in Delaware.
This is a great place to stay for some rest and relaxation! Susan’s daughter was waiting when we arrived to show us how to work the a/c and to let us know that the Netflix was already all set up for us. The house was very clean and cozy and everything worked. There is a field right across from the cottage where a mother fox has two kits. We were not fortunate enough to see the babies, but we did see Momma Fox when we went to leave some food out for them. There is a beautiful stream right down the street from where we were and everyone in this small community was very friendly. When we met Susan she was so welcoming that I felt like we were old friends. My husband and I will definitely be going back again.

Sweet and Good For Us and Our Boxer Mix Beauty, Ella
Susan the owner is really available for your needs, though we had few. It is quiet, and we chose the back cottage, as it is fenced in, and wanted it for our dog. It was just a quick 2 day trip. There are meadows nearby and trails to go to with dogs.
Our priority is our dog, so we were happy. We went out to eat in Wilmington at nite.
