Nice unique unit, much more SF than typical NYC hotel rooms offer; kitchenette has microwave, range top, good size refrigerator, and dishware for four. Room was very comfortable. Close proximity to the 2/3 train and three blocks from B/C. The neighborhood is diverse and safe.

The property have very rusty kitchen equipment, dirty with rats roaming around the house.
TV not working, insufficient kitchen toiletries.

This room provided basic essentials for my family to visit NYC. There is a small kitchenette with stove burners, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and a few kitchen utensils. There is a bathroom, a kitchen table, one bed, and one pull-out futon. The side street location was quieter than the main streets located just a minute or two away. We sensed that the neighborhood was somewhat safe overall, though we remained vigilant. We loved the Exquisite Deli at the end of the street that had great food, and there is a grocery store just one block away. The host provided good communication. The best aspect of the room was its quick access to a main subway line and bus route that quickly takes you to Manhattan.

The only thing is we were told we were staying in Apt. 3 then Apt. 6. When we got there, someone was staying in Apt. 6. We had code to there space. Did they have code for ours?

Excellent location, just a few minutes from subway, restaurants, bars and stores. Apartment was as advertised. Entry code provided didn’t work but owner responded and resolved right away. Water pressure and temperature control in shower functioned poorly but otherwise place was very comfortable and a good base from which to explore NYC.

This was a great location. Within walking distance for breakfast. Easy travel. On street parking, first come first serve!

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The subway was a minute's walk away. Both the bed and the futon were very comfortable. I had to contact the host with a couple of questions, and he replied withing minutes. I'm hoping to visit again in the Summer.

It was a nice place, very convenient for transportation. Loved the fact of subway down the street from the house. Loved the experience.

Light and bright Apt. within a short distance to the subway. Was very comfortable with the exception of the shower... it took forever to get any hot water and to have any water pressure it had to be turned to either blazing hot or freezing cold. When we found the mid-point for temp. there was zero water pressure. Otherwise, the Apt. was quite comfortable.

A great short stay conveniently located to the 2 and 3 trains, as well as LaGuardia. You will be able to get anywhere via public transit, but I recommend walking and exploring the surrounding neighborhood.

I would like to suggest adding an extra blanket. Also, a couple of shelves in the bathroom next to the sink so guest can place toothbrushes, paste etc. on them will be nice.

Older Building, but great location and value for the money. The 2 & 3 subway are perfect for getting to central park, times square, broadway, and many others.

The apartment is exactly as pictured, very clean and affordable.
The subway is right around the corner from the house.
Owners are very friendly and helpful. You must bring your own soap but you cannot beat the price and convenience of this place. Highly recommend.

Our Stay at this property worked out well for us. It wasn't fancy or elegant. It was roomy by New York hotel standards and that was a big plus for us. Also it was an ideal location since it was close to the apartment where our relatives live. It was close to public transportation with a subway stop right around the corner. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. There were enough towels and toilet paper but no facial tissue. We only had to climb one flight of stairs to the front door and one more inside the building. The things that presented a problem were the cabinets were very high and I could only reach the bottom shelves. Luckily my husband is fairly tall. There was no closet or dresser just a tall cabinet to hang clothes in with a shelf at the top and bottom. The table and chairs were metal and whenever we moved a chair it was very noisy because the floors were wood and there were no rugs. There was a ceiling light and a light over the stove but no lamp anywhere that was appropriate for reading. In the morning we had to run the hot tap about 5 minutes before the water ran hot but it did eventually get very hot. There were water bottles in the refrigerator but please note this is not a B&B. We needed to bring in any food or beverages we wanted to have available. Over all it worked out reasonably well for our needs since we didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment.
