Sunrise Motel in Cody, WY

The location was good. The outdoor seating area was nice but we did not use it. The facility was clean.

Two of the three washing machines were out of order and one of the dryers. It took more than 2 hours to do one load of laundry because other guests were juggling their loads too. Front staff were polite but lacked a welcoming attitude. The pallet board steps looked tacky and our welcome mat was buckled. The interior was okay but I kept bumping into the ironing board every time I walked by the bed. Overall, I think it felt a little overpriced for the experience we had. There was just a tired feeling to the bedding and curtains.

Good location

The room smelled bad. Pool was cloudy and dirty. Room was not very clean.

We visit Cody every year and would recommend staying here.

Location was perfect and was close to everything, breakfast was fine.

Breakfast could have a little more variety but other than that it was okay.

Disappointing

Location , parking

Puddles, no bath mat, electric cords everywhere, no hooks in bedroom to hang things, no extra tp, no blankets, poor HVAC, poor breakfast, no rug for entry wet feet, hot water took 5 minutes, tub didn't drain well, only two pillows on a queen bed ( they did get more)

Disappointing

There was dust (and some paper and a lone sock) under the beds and desk. When we mentioned this to the (we think) manager, he came in the room 15 min. later, calling on his phone, with a broom. With this broom he wiped the dust and dirt with big swings from under the beds to the other side of the room (in the door area). Now the dust was scattered over the entire room.

Location, clean room, tub and cable tv. The bed was very comfortable.

It was a nice older motel and they had just opened up for season. Room was a bit musty smelling and there was no breakfast. It ended up costing as much as other motels that may have offered more, so the price was a bit high.

Overall the stay was good, great value

Room was a good size with a table and mini fridge that had an actual freezer in it. Clean room. It is an older hotel that has been updated somewhat. Staff was friendly and took care of everything right away.

The room did not have a microwave. This would be a nice addition.

Would not recommend! Plenty of other options in Cody Wy.

Staff who checked me in was unfriendly and matter of fact.....did what they had to do. Linen towels were not very clean. There was a crowd outside talking loudly enough to keep us awake until 2AM in the night. The next AM my car had been scratched with a mark (keyed) that will cost me $853 to repair as it was deep into the paint. We never stayed for breakfast but I would like to find who keyed my car that night. Sent an email to the motel with no response back. Plenty of other options in Cody Wy......sorry I chose this place.

It was ok, nothing special, optimal for one or two nights. Yellowstone is one hours from here.

There were no vegetables and fruits in the breakfast, which I was missing very much
