We were greeted by owner, Rob, as we arrived and welcomed to enjoy the living room and have coffee and snacks at our leisure. Our room was large and had an attached bathroom (the bed was extremely comfortable). The breakfasts were amazing!! There was a printed menu each day that listed the courses! Great coffee, fresh juice, muffins, a fresh fruit dish, a choice of two breakfasts each morning, great bacon, and gracious service! The location was just off the main road up through North Conway, with easy access to all of the area attractions and the loop road around the White Mountains. Many, many restaurants nearby. We would stay here again!
This is a very large, older, classic home, and we only encountered some slow drainage in the bathroom and the expected creaky floors. Being close to the main road, there was traffic noise, but that did not keep us from sleeping peacefully. We did not have access to a TV during our stay.

The Victorian B & B was super cozy. The room was adorable, large, comfortable, attractive, quiet, quaint and everything you would want or need. Great location, super delicious 3 course breakfast. Cookies, tea and coffee in the afternoon/evening. The hosts (Rob & his Wife) were absolutely delightful and interacted with us. Their stories were funny and interesting about the wildlife in the area. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
Can't think of anything.

The owner prepared a memorable gourmet breakfast. He should be a chef but definately not a B&B owner.
The owner called our room 'the Hippie room' which should have been our first hint that this was not going to be what we envision as a B& B. The entire house had badly worn furniture with leather couches that appeared cats had used them to sharpen their claws. There were dusty Christmas trees and decorations throughout the public area. The chests in our room had lots of deep scratches as did the dusty wood floor. The bathroom was the worst. The shower leaked onto the floor and resulted in rotten baseboards down to the 2x4 joist. The toilet faced the shower and only had about 10 inches of clearance for legroom. You had to sit sideways on the toilet. The toilet kept running. My husband tried fixing it but when he could not he reported it to the owner who just gave us excuses about how hard it was to keep things running in an old house. After returning from dinner I went to use the bathroom to learn the lights in the bathroom did not work at all. Again excuses by the owner about how guests kept breaking things. My husband said the GFCI outlet in the bathroom was tied to the lights and it was completely broken. The baked goods and breakfast was amazing but I would strongly recommend against staying in this facility.

Great location which provided easy walking distance to the main part of town. The property is set off from the main road, so noise was never an issue. In addition, the breakfast was excellent and a big treat from the usual continental breakfast, or faceless experience. The room itself had a missing floor tile in the bathroom, and a few repairs, but I think the charm and ambience made any of these small things irrelevant. So good, in fact, that I'm returning with my wife next month to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. When you factor in the reasonable cost, there's not anything to complain about.

We had a good size room with comfortable bed. The breakfast was substantial being 3 courses served to the table which was nice and there was a choice of 'main' course. There was free parking onsite and places within walking distance for dinner.
We have stayed in B&B's before in America and had some lovely experiences but sadly this one was not one of them. It could be a lovely place with some time and money spent on updating it. The house has character but lacks refinement and everything felt a little past it's best. There was a problem with the toilet in our bathroom when the flush ceased to work, the owner 'fixed' it and 2 flushes later it was broken again, he 'fixed' it again and it broke again, he did comment that it had worked fine for 14 years to which our response would be that maybe it was time to update it. The owner was not particularly approachable and we felt a little that he would have been happier if we hadn't been there.

Breakfast was very good. The owners were very nice. The bed was really comfortable. It was the first warm night and it was lovely to sleep with the windows open and ceiling fan on
The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Toilet and walls of bath should have been cleaned better. Corners of bathroom were dirty

Having to leave when our holiday ended!!

Location was great. Staff was friendly. Offered breakfast even though I didn't eat it as had to leave early.
Walls are thin so can hear people in the next room. I'm used to city living so didn't bother me.

It was a nice peaceful place to stay and the breakfast in the morning was far beyond my expectations. The owner was very helpful and pleasant. I was extremely happy with our stay.

The location was close to a lot of restaurants and very easy to get to. The breakfast was very good and the homemade muffins were great.
I wish I would have read the reviews of this inn before I booked it for my husband and I. The website pics were nothing like the place looked in person. The outside of the inn was so unkempt. Paint peeling, over grown landscape, old moldy outdoor furniture, etc. This should have been an immediate sign as the inside was absolutely filthy. Looks like it hadn’t been vacuumed in forever. Leaves and dirt all over the stairs leading up to the room. Our door knob was broke, smoke detector had no cover and wires hanging. The sheets were clean as I really inspected the bed but do not walk around without slippers or shoes as the floors were so dirty and huge dust bunnies everywhere. Then the bathroom… no hand soap to wash your hands, around the toilet was nasty and the floor… that made me want to vomit. There were hairs all over the floor and the rug had hair and stuff on it too. It was so difficult to be comfortable and get cozy here because of how gross everything was. Nice guy but he really needs to do some updates with this place and hire a good cleaning person.

The property needs a jolly good clean.

Large king room with a jacuzzi tub.. didn’t work the first night but was an easy circuit breaker fix the next day when I told Bob. Bob makes homemade muffins!
A matter of preference but the bed was hard. Also the coffee pods were not replenished during our stay.

Nothing.
It was dirty, remote was broke, table top was missing (he said it was broke) couldn't see tv from bed, only wooden kitchen chair to sit on to watch tv, 2spiders in room, dust and cobwebs everywhere, dirty mirror in bathroom, carpet in hall not vacuumed, books on bookshelf caked with dirt, door to kitchen was open it was filthy in there, owner was not clean and dirty dishes were still on dining room table at 2:30 when we checked in, and deck entering office was painted red but hardly had any paint left on it. The place was gross. We didn't stay for the breakfast because the kitchen they cooked in was so filthy. My husband kindly mentioned a few of these things to the owner and would he credit some back. We didn't even eat the breakfast and he snapped. He told us to get out and that we were nothing but a pieces of #hit people and we weren't welcome. He walked us right to the door. Told me that my house was worse. We left afraid. HAVE NEVER STAYED AT A WORSE B&B EVER and I'm 71 years old. We book most of our travel thru Booking Com. If I were them I would not advertise for this B&B. It will hurt their reputation .

The location is on the edge of the main part of town and is walkable to the station and a good choice of bars and restaurants. The breakfast was the only redeeming factor in what was otherwise a very disappointing experience.
The whole place is in need of attention, from the "abandoned" outside furniture to the dirty interior. Our bedroom was comfortable but the en suite bathroom was a total disaster, with a large hole in the wall below the basin exposing all the pipework. a large piece of black plastic taped to the bath tiles to stop the shower water leaking down the side of the bath, a window which wouldn't close properly and a very rusty floor-level heater. The communal areas looked and felt dirty and there was clearly no daily cleaning regime as biscuit crumbs on the sofa in the lounge were still there the following evening.

Comfortable bed. Plenty of room. Good breakfast. Pleasant owners. Nice setting. 2 bar/restaurants just a couple of minutes walk away.
Lighting in our room was poor due to some light bulbs not working.

Limited parking, tiny television that didn't get any channels

This is a nice little bed and breakfast and the room rates are very reasonable. The breakfast was really delicious as well and while I didn't see much of the owners, they were polite and professional. If you're looking for a cute place to stay in North Conway, I recommend the Red Elephant.
Everything was basically fine and, for the price, what I expected. There were no glasses in the room but the owner speedily got me some. No toiletries are provided, so be sure to bring your own. The room was comfortable but if I'm going to split hairs... I had to pick some up (hairs, that is, and not mine) from the bathtub before use.

The highlight was the gourmet breakfasts provided by the owner. The best breakfasts we have ever had while travelling. The owner truly loves to cook and the breakfasts were so wholesome and ample that we skipped lunch on both days.
The cleanliness was NOT up to the mark at hall. Found hair on the bathtub from previous occupant. A wall tile was loose which i kept at the side lest it fall and injure us. The towel rack in bathroom was loose and broken. The owner should have made sure these were fixed. Floors need to be vaccumed and mopped more thoroughly. The kitchen where the owner cooked was an absolute mess as was the fridge. Needs a thorough spring clean for hygiene reasons. On the day we arrived, we had to make our way in and to our room. Owner was not very forthcoming with tips and advice and was bored to do so that day. next day he was better. however, when guests have just two nights, they want to make the best of their time. So we had to visit the chamber of commerce where the lady was amazingly helpful in planning our trip. Wifi did not work in the room AT ALL. Owner pretended that he did not know. We had to sit in the dining room to access it.

The Mountain View was nice and the breakfast was very good.
The room and especially the bathroom was very small. The toilet did not flush well. We asked for ice and got it 30 minutes later. When it was delivered we were told we could get some more later. Later, we rang the bell 6 times and no one answered. The TV in the room was 12 inches high and 15 inches wide. Not much better than an iPad screen. The breakfast was great but it may not offset the negative other features.

The location was quiet because it was off the busy main street. The breakfasts were high quality and the host offered a nice variety throughout our stay. It was also nice that a Keurig coffee maker (with a variety of pods) was available for after hours. The room had an overall charm to it that we found relaxing.
We understand that places are short-handed, but it was disappointing to not have some of the basics covered: no trash removal during our stay, no attempt at bed or towel refresh. The biggest turnoff was the bathroom sink that would not drain during our entire stay. We mentioned this to the host, but nothing was ever done. We were without several lights in the room including the main room light since the batteries to the remote were dead and the host never offered to replace them after we inquired about new ones. Finally, even though this suite boasted a Jacuzzi tub, it was quite hazardous getting in and out for showering. A non-slip tub mat would have been helpful.

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh strawberries with cream, home made blueberry muffin and two excellent choices of main course
Nothing I can think off
