99 problems but a B*%ch ain't one.

Good location, price

The shower was broken, so either lobster boiling heat or cold. Hair dryer was dead, ac had a broken vents gaps ypu could see outside. Room smelled like smoke, toilet moved when you sat on it. Room felt dingy.

Very friendly staff, perfect location for our purposes.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke, cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired, walls were thin- listened to shouting and fighting through the night

Very economical helpful and pleasant,clean and comfortable.

The owner was very nice and I have stayed there 3 times prior.The motel is also the cheapest in Grandforks .The place is clean comfortable and quite.If I need anything the owner is very helpful as well as his wife who was so nice and even gave me a grad present for my son at one of the stays.The last stay they didn't offer coffee anymore because there is a Tim Hortons that went up right beside them.I still would have liked the option of coffee in the room,All in all its always a place I would rent because its economical and the owners are always pleasant.i would recommend them before all other motels

Not having coffee there anymore because tim hortons is now beside them so they no longer have coffee in the rooms It would be nice to just wake up and have coffee there instead of having to go next store other wise no complaints. Misspelled some words but if your reading this I highly recommend Motel 99.

Location and convenient parking lot

The safety was compromised as the stairs to the upper floors did not have any lights. The room did not look as cleaned and equipped very poorly, there were only 2 items: tv and small fridge. The bathroom did not have a floor mat to step out of the bathtub. Only 2 towels were provided for each guest. The linens did not look clean and the blankets were very thin and filthy. Breakfast was included into the booking, but was not provided. The office clerk was rude when I asked about breakfast and told me that I could complain about it.

I have canceled the booking at the arrival to the motel because the price I was asked to pay at the motel was higher compare to my booking. When I showed my booking to the motel manager, he got angry at me and said that price is different now.

the bathroom was especially dirty- the toilet seat had to be cleaned before use; there was obvious hair dust, and grime on the floors and baseboards ; towels were stained; there was hair in the bed; the hair drier did not work

Avoid this property

Don't bother booking here. The owner doesn't respect the booking.com reservations. According to him, booking.com is listing his accommodations at lower rates than he wants. So he bills the customers at a higher rate than what's quoted in their reservations. If you attempt to argue, he mocks you "Are you poor?" For the rate he wants, there are way better options.

It was a bad experience. Will not go there again.

There was no breakfast offered

The bathroom was filthy, there was no coffeemaker, the floor was not clean and the room smelt smoky even tho it said NO SMOKING. No one was at the front desk when we needed them at 8:30 a.m. and we had to phone em and wait half an hr for them to open the door.

We chose not to stay as there was an insect that looked like a cockroach in the room.

There was no breakfast. We had enquired but said it was not available.

We felt the response of the staff to our complaint of an insect that looked like a cockroach in the room was completely dismissed with no concern for our concern. We were told, "It is not as if there is a bear or a tiger in the room". This of course was true but no concern for our complaint. One insect is a sign of an infestation. The staff very angrily refunded our money.
