My stay was great. We have another booking at same house & I would like to change my reservation from Sug.

Several members of my family and I were in the Kilmarnock area for a reunion and visits to familiar places. We had a wonderful stay in this home, filled with interesting antiques, art pieces, and comfy furniture.
Plus was its location right up a block from an awesome coffeehouse/bakery where we purchased breakfast items.
The neighborhood was very peaceful.

I feel the the check-in/check-out could have been handled a little better. There was literally a note on the refrigerator with very little information on it. When I asked the property manager for instructions she was very short and curt. The kitchen was not very clean and ants were everywhere and someone left food in the refrigerator, not very professional.

We stayed at the house and it was perfect for our weekend celebrations of a dear friend's son's high school graduation. So convenient to Main Street and just a few miles from the graduation celebration stop. Comfortable house and very clean. Would stay there again! Thank you for having us.

Cute older home within walking distance to the little downtown area of Kilmarnock. Pictures are accurate for what you get.

You'll like this house in a quiet neighborhood and close to shops and restaurants. The kitchen is clean and has everything you need. The decor is eclectic and artsy, you'll want to wander around and check it out. Quiet, clean and comfortable.

We stayed here for the second time and it was so clean and easy to stay here. Minutes from the ball park where our son had a tournament. Perfect for two families. Thank you for having us again! We will be back!

The house had everything we needed for our short stay. It was close to shops and restaurants, and the decor was very sweet!

This home is in a prime location, ideal for families with younger children. Walking distance to grocery store, coffee shop and Main Street Kilmarnock. My children 11-14 loved it and we did too. We’ll come back.

This is a beautiful and cozy house that my girlfriend and I stayed in over a weekend visit! The location is great with everything on Main Street within walking distance of the house. The house is clean and decorated beautifully with antiques and knick-knacks. The owner was kind and prompt to respond when we communicated with her. Will stay here in the future!

This was such a quaint, charming home and welcoming. We enjoyed the sunrooms and the big dining room for eating and games at night. The location was perfect as it was close to everything. Would stay there again. Had a wonderful time.

My husband, sister, daughter and I all stayed her for a surprise visit to my grandparents for a long weekend! It was amazing! There was tons of space! We loved this house! My husband are even talking about starting to come once a year for family vacation! Sue is wonderful and so kind! You will not be disappointed!

What a wonderful home! Nicely decorated and clean, quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking for two boats. Loved the fire pit. Sue was great in the planning process, had no issues at all. Just a great fishing weekend!

Overall, the stay was wonderful! The house is in a perfect location walking distance from restaurants in town. The check-in process was easy and the house was clean and comfortable.

We were in town for a birthday celebration in White Stone. The location was perfect as we just 10 minutes away from the venue! The house is full of charm and personality. So many cute rooms to see. Unfortunately, other than to sleep, we spent little time in the home but were very impressed with what we saw.
There are various places to eat, in the kitchen, dining room and an enclosed porch. Master bedroom has an en suite with 2 bedrooms upstairs along with a second bathroom.

Very cute Virginia house. We had an enjoyable stay!

We came to stay a long weekend when temperatures were set to be over 90-100 degrees. Day of check in host let us know that you can’t turn the ac any lower than 20 degree difference from outside. And the ac still couldn’t keep up. It was cooler to go sit outside at night then try to sleep in there. Lots of breakables and antique toys so if you have tiny ones this isn’t a fit. The wifi was basically non existent unless you sat in one specific spot and the whole area down there was a dead zone for sprint so wifi was pretty important to check on our pets back home. The electrical was outdated and dangerous. Either outlets didn’t work, sparked , or you had to turn switches on and off to keep the power going. My husband sleeps with a cpap and the plug by the bed kept turning off every few minutes witch is extremely dangerous with those devices. We reserved 4 days and stayed less than 20 hrs.

We were in the area to visit an elderly family member. It was lovely to return "home" in the evening to such a cheery place. The photos don't do it justice. We also loved the convenience of walking into town. I look forward to returning.

What a lovely home! There were only two of us, but it would be a wonderful spot for a family gathering. The owners were very responsive with any questions, responding within minutes. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed this property and had a great time in the Northern Neck. We loved the way the house was decorated, enjoyed the fire pit, and could walk to grocery and restaurants. I will recommend this place to everyone. Also, the host was very responsive with any questions i had.

Charming older home in well established neighborhood with short walk to shops, Tri-Star grocery store, restaurants and new Kilmarnock Brew pub. Places in home to gather together at dining table or living room or curl up with a book in the sunroom or glassed in porch. Outdoor seating areas with fire pit an added bonus. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The property was well kept. My friends and I enjoyed our selves while staying at the house. I loved that it was close enough to enjoy activities in town and go to Hughlett Point a couple of times.

We had a great stay at Sue’s place. It was super easy to find the house and Sue’s instructions were easy to follow to get in. The house is walking distance to a grocery store, cafe, and the downtown area of Kilmarnock. We enjoyed the garden. Clean, cozy, and well styled - we all loved our stay and would definitely stay again if I’m back in the area.

Great clean place to stay.

This is a cozy, but spacious cottage. It's decorated and furnished nicely. Room to gather together, yet with room to get off by yourself.
My second stay here and I hope to be back again.

The house was so cute and perfect for our family. Lots of space. The owner was responsive.

accurate description of property. Other than spotty cell phone service it was a great location for our needs

Stayed for the week of Thanksgiving to visit family and friends. Loved the location!

What a great house and so close to downtown. Very quiet neighborhood. The host was very attentive and responded quickly when needed. I would most definitely recommend and stay here again.

We had a wonderful girls weekend in the beachy bungalow. Plenty of room for three adult women. The kitchen had everything we needed for a quick meal. The coffee pot is drip and there are filters along with cooking basics like cooking oil, condiments and sweetener. We enjoyed spending time on one of the two enclosed porches, knitting and chatting and on the large hand-carved dining room table playing games and noshing.
We did have some trouble charging our phones. Due to the age of the house our plugs kept falling out of the sockets downstairs (well used sockets I suppose) and plugs in bedrooms were hard to access for nighttime surfing and charging.
All in all a wonderful getaway in a cute small town with an actual main street.
4.8
Great location and everything we needed for a weekend stay.
4.8
We enjoyed our stay. The home is just a block away from the main part of town and in a quiet neighborhood. The house is spacious with lots of room to spread out.
4.8
Overall the property is in pretty good shape and centrally located to downtown Kilmarnock. There’s some squeaks and creaks as an older home but has some charm to it. Only add to the property would be some guidance as to which light switches work which lights!!! Value for the money!

Very nice stay
We very much enjoyed our time in the Northern Neck, and we liked this property. It was well located in the town, and a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. Two small downsides for traveling with young children: the rooms upstairs were very bright and the AC only cooled off the house so much on a really hot day. Not really faults of the property. Otherwise, it worked very well for us! Would stay again.

Charming Home
We really enjoyed our stay at Sue’s home. It’s very charming in the way she decorates and furnishes it. There was plenty of room and the location is great to the downtown and other amenities. We hope to stay next year.

Kilmarnock Experience
An older home but you get to experience in town, neighborhood living that gives you an opportunity to get to know small town Northern Neck Virginia. Sue was wonderful to work with.
