Revel in the panoramic, unobstructed views of the Atlantic from the front porch and interior of this Bald Head Island sanctuary. Situated close to a beach access, this is a great vacation spot to unwind listening to surf song. The front sun deck and deep wrap-around covered porch beckon you to catch some rays or rock away the hours enjoying glimmering seascapes and the sounds of South Beach waves hitting the shore. "Cottage" is misleading as the inside of this bright open-floorplan home is spacious! The light-filled living area provides the perfect spot for snuggling and conversations. Anchored by a decorative fireplace, you'll love this spot's (and the rest of the home's) reclaimed wood floors, white shiplap and beamed coffered ceiling. The nearby handsome dining space is surrounded by windows and houses an elegant table. Nearby, a large gleaming granite island not only provides plenty of prep space but also accommodates five at its breakfast bar. The recently updated and enlarged chef's kitchen, boasting stainless appliances and a convenient adjacent bar area, has been thoughtfully stocked with an abundance of cookware and bakeware for the gourmet enthusiast. There are three well-appointed bedrooms and baths on this floor. The first two are King suites, each with their own private bath. The other is a bright bunk room, sleeping six, and accessing the other full bath. Upstairs, you'll find two additional bedrooms. One is the Primary King Suite with its own ensuite bath and an ocean-view balcony where you will spend every evening savoring the sunset! The other is a sunny Queen. It utilizes the nearby full hall bath. Sea Oats is pet friendly-so you can bring your canine family member with you! Located almost exactly in the center of the Island-close to all BHI's amenities-Sea Oats Cottage also features a gas grill, an outdoor shower, the use of two four-passenger golf carts-one is enclosed and includes WWP's 24/7 Property Manager Assistance Line-which means you can reach needed help even after hours or on weekends. Make your dream of watching swaying sea oats against blue water a reality, make a reservation to stay at BHI's Sea Oats Cottage! (There’s a one dog limit on pets at this home.)

Evenwe’ve been coming since 2017 for 2 weeks on each visit. We love the fully equiped kitchen and the glorios view from the Master bedroom. We treat itas our own. though we had several aggravations early, we have really enjoyed our two week stay. The weather was great, along with the expansive views of the ocean. We also loved the evening sunsets and the magnificent blue moon. WPP was great in responding to our issues.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is well equipped and nicely decorated/renovated. It was clean and perfectly located within the island. However, it is listed as an oceanfront home and even though there isn't a home in front of it, there is a road, albeit very close to the beach, but also a big dune. When sitting on the front porch from the main living area, all you see is a dune. You will see a nice view from one bedroom upstairs, but it's a bedroom porch. I think it needs to be noted in the description. One other suggestion is having a queen bed in the twin room upstairs would be very helpful, leaving only one room with twins. I would recommend this property if you don't care about the view or the twins in two rooms. Other than that, very nice stay.

We are the owners of Sea Oats cottage. This winter we did a lot of routine maintenance to make the house safer and better. Touch up paining, replacing some boards, and other small things like that. The golf carts were given a full inspection and going over and are ready to go. Our happy place is all ready for the season. We miss it when we are gone! We hope our guests enjoy it as much as we do.

We have been vacationing on BHI for many years and have rented a variety of properties. Sea Oats Cottage is our new favorite! Beautiful home, comfortable layout and furniture, well-equipped kitchen, lovely ocean and sunset views. Simply perfect! We hope to visit again.

House is lovely with great views. Only complaint was the construction on the beach. Huge ugly pipes and bulldozers going up and down the beach even on a Sunday. We called to ask why this information was not disclosed as it had been going on for months we found out. WWP said they were not aware of the situation which was absurd as the agents are spotted on the island constantly. I also saw reviews from other visitors complaining which I googled after we arrived. We felt the rental should have been discounted but were told they could not do anything. At a minimum the situation should have been disclosed when we booked as I spoke with wwp asking specific questions about the rental.
