This chalet is managed by the owner. You are provided with a direct telephone number & if you have any questions or problems he is very quick to reply to a message or speak to you giving a really personal touch. The chalet is well equipped with a lovely kitchen & shower room. The double bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on whilst away from home. My stay was just out of season so very quiet & peaceful. I didn't visit the beach but has a picturesque walk to the shops & amusements. Would highly recommend & will be sure to visit again šš

We were self catering. The chalet was clean and tidy with good cooking facilities, the front windows gave a great view of the surrounding area. The beds were comfortable. A good shower.
Our main problem as pensioners with disabilities was that with no car we had a lot of walking to get to local shops and the beach. The town provides poor maps for visitors.

Location good,Owner was very polite and helpful Overall look of the property quite modern and clean.Nice little touches, tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, toilet roll, rubbish bag all left by the owner which was nice.
12 minute walk for my two small dogs and I to the beach which was amazing at dawn.
Chalet was very hot and stifling, could do with a blind or something on the front door and at the side windows where the kitchen is to block the Sun.
Being 5ft 2 I had to tip toe to see the bathroom mirror.
There was a cover on the mattress in the main bedroom. I pulled this back to have a look at the mattress and it was severely stained with urine so I couldnāt sleep on it.
I pulled down the bed settee in the lounge which is faux leather. It was very dirty so I had to clean it before I used it.I didnāt have a good night sleep unfortunately !
Couldnāt get telly to work, Owner did say to call or message if there was any problems, but I didnāt want to bother him anymore than I had already.I had a problem with key box which was my own fault and with the internet service ! Iām sure he would have been happy to sort it but I decided that no telly would probably be a good thing.

The chalet was very modern, comfy beds, large shower cubicle, modern and well equipped kitchen, host had left tea, coffee, sugar and other useful items for our stay, that was very much appreciated, spotlessly clean on arrival, the host sent a message saying that we could access the chalet early, a lovely chalet on a quiet site, no parking issues

Perfect location, beautifully clean chalet, cosy and warm. Everything we needed was included. A welcome pack with dishcloth, bin bags, tea towel, loo roll, kitchen roll was left for our arrival. Great takeaways nearby. Lovely walks with our dogs, felt safe. Easy check in and out. Friendly owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon. 10 out of 10 from us!!
Only the weather!! But can't hold anyone accountable for that!!!

The property is well proportioned and ideal for a short stay.
Every thing has been taken into account, be it cutlery, plates, cooking equipment, etc.
I didn't meet Mike but spoke to him and found him to be very accommodating and helpful.
Would 100% recommend to anybody.

Mike was an excellent host who was communicating with me from almost 72 hours prior to my stay and cleared all my doubts as it was my first stay at Great Yarmouth. The beach is just around 15-20 mins far which made this stay more enjoyable. Also it was quite a chilling experience as the temperature dropped to around -1 but Mike went a day prior to our stay and helped us by keeping the heaters on so that we were comfortable. We had all the amenities like pots to cook, microwave, kettle and also an induction stove. The house is an excellent place to stay for a handful of atleast 4-5 friends or a small family. As we are nurses we went late and got to the place around midnight where we couldn't get through to open the key holder and Mike explained to us and was available at that part of the night too. Mike makes a great host and I'm happy that I chose 245 Sundowner as my holiday home.

Dog and Family Friendly.. The park and location of the property is excellent. Beautiful South facing property so we had the sun all day. The layout of the property was cosy. The location excellent for access tobshops, beautiful beaches of Hemsby, Scatby and Winterton - ideal for dog walks. Great location for trips to Yarmouth, Gorleston and beyond. Shops, pubs and amusements on your doorstep. Very friendly owner who is helpful. Bed was very comfy.
Nothing I disliked to be honest. Could do with some lamps in the bedrooms or wall lights above the bed and a vacuum would be great.

Had everything we needed for a short break away. It was clean and comfortable. On arriving there was a small bag on the table that contained things I had forgotten to bring so that was very much appreciated.

Well situated for touring the area
A couple of items i would have liked to see in the chalet towel rails in the bathroom and a bed side lamp in bedroom

It has all thatās needed for a couple with a little dog on a self catering holiday by the seaside. Itās detached too, unlike most of the chalets, so lots of windows and natural light.
Only that there arenāt enough hooks to hang things on.

The chalet itself had everything you could need, was clean and tidy, just a little on the small side but it was cozy and comfy and that's what is most important for us.
Other people on site did not always keep their dogs on a leash, be extra vigilant.

Very nice chalet. Clean and modern. Great value.
There is a need for additional coat/hanging rails at front door and in bathroom.
Bed was too soft for us but that is a personal preference

It was in perfect location and very reasonably priced ..Also very comfortable.Owners were very helpful and although we didnāt meet them they sounded very nice .
We just felt the settees were a bit low for getting up and down on as we both got arthritis so it was a little difficult..But other than that very nice and good quality of rest of things in chalet ..
