The shower was filthy, the outside of the windows covered in cobwebs, one bedroom door looked like a dog had been stuck inside and tried to claw its way out. The place had a distinct and unpleasant odor that they tried to mask with Glad plug-in room deodorizers.
The location is great, but the conditions were just sketchy.

Right next to the beach. Loved having the patio with chairs to sit and enjoy looking at the ocean. Conveniently located to towns nearby. The only downfall is the steep stairs in the house

The property on the outside needs some serious help. The inside was old but nice. Kind of had a musty and pet smell. My biggest complaint was the accuracy of the pictures. The stairs are steep and narrow. There is a small step into the kitchen and downstairs bedroom. The beach access is steep and there is a rope to hold onto so you don't fall. If I would have seen these things in the pictures I would not of rented this house. Not good for old knees and a 8 month pregnant lady.

This home is very close to accessing the beach however the trail down is not recommended for balanced-challenged folks. If you don't mind driving a bit, there is a small parking lot down the road with much easier access. You do have an ocean view from the balconies of this home.

Stay was good. Need a little updating. Furniture & appliances are old.

Very rustic. It met our needs and the kids had a great time.

I loved the price for this spacious property. It accommodated 9 people fairly. We love how close it is to the beach. The kitchen appliances and dishes were very well stocked, and equipped with everything we needed. The only disappointment we ran into with the amenities was that the fireplace was “off limits” (with a note requesting we do not use it), and there was no VCR. I know, but once we seen the rad collection of VHS tapes in the closet we wanted to teach the children about the rewind struggle. Unfortunately they did not have a VCR available, otherwise the stay was JUST what we needed price, and location wise!! Thanks!

It's got a great view from the upstairs bedroom and a porch to sit and admire it. It's really close to the beach like a 1 min walk. It's a decent house, a bit dated but clean.

Super close to the beach! We loved listening to the ocean every night while we fell asleep! The extra studio with bathroom was perfect for the kids to hang out after a day on the beach! We really loved the balconies as well!

We had a say beach access. Centrally located to go into Lincoln City or down to New Port! Perfect 3 day weekend.

The house is really a great place to stay except it is need of some attention with light bulbs on the outside of the house and upstairs bathroom had clogged tub and toilet. Unfortunately we contacted VACASA with our issues but never heard back from them. But the house was very clean, well stocked kitchen except needs a few more eating utensils but great place for accommodating our group. I would stay here again.

Every floor in every room is uneven. The carpets need to be replaced or deep cleaned the stink of dog pee. Also the throw pillows on the couch need to be replaced for the stinky reason. I will not rent again from Vacasa… I will stay with A1 Beach rentals

Code did not work, on front door or to get key, 3rd bathroom is in a room detached from main house, no laundry supplies, many lights and switches did not work, kitchen cabinets smell, oven broken only heated to 287 degrees derailed our menu, microwave rusty disgusting and dangerous, fireplace front falling away so could not use fireplace for fear of smoking out the home, towel racks broken and missing with holes in the walls, base board heat displaced from wall in living room, filters on heater were so full of dust and dirt, blinds did not open or close and were disgustingly dirty, side door door knob did not lock, upstairs bathroom door would not close all the way, vanity drawers missing in upstairs bath, broken fan in upstairs bedroom. I am a return customer with Vacasa and this property does not meet their standards! Seeking compensation.

It was close to the beach, it was a decent size and worked ok for our trip.

Cute house meets all your basic needs. The layout is a little quirky with really steep stairs. The carpets are close to needing to be changed but you can’t be the proximity to the beach access.

This property was in a really nice location, with ocean views, and a very, very short walk to the beach. Overall, the house was really nice, and kitchy-cool. The only downside was that there were a lot of little things that needed repairs, and the simplicity with which the repairs could have been done left you frustrated with the fact that they hadn't been done at all. For example, the upstairs bathroom door didn't close all the way, the towel rack wasn't properly installed/attached to the wall, and the shower drained very slowly, so you were standing in a pool of water the whole time. Hardware throughout the house was lose. There's a dangerous lip between two parts of the house on the lower floor. The way the doors/insert are installed in the fire place is almost certainly an extremely dangerous fire hazard. The frustrating part is that a half-decent handyman could take care of all these things for about $500 and half a day! With just a few repairs, this place would be a real gem!

This is an amazing location! I could see the ocean from my balcony and fell asleep to the sound of the waves. We will definitely be back

I loved almost everything about this place! So roomy and lots of extra bedding!! Had everything you needed to cook with, also. The only downfall was that the whole house smelled of mold and the ground seemed soft in a lot of spaces. I'm assuming the house had flooded at some point.

I apologize for this. I normally don't do this but we paid a lot of money for a house that we could only partially use. When we first arrived there were 2 different key boxes and a door panel. we spent 10 minutes just trying to figure out what code went where. instructions were not very accurate. when we finally got inside the first thing that hit us was the smell. It smelled so strongly musty and dirty that we had to open all of the doors and windows in the house for the rest of the evening. The smell in the second room where the washer and dryer was smelled so awful that we could not use it all. We tried to put extra bags and things that needed to be stored in that room but on the second day we had to remove it all because anything with fabric was picking up the smell of the room. two of the kids had to sleep on the floor because that fold out bed in that room could not be used. It was a very disappointing trip. Expensive waste of money. I reached out to VACASA more than once on this situation and did not receive a response. I will not be using this service again. I could have gotten Hotel Rooms on the beach for less money and better service.

Beautiful area
The house is located in a very beautiful area, short walk to a sort of private, beautiful beach. The house is old but equipped with all needed to have a good stay. Not good for people with mobility issues as the stairs for the bedrooms upstairs are quite a challenge even for the ones with no mobility issues. The view from the bedroom and terrace upstairs is beautiful. We had a good time, very nice neighborhood and again, a beautiful beach very near by.

Homey and Comfortable
Our family was quite comfortable in this cottage across the street from the Pacific Ocean. We had easy access to the beach and great walks in both directions. The house was quiet (except for the waves) and felt secure. Our only complaint was how hard it was to figure out which switch turned on what light.

The Crooked Dirty House
Dirty, sticky, bloody, unlevel, dangerous, partly inaccessible, partly inoperable (electrical), partly non-private (broken blinds), and 1/3 uncomfortable beds.

Great Location Quirky House
The location is great for the price. The bedding is soft, the towels are good quality. Parking for three small cars at best. Laundry room has a futon couch and bathroom. It could be used as a guest room in a pinch but not ideal. The stairs to the two upper bedrooms is not ideal for the elderly. Very quirky artwork on the walls. Tell your friends about it when you see it.

Dirty
The house is outdated, it was dirty from the moment we walked in, there was dirty towels on the floor in one of the rooms, there was sand on the floor. There is an musty smell all around the house. Not worth what I paid for. There was dog hairs all over. It was the worse experience. Not happy at all.

Home very outdated , needs allot of work the upstairs deck not safe to walk on . The decor is definitely outdated musty spell throughout the home my husband had to fix blinds to close in the master bedroom I’m a interior decorator and my hubby is into construction so we are a bit more picky than others might be however I would recommend someone do some work to make home more cozy and comfy so guests could enjoy it more .

This beach house was just the right size for our group. It was amply supplied with everything necessary to cook our traditional Thanksgiving meal and all the other meals. There were plenty of towels for bathing/showering. All in all the house was really great. We ran into trouble upon arrival as the thermostat we were directed to turn on did not turn on any heat. I called to report this problem and a maintenance person came right away but could not get the pilot light lit and instructed us to use the baseboard heaters. He said there would be a repair person sent out Friday. We also turned on the heat in the studio only to have it go off and not work when it was time to go to bed or the rest of the weekend. The upstairs toilet plugged but resolved itself then the studio toilet also plugged but resolved itself. This house and furnishings are somewhat dated but everything was clean and it had everything we needed. All in all this house was very comfortable and I would consider staying here with a large group again.

Dirty musty house
Loved the view from the room. Hated the stairs. Not easy to walk up and down the stairs for my 7 and 2 year old. The kitchen was still dirty and so was the slider door upstairs.

After a few glitches like no barbecue grill and trying to figure out television and dvd player things worked out okay. Really appreciate Jack's help in locating the grill and getting us propane for it as well as taking care of tv issues. This is a nice little get-away but wished we would have stayed a couple more days. Three days was not enough.

This lovely location, just one row back from the ocean, is marred by neglect of cleaning and maintenance.

We had a great relaxing get away from the crazy. Nice home. Close to beach. Lots of extras we did not think to bring. Wanting to stay away from crowds this was pleasant home to use.
