Borrego Springs is a small, dark sky community in the middle of Anza-Borrego State Park. You will have easy access to amazing hiking, star gazing, golfing, bike riding, and more! Relaxing, sunny days and warm, beautiful nights await you in this beautiful community.

You will have everything you need for a quiet, restorative getaway in a beautifully restored mid century home with carefully selected mid century furnishings. You will be able to view the stars from the king-sized Tempurpedic bed in the master bedroom and enjoy lovely outdoor spaces with amazing views in the front and rear of the house. Watch the rabbits and coyotes roam just steps from the house while you enjoy beautiful sunrises. Inside, enjoy HDTV and high speed internet. Feel free to cook in the well equipped kitchen or go out to one of Borrego's many fine restaurants.

Very comfortable place to stay. If you enjoy star gazing, it’s the perfect place. About 5 minutes out of town. Borrego Springs is a dark sky community, no street lights to spoil your view. Great hikes in the park, took a botany walk to see desert plants.

This lovely and charming mid-century modern home features a great combination of original character and contemporary updates to provide a wonderfully comfortable stay. New floors throughout including cool black-and-white tile in the kitchen, and newer HVAC pair with mod fixtures and furniture, and beamed ceilings. Kitchen is fully stocked for just about any need. More than enough room for two, could easily accommodate four guests. The huge wall of windows facing north to the patio and desert scrub afford an incredible view from the living room and morning coffee on the patio was a great way to enjoy the desert air. Breath-taking expanse and abundance of stars at night. The hosts were friendly, gracious and responsive through check in. We completely adore this home and we hope to be back! A couple of notes: The shower head in the master bath is quite low; taller guests might appreciate the shower stall in the other bathroom. Opening windows early in the day is a great way to get cool air into the house, and the ceiling fans do a nice job of keeping things comfortable.

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at this scenic and comfortable home. It is equipped with everything you would need for cooking and daily living. The view from the living room and patio is spectacular, with open desert backed by tall mountains. We enjoyed frequent walks through the desert neighborhood and in the nearby state park.

A few maintenance issues that keep us from rating this a 5 but we still want to stay here again. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood, yet close to town. Back yard faces open land, great views of it from wall of windows. Outstanding integration of desert landscaping with mid-century interior colors.

What a lovely home! Exquisitely appointed Mid-Century decor that never sacrifices comfort. Colorful space with gorgeous views, a fully equipped kitchen, and no detail left undone. Guest will feel welcomed and tended to during their stay. We’ll be back!

The interior of the house feels mid-century, but it is actually an improvement. I think it's what mid-century designers had in mind but didn't have modern materials like the black countertop, the flooring, and the 2 giant sliding glass doors that showcase the beautiful view.

We have visited Borrego Springs many times and stayed at several different properties on VRBO but this was our favorite. The interior is well-decorated and very, very comfortable. Beautiful views out the two side by side sliding glass windows. A king size mattress so comfortable that we found ourselves checking who made it. This is just a wonderful property all around and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I only wish it was longer than a week!

The house is itself stylish and extremely comfortable and well equipped with anything you could possibly need. The owners left lots of information including their suggestions of the 12 best things to do while in Borrego Springs and they were spot on with the ones we followed. Lovely time spent in the back area outside watching the birds, bunnies, sunsets and the splendid star filled sky each night. This is a wonderful place to stay.

After months of confinement and teleworking we needed a rest not too far from San Diego. Borrego Springs seemed a good option and we were most fortunate to find this house. All the reviews are accurate but the photos do not do justice to the place, which is even nicer and welcoming than it looks on the website. There’s no details that don’t reflect the good taste of the owners and the house and particularly the kitchen are fully equipped. And I appreciated a lot the wink moment when i picked Bukowski’s anthology on the bar tray.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. We could have brought more people because there were two bedrooms but we enjoyed having the whole place to ourselves. The views were gorgeous with lots of cacti and desert plants surrounding the property. We were able to see stars from the backyard and use the bikes to explore the neighborhood. We spent most of the day time at the property and it kept us cool from the heat. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook there. The owners were also super responsive whenever we reached out. Overall, a really wonderful stay!

We have rented this home several times over the last few years. Everything about the house was great as usual. This was the first time we stayed in May. It was very hot during the day, 95 degrees, but the nights were spectacular. Warm outside and perfect for stargazing. To beat the heat we hiked most days up in Culp Valley. It was 10-15 degrees cooler there. Highly recommend Borrego Springs and this house off season. We had a wonderful time.

The house is lovely and very well equipped. We love the midcentury style and colors. It is welcoming and very pleasant -- we felt right at home. We went to Anza Borrego to let our son take some pictures of the night sky and the location was perfect. The only problems we had were minor and easily resolved. The house could use a little maintenance. The vertical blinds in the bedroom blinds are missing one slat and don't close properly making the room very bright early in the morning. The bath drains constantly and can't be filled and there's a lose electrical socket in the bathroom which looks a little unsafe. The electronic door lock is a little hard to use. You have to pull very hard to position the door to turn the bolt and on one occasion we were unable to open the door after multiple tries. We got it eventually but this was at 1:00am after a night trip to take some pictures and therefore a little alarming. Other than these relatively minor problems, the house is a delight.
