Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of lake living at 'Saunderosa' this beautiful three level home; over 3800 Square Feet, which is fully furnished/equipped and surrounded by large shade trees with private water frontage with a brand new 42 ft dock, brand new deck off living area, and patio areas that offer both sun & shade. It has all the entertainment you will need both inside and out.With the 3 level floor plan easily accomodates multiple families. It is located in a private cul-de-sac, inside an airpark community with a private strip making this area very eclectic and charming.A Great House to come and enjoy the lake, time away with your family and friends.......Come Make those Special Memories........
The main level has an open airy feel. The fully equipped kitchen is ready and waiting to prepare any meal you would like. The dining room has a very large table enough to accommodate 8 people with exquisite view of lake, along with the kitchen bar that has 3 additional stools, this flows into the living area that has a vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace, which burns real wood, and a 55' flat screen TV with a blueray player for your favorite movies. Lots of dvd's there or bring your favorites! This room also has two large patio doors that open onto a raised deck overlooking the bottom deck and hot tub area. Both decks have the same gorgeous view of lake. Also on side yard lots of grass you can enjoy, crochet, horseshoes, badmitton....bring your bikes lots of great trails nearby in State Park or bike in neighborhood. There is a basketball hoop and room to have a game with friends and family.
The upper level of house is where the luxurious master suite is which offers another wood fireplace. A 46 inch flat screen tv above fireplace mantel. The master bath has a garden tub and a standing shower with seperate dressing area and double vanity sinks with granite counters. Then there is a loft which is the perfect place for peace and quiet to get work done or enjoy a book.
Then enjoy our nostalgic lower level GAME ROOM complete with a full bar, pool table, poker table & chips, dart board and brand new pacman cocktail table & golf video game. We have a table set up for those who love puzzles and card games. Something for EVERYONE! This level also has a bedroom with beautiful lake view and full bath. And just in case you are having to much fun and feel guilty, there is a workout room. The bottom level then opens out onto a brand new sun deck , all new patio furniture to relax, hang out, view the lake or read that favorite book,. There's a new grill area and fantastic hot tub overlooking the lake.
Bring your own boat or jet skis, there is boat launching nearby. We have DEEP WATER year round so no worries on a dry cove. Or you can rent a boat by the day or week; Lake Norman Marine & others specialize in pontoon or jet ski rentals. Local rental companies will deliver to our dock. Perfect for those who want to wake up and jump on their boat for a day of fun on Lake Norman. The dock area also has the perfect little lakeside screened in gazebo where you can play games and enjoy your favorite 'beverage'. If you dont want to boat, you can always fish, swim or float in this cozy and safe cove, or even rent a kayak. We're told the fishing is fantastic right off dock! We also have paddleboat, 2 kayaks and 1 paddleboard for your enjoyment.

We had such a fun week at this lake house. Our group ranged in age from 12 to 95 and Saunderosa offered something for everyone. The house is situated in a quiet cove, perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The game room was a bonus during rainy periods and we appreciated the many games available. Everyone thought the beds were really comfy, the kitchen was completely stocked, and the variety of deck chairs and tables gave everyone plenty of space to be outside in sun or shade. The house is obviously well maintained and was immaculately clean. I can't say enough good things about this home--one of our favorite vacation spots ever.

We were constantly surprised and amazed at all this house had to offer! We are cooks and had everything we could have asked for the beautifully equipped kitchen. The house itself was comfortably furnished and nicely decorated. There was no shortage of books, games for indoors and out, and water toys. The decks outside were also furnished nicely for dining or just hanging out. The outside space provided both sun and shade options. Everything inside and out was spotless. We highly recommend this beautiful property. Shopping and dining options were also convenient.

So many fun toys! wonderful set up on the water for enjoying the outdoors whether it be in the hot tub or by the fire pit, or on the dock or in the water on the flotation devices or boats.

This beautiful property has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean with clear instructions on how everything works and what is included in your stay. Communication was great and all of the information in the notebook was helpful. We look forward to booking this property in August!

We found the home hosted by Toni to be immaculately prepared and well stocked with starter supplies. We enjoyed the spacious deck areas (when it wasn’t pouring down rain 😢. Lots of entertainment areas to keep us busy. Top notch VRBO if you ask me.

The property, the host, the location; everything and everyone was spectacular!! I could've written this review a week before my stay because Toni is just that amazing of a host. And the property, oh my word, absolutely beautiful, extremely peaceful and serene. My husband and I fell in love with the property and each other all over again at the property. We did not want to leave. We will be repeat visitors. Saundersoa is an exceptional place to vacation. Toni is the epitome of what a host should be, I love her; so amazing! For anyone wondering if this is the place . . . it is, go ahead . . . book it. You won't regret it.

The property is prettier than the pictures look. The location was a little far out there but fine if you are okay with cooking. The fishing was great and the lake was calm. The hot tub needs to get hotter faster. Otherwise a great relaxing weekend

Beautiful inside and out! We loved this property and the owners easy process . We had some bad weather from hurricane and they made sure we had all of our bases covered if possible power outage. Luckily the weather was on our side and we got some great days on water, patio, game room, and hot tub. Thank you for great memories at this beautiful lake house,

We had a great time. It was my sisters and spouses that came. Property owners and Property manager were extraordinary. F2 tornado and no electricity for 24 hr. Owners were very responsive, Took wonderful care of us. Great area, wonderful swimming, kayaking, boating, amenities, beautiful home. I can't say enough about the home nor the people. WONDERFUL!!!

The property was wonderful. Location is perfect in a quiet cove where we felt comfortable having the children swim and play. We made some incredible memories with friends. Several first time waterskiers ang some fun memories of those who were not so successful sking. The neighbors were welcoming and kind and we enjoyed some conversations with him and got some good information from him. The hosts were very responsive answering our questions extremely quickly. In some cases before we even asked the question. A safe quiet area to relax and enjoy each others company. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

We had a wonderful week at Lake Norman. We had a great dock for our pontoon and plenty of room for 6 adults. The game room was very fun on the days it rained or after all day in the lake. Close to marinas with good food too! Property is clean and host was very nice.

We had a wonderful, relaxing week at the incredibly well stocked house with all the touches of home you could possibly ask for. Super comfortable beds, stocked with games and fun things to do plus, peaceful cove area for great swimming and kayaking out to the main lake. Extremely responsive and helpful homeowners. I highly recommend staying here with your family or a few friends. Would definitely go back.

If you are looking for a well appointed, beautiful home with outstanding views, look no further. Saunderosa has it all. The home is comfortable and easily accomodates groups of friends, family and even fur babies.
There are many amenities including paddleboating and kayaking, pool, darts, and tabletop pacman! There is even a closet full of games and puzzles. But the very best thing is being able to sit and enjoy lake life and all the beauty that entails.
Will definitely come back again and again. Thank you for opening this gorgeous home to us.

A beautiful home within a beautiful setting. The attention to detail provided by the owners/property manager was outstanding and made the the stay that much more care free. I would 100% recommend using this home for a vacation and we will definitely be back this summer!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. We had a family gathering and it was a perfect set-up with plenty things to keep the kids and adults busy. Toni was very responsive and provided great suggestions for local restaurants and things to do.

The place was even better than we expected! The home is lovely with lots of space to spread out - both indoors and outdoors. The home had lots of 'extras' . We needed more time to use everything available to us. Our purpose was to have family time together and the great room easily accommodated all 8 of us. I would definitely stay there again, perhaps in the summer to take advantage of the water sports.

There are no surprises at this property. It is just as wonderful as everyone says it is and the owners are extremely helpful. We were in town for our son’s wedding at Vesuvius Vineyards and this was a great retreat to come back to and regroup from wedding festivities. We will come back again soon to be able to really enjoy this home and all that it offers.
