The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, and the large dining table easily seats 8-10 people. This level opens to an outdoor deck with gas grill, and deck furniture to enjoy the ocean breezes, dramatic sunrises and sunsets, and incredible stargazing. No mosquitoes!
The first floor (ground level) has 3 bedrooms – two with queens, and one with a full and twin. There is also a full bath with 2 sinks, and a laundry/mudroom area with washer and dryer. This floor opens to an outside covered porch in the front, and an outdoor shower to the side.
One-half of the basement level is fully furnished, with queen bed, 2 twin beds, sofa, loveseat, and TV/DVD. This space also includes a second full bath.
Bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs and beach umbrella are provided. The ocean breezes keep the house relatively cool, but there are fans in every room if needed.

Quiet and pristine Tom Nevers Beach is 1 mile down the road (no lifeguards). Our family had an amazing stay! The house was the perfect size, with plenty of room to spare. It was a relaxing retreat for us all and we can’t wait to come back again next summer!

Great location and plenty of space for the family. Water views and you can even follow a path for a nice long hike to the park and beach at Tom Nevers.

Shhh ... don't tell! This property was a perfect home for our large family. We brought five kids (and a mother-in-law) to the island and couldn't have been happier with our choice of rental homes. The upside down house and finished basement were a terrific layout for our busy clan. Every square inch of the home was spotless and cleaned beautifully. The kitchen was the well stocked and had absolutely everything we needed for meal prep. We made almost all of our meals at home and greatly enjoyed our time together in the kitchen! The furniture in the main living room was perfect for our large family to gather at night or for the teenagers collapse during the afternoon hours! We biked to the house from the ferry terminal on the first day because our car had not arrived yet. It's a fairly long bike ride but even our ten year old was able to manage it. We greatly appreciated the shed to store our bikes for the week. The house had beach chairs and towels and even sand toys. I'd say the first floor porch was my favorite nook of the house but the outdoor shower might just take the cake! We couldn't have picked a better home for our week on the island! Our host was responsive and wonderful! Thank you for everything!

We’ve been visiting Nantucket for 8 years, and Lynne’s house was by far our favorite vacation spot. The layout of the house was perfect for our family of 4, the views from the deck were breathtaking, and the bedrooms were comfortable. We appreciated the newer linens and all of the amenities. Had it not been for COVID, we would have enjoyed inviting a few friends to join us for a couple of days, and the house would have had plenty of room. Thank you for having us! We hope to return soon!

This property is everything we were looking for. It was clean, comfortable and beautiful! We were a short drive to Sconset and just a bit longer drive to town and Nantucket's other beautiful sites. Lynne was extremely helpful in providing information and the house came with a lot of extras (beach towels and chairs, board games and books, etc) that were so helpful to have available during our stay. We feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend a week in this home on the beautiful island of Nantucket! Thank you!

We had the perfect vacation and could not have asked for a better vacation home! The house is beautiful, the property was lovely and the owner was fabulous to work with. We spent many nights on the deck, enjoying the breeze and the stars. The house was well equipped and the outdoor shower was the perfect end to an awesome beach day! Thank you to the owner, for making this visit to Nantucket the best one yet!

We had a wonderful week at this Tom Nevers' rental. The house was recently renovated and it is beautifully furnished and very well equipped with new kitchen items, music, tv's, washer/dryer. The owner's were generous with offering beach chairs, umbrella's, and towels so there was no need to haul all of that over which was fantastic.
The main floor is upstairs and there are sweeping views of the conservation land and the ocean from the living space as well as from the deck, which also offers a spectacular sunrise and sunset. The breezes are amazing even on a midsummer's day. The living space is very open and family friendly, and the deck is an extension of this space and has lovely outdoor furniture and a grill. The main level has 3 bedrooms which were perfect for our family with extra beds for visiting friends. The lower level is perfect for teenagers, an au pair, or extended family as there is a separate sitting area with TV. The photo's on the website are a clear representation of the house and grounds.
In regard to location, Tom Nevers is on the east side of the island and accessible to a variety of nearby beaches. The owner has lots of Nantucket materials and maps to help plan your vacation, and was incredible before our trip offering suggestions on day trips and restaurants. She was very accessible by phone or email. There is also a wonderful caretaker who was a wealth of information about the island; he helped us with any questions or issues that arose. The Tom Nevers beach is quiet and close and very private (about a mile away) and isn't on the town beach maps, so it was really secluded. A great spot for a walk or morning jog and for a late afternoon swim. You pretty much need a car on the island unless you are in Nantucket town, and bikes are a plus.
Hope to be back next summer!
