About this cabin rental
We look forward to providing you with a renewed sense of rest and relaxation by being able to offer a reasonably priced and wonderful getaway at our Moclips Beach Cabin just steps away from the ocean beach. Bring your favorite book to read and snuggle by a cozy fire in our wood stove. Or bring a blanket down to the beach to watch the sun set. We do offer books to read and to take home with you.
Relax in our large comfortable cabin. We are able to accommodate a small group or a large crowd with a second kitchen upstairs. We offer a fully equipped kitchen downstairs with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, a large living room with a wood-stove (bring your wood or buy it at the local store).
For Razor Clam Digs, you will need to bring your own clam guns or shovels along with your clamming license then enjoy fresh clam chowder with your own clams! Clean your clams with our portable clam table (located in the garage) and hook it up to the garden hose to avoid getting sand in the kitchen sink!
The cabin is located on a large double lot available for outdoor games or backyard campfire and yummy s'mores! The Moclips Cabin has two small bedrooms down stairs (one with a double bed and the second with a single bed.) The bathroom downstairs has a grab bar for safe access into the tub. Nice flat screen TV in the living room. The cabin has wifi access and basic cable. The Surf House espresso cafe in Pacific Beach has free wifi and great cinnamon rolls. You can get great cell service (for most carriers) while walking on the beach. Cell service is available in the cabin depending on your provider. Ocean Storms my temporarily affect local internet service.
The upstairs offers a spacious great room with a new queen size Beautyrest Firm Mattress. A fun Kids-room is available in a separate room with two single beds. The upstairs is complete with a kitchen and bathroom. Nice small deck upstairs with a peak-a-boo view of the ocean. Lots of great books for reading are available. Get ready to just kick back and relax. Beach chairs and towels available.
The cabin has a 2-night minimum (3 nights during holiday periods). Exceptions made be made during non-holiday periods. This is a pet-friendly cabin with a dog bed and separate dog bowls available. (Since we are a pet-friendly residence, individuals with extra sensitivities may elect to choose a pet-free VRBO to rent.
Firewood is not provided for your VRBO stay so please remember to pick up your wood for an outdoor campfire or a cozy fire in the wood stove.
A non-refundable cleaning fee of $75 and a 11.8% tax will apply

This cabin was ideally located near the beach and welcomed us with our pups. We loved that dog dishes were provided and the kitchen was stocked with any appliance you can imagine.

Our stay was for 2 weeks and the stay was great. Only thing different world be curtains upstairs on door & windows. Possibly a better fan upstairs it was very warm some nights. Overall we loved it

There are so many cool things about this property: location-2 blocks from public beach acces path, the decks and views from the house are peaceful, the kitchen is well stocked with necessities and many extras, the bonus room upstairs is really cool for kids, the upstairs has a fully separate living area, including a kitchen.
Another thing is this property is VERY dog friendly. This is great for people traveling with dogs and who don't mind all things dog, including the very pungent odor of dog, dog hair everywhere, including all over furniture and the smell
on blankets and beds. I can imagine it would be wonderful for some people, and I anticipated a bit of dog friendly elements, but this took it to the next level for me. I was not comfortable in the setting due to smell and the hair. Like I said I may start asking how dog friendly a place is when it's listed, just to be clear. For what it's worth.

Charming cabin just a stones throw from the beach. You can tell the owner puts a lot of effort into making the place very home-like. Very clean and instructions for everything in the unit. Great place, and will stay there next time I go to Moclips!

The owner did a lot of work to make this a pleasant place. It's clean, the kitchen is stocked with a gazillion gadgets and there is incredible counter place. Everything is comfortable, furniture, beds. Inside is a bit dark as the windows are small; also, there's nothing much to look at. However, it's close to a remarkable, enchanted river trail, and the beach is right there. For clamming and surf fishing it's good.
When I was in Moclips it rained most always and sometimes sideways. No worries, I'd clam or walk, or just sit in my car and read on the beach.

The Moclips Beach Cabin is the perfect place for a PNW ocean experience. It’s rustic yet has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the warmth of the wood stove and short walk to the beach. Myra made our visit stress free with kind, clear, and thoughtful communication.

The house was very nice. Had all the kitchen equipment you may want to use. It was a great place to bring our dogs with us. Going along with the dog theme, I wish there had been a fenced area for our dogs. They need alittle off leash time outside. Beside that it was a great place close to the beach. I would stay there again.

The beach house was very lovely and comfortable. We mainly stayed on the main living level and that was plenty space for our two adults and two babies. Everything was labeled and easy to find in kitchen.

It was perfect. Loved the comfortable feeling of the house. It ended up just being my husband and myself. The third member of our party had to work at the last minute. I appreciated that you even thought about the dogs. The food bowls and bed were greatly appreciated.

Plenty of room for an extended family gathering. Very clean, and has a spacious kitchen. 5 minute walk to the sandy beach. Room layout a little quirky, but fine. This is our 2nd time booking this house.

We thought the house was great, plenty of room. I really really liked the upstairs bedroom. Great view and so much light! Kitchen had absolutely everything you would need and then some!! Location was perfect. Very private and really close to the beach.

This two-story Cabin is Great. There is plenty of room, a Modern kitchen, plenty of beds, and memorable views.
There is an excellent view of the MoClips River with ducks and fish all swimming together. The upstairs balcony had great views of the river to the east and the Ocean to the west.

We had a great time at this property. The property was clean. The rooms were unique in how they were placed in the house. I enjoyed the space. I also enjoyed how well it was stocked for dog guests as well leashes, dog bowls, pet beds, and gates were all provided!

My husband and I and our two adult sons plus our wonderful German Shepard had the most incredible time. Not only does the house offer so many cooking amenities and is stocked so well with everything from shampoo & conditioner to dog towels. The location is incredible with the river in the back and the ocean in the front. So peaceful and quiet, yet you have Seabrook, Pacific Beach, Copalis and Ocean Shores within reach if you need interaction. The peekaboo porch is my new favorite spot and we can't wait to return. I would recommend this highly to anyone looking for an awesome retreat!

Upon arrival we were surprised by the new stairs and added height of the house, but once inside it was just like we remembered. Had a great stay, the view from the deck is even better now. Already reserved for next year.

We came out for a birthday weekend getaway and the cabin was a perfect spot to hang out with friends, wander the beach, and just enjoy the outdoors. Games, good food, and great atmosphere. Would definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. It was so cozy just like home, we didn't want to leave. It was perfect for our family of 6 and the walk to the beach was very easy. Kitchen was stocked very well just missing a pizza roller, maybe a garlic press. We just relaxed so much, it was a nice vacation.

My friend and I absolutely LOVED this perfect getaway cabin. The location is spectacular with just a few minutes walking to the beach, privacy, and a quiet cozy fire while listening to the ocean. The Host plans everything you may need with generosity. Definitely coming back as much as I can.

We were a little late to the Labor Day booking, and were pleasantly surprised to find a last minute place to run to the beach. We had never been out to Moclips before, but wanted a place to stay at the beach and didn't love the idea of the swarm of people at Ocean Shores or Long beach.
This place worked well for us. Plenty of room for us and allowing the dog to stay was a huge win. The house was clean and was stocked really well. We found a fun little place down on the river to skip rocks, play in the woods, and let the dog go nuts as well.
Just a block from the beach was a huge win for us. We spent almost all the time at the beach; long flat, easy for the kids to splash around, fly kites, and play with the dog.
Just about 2 miles down the road Seabrook is really growing as well. Cute shops and some food options.
Only two negatives, and neither of these are on the house specifically or the host:
1- Make sure you bring your groceries with you; very limited options within 20+ minutes. Aberdeen offers some grocery options, but it can be a zoo to get in and out
2- The neighborhood is a bit tired, and a few questionable houses. The neighbors we met were helpful, sweet, and mostly retired folks that have been around for some time. However, there were 2 houses very nearby that were clearly drug houses before (looks to have been cleared out very recently). I mostly bring this up to not let this dissuade you from the stay. It was just surprising, and with little kids could be off-putting if you just check it out online. We felt good and safe, in what is a quiet tucked away neighborhood.
Reasonably priced, close to the beach, well stocked, and dog friendly. We would stay here again!

Such a cute, great sized cabin. It was much bigger than we expected. Very well stocked. Great place for our dogs and kids. Our son thought the upstairs cubby over the garage was so fun and cozy. Will be back!

Relaxing beach visit
It is a flat, 0.1 mile walk to beach access. Quiet neighborhood, could hear the ocean from the deck. Deck was wonderful -perfect place to relax in the sun. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was spacious and well stocked. We all enjoyed the house very much!
