This home STR number 0254 was built in 2014. It is clean, comfortable and in the heart of downtown Salida. Walk to all activities - shopping, eating, art galleries, antique stores. The arkansas river and riverside park are 1 block away. Kid friendly, pet friendly! This home has 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms have queen beds, 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds), there is a blow-up mattress that sleeps another 2. There are 2 full bathrooms. The master bath has a soaker tub and separate shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and everything you need to make home cooked meals. There is an outdoor patio area with a bbq grill. There are 2 off-street parking spots and room for other vehicles on the street.

This property was perfect for our stay as we worked the fiber festival in the nearby park! Everything was clean and accommodating for us! Next time we might bring our dogs as it would have been a great place for them to. The best part was seeing the triplet fawns out the window playing.

This is a great property and had many provided details...coffee, filters, hand soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pellets, laundry soap, shower soap etc. It is in a great location to downtown and Riverside Park. It also provides two parking spots. The bed in the front bedroom could use some softening and the pillows could be plumper. There were no casserole dishes (9x13 or 8x8) in the kitchen, nor were there mixing bowls for making muffins or for scrambled eggs. We are a little more particular about the kitchen dishes since our granddaughter is Celiac and we have to cook our meals at home and not eat out. Otherwise this was a wonderful cottage. Hope to be back.

Family of father, son and grandson (2 adults and 1 teen), each had a comfortable bedroom. House was nicely updated with modern conveniences and located only a block from downtown. We enjoyed skiing at Monarch Mountain and then taking walks downtown for dining and shopping. Parking behind house had easy access to back door. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Wendy was wonderful and very responsive. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need. Weather your hiking, skiing or rafting, your next next adventure is just outside the front door.

The location is fabulous. We walked into town often as well as across the river on the trails. The drive to Monarch for skiing is beautiful and under 30 minutes. It was a great place to spend the holidays with our adult children and daughter-in-law. Would definitely stay there again. Wendy was very responsive to questions we had. Great place!

Excellent stay! The location of this house to everything in downtown Salida is fantastic! The accommodations are complete with laundry facilities and everything you need in the kitchen. Walking from there to everywhere is the way to go. Thank you very much...again!

Really liked the property location, and that is was very well stocked in the kitchen, and it had a working fridge water dispenser! I used that a lot. The check-in and check-out procedures were very user friendly. I would recommend this place!

The home is absolutely what we were looking for! The check in process and communication with the manager was seamless. We enjoyed the wi-fi and tv apps. The kitchen had all the functionality needed to make meals. The location is amazing! We were able to enjoy walking to the riverwalk and playing at the park with the kids! Wendy took the time to make a binder with all kinds of helpful information. The BBQ grill was perfect. I would suggest a privacy type fence and maybe a grassy area? Thank you so much!

We loved the open floor plan of the house and the proximity to the downtown area and Riverside Park. All very walkable. Dog-friendly was also a plus. Will definitely reserve again in the future.

We loved staying at this house! It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location is The Best! Right across the street from the park and Riverwalk and a block from downtown. We enjoyed the riverwalk trail, walking to town and all the wonderful restaurants nearby.

Such a wonderful home for our weekend in Salida! Especially loved the well equipped and clean kitchen! House was a great temperature, all the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Thank you for extra towels and pillows, too! We loved being right next to Riverside Park for the playground and walking! For a property that allows pets I didn’t notice any signs or smells of other pets, which was also nice!

We had a wonderful time visiting Salida and white water rafting. We were able to walk everywhere (except the rafting) from this location. My highest priority was location, and this home fit the bill perfectly.

The property was well organized with many thoughtful amenities (shampoo, laundry soap etc.); more consideration could be given to back yard and patio furniture due to stability on the rocks. Since there is no a/c the airflow made the night’s unbearable. Beds and furnishings were also extremely hard and uncomfortable, which caused sleepless nights. The location was great and convenient and the home was spacious which allowed comfort for all family members to relax.

We loved our stay in Downtown Salida! The home was as described and very clean. No problems with the WiFi. Kitchen was very well stocked. The host even had some local Brown Dog Coffee in the cabinet for us! The location is great for walking anywhere downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

This 3 bedroom home suited our needs very well. It was well appointed and clean. The location was great as it was very close to Riverside Park and a couple of blocks to F Street. We rented this house for my two sons and their family. There was plenty of room for everyone. Would recommend to anyone looking for a house in Salida.

This home had most everything we needed. The location was excellent for walking downtown and to the river park. It was a definite benefit having the off street parking. It was dark inside -- had to keep all the blinds closed because of the heat (AC would have been nice). We had a few minor glitches (will be emailing the owner about those), but overall we enjoyed our stay here.

I would not stay here again

I would not stay here again

This property is dark, poorly maintained, and filthy. The only good thing is the location. I’d rather stay further out of town than stay here again. Every inch of this house is dusty. The carpet is worn and disgusting. I tried to vacuum and the vacuum didn’t spin. The towels have stains all over them. The shower head in the master is basically a calcified water hose and the master bed is creaky, old and ungodly uncomfortable. The pillows are completely flat. Oh and my favorite part is that literally all but two window locks were busted, and unlocked. I had to take a knife to them to lock them.
