We love Duck Key and have stayed before but in a larger house with multiple families. This time was just the 4 of us which is my husband and I with our 15 & 17 year old kids. The dock was great fishing (and swimming) and the pool was amazing. All of the pots and pans, sheets and towels were provided and we did laundry while we stayed. (Nice laundry machines) we would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely time. Very good communication with owner and property manager. We came during the holidays and there were some cleaning issues and missing supplies but the owner and property manager were very responsive and took care of everything quickly even though it was a holiday. The house is an older property so it has typical wear and tear of an older rental but there was plenty of space for a family of four and the pool and landscaping were pristine. This rental does not have a dish washer and it’s just not fun to hand wash everything. Bring your own dish scrubber unless you want to use a used one from previous guests. The rental rate is really driven more by the exceptionally beautiful location, not the overall quality of this rental property.

We are a family of 4, with a primary goal of fishing in the Keys. We found Duck Key to be wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The highlights of this property are: 120 feet of canal waterfront (this is huge!), large pool and great outdoor space under the tiki hut and in the lanai. It’s on a cul-du-sac, with plenty of parking. Open living, dining, kitchen with great views of the canal. Excellent matresses. The master bath is cozy. The main bath is large. Being in the Middle Keys is great, we enjoyed this Keys from Largo to West and felt like we were in the best spot. We rented a boat from Marathon and it was great . Our duplex neighbor (this is a shared property) was awesome, had trailered his boat from home and we still had a ton of canal space with the two boats tied up. This was their third straight year in this property! We used the grill and the bait freezer that’s outside. Ed, the local property manager is awesome! Great resource and caretaker! We would stay here again!

This is a great location. The pool is big plus.

Unit clean and tidy, sleeper couch is worn out and the pool was not maintained until the day before we left. The property manager said they just changed Pool company and on the last day of our stay it was clean and sparkling. I would stay here again we just would have liked to use the pool sooner. I paid extra for a pool and was disappointed it was green although it was cleaned before we left.

The property was just what we were looking for.

This was our second time staying at this property and we loved it even more than last time, had both sides rented for our family and my sisters family, pool was great, safe quiet neighborhood, plenty of space since the weather was wonderful we spent most of our time outside, would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed the beautiful pool, eating on the lanai, and being on the canal.
We had a great stay and we hope to come back soon.

Nice house on a nice clean canal. Walking distance to hawks cay where we swam with dolphins. 30 minutes to marathon rented a 27 foot boat had no problems docking. I will stay here again for sure

Once again this place did not disappoint. Even though we were here for hurricane Ian it was still a very enjoyable stay. The place is always super clean with everything you need! Lots of fish, manatee and iguana to entertain us. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Always beautiful scenery.

We enjoyed having the pool after long days on the boat. Plenty of space for parking. We had a 31’ boat and we had plenty of space.

Great property!! The pool was great for our group. We had friends on the other side so we had the entire property. Plenty of parking and great dockage!! Would stay again.

This is the 2nd time my family and I have stayed here. There is the best of both worlds with boat dockage on the canal (for all of the fishermen in the family) and the pool just steps away ( for all the kiddos). As hot as Florida can be, the ocean breeze keeps it cool enough to enjoy being outdoors all day. The pictures don't do justice to the amount of space the unit provides. There is ample room to accommodate plenty of large parties. We were a family of 6 adults and infant and 5 yr old and it was perfect!! I will come back in the future without a doubt!! PS...there is a boat rental company literally across the street with prices as low as $200 a day!!! Well worth it!!! (Fish N Fun) Captain Ray is amazing!!

Our family rented both sides of this unit. The pool is large enough for our entire family, the boat dock was perfect for our fishing adventures, and the house had everything that we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay, again.

The property is exactly as it’s described. It’s very well stocked with plenty of towels, pots, pans, dishes etc. The square footage is on the smaller side, but it is 100% doable. I would suggest maybe hanging the televisions to make it much roomier. I would put the dressers in the closets as well to make the bedrooms roomier and hang those tv’s. I would also get rid of the dining table and just have 3 barstools. All in all it’s a great place to stay, it’s very quiet, easy to get in and out to open water and into Marathon or Islamorada. If it were mine I would only make it a bit more spacious by doing what I mentioned earlier. The pool is great, only wish it could be heated🤷♀️ Any questions I had prior to arriving were all answered quickly and efficiently. We come to the Keys roughly 6-8 times during the year and we definitely will lease this place again.

Enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon. Canal and pool was the best part. Plenty of space for our family of 4 in the condo.

Perfect for two people!. Pool was relaxing and enjoyable. Very private. This is a duplex that shares a pool, so is perfect if the people beside you are travelling companions. I would highly recommend.

Nice place for price, clean.

Location was great with it being right in the middle of the keys. Place was awesome and well stocked with everything you needed. Pool was just steps away from unit and the screened porch overlooking the pool was nice as well. Fishing off the back seawall was good most nights and was able to clean the fish right there on the fish cleaning table. We had to put the boat in and buy bait on Grassy Key but that wasn't a huge deal.

The spot is great with the canal and pool! We’ve stayed here before and it could use some updates. New couch, washer/dryer combo for each side… But, all in all…we would certainly book again!

The listing had everything you need for fishing trip to the keys with the dock, fish cleaning table and freezer. We brought a 30 foot boat and the the renters on the other side brought two 24 foot boats. The unit had enough parking for all three trailers, plus 4 trucks and two cars! Nice big pool and walking distance to Hawk's Cay Marina and the restaurant.

Great location and the house had everything we needed. We shared the location with some other folks next door who like us were down for fishing and it was great. Caught fish right off the dock. Plenty of space to dock two boats and good access to the Atlantic and our trips to Marathon Hump! Just wish the fish would have cooperated more!

This house on the canal is a special little gem that we would definitely return to. In fact we are already thinking about coming back...and we just left today! In some of the reviews it talks about the unit not being clean... do not let those reviews scare you away! We didn’t use the hide a bed bc we brought our won air mattress but for us the property was very clean and well maintained! We had awesome, personal and quick service from both the owner and property manager for a couple of small things that came up... we were treated with care and kindness!
The outdoor area is what really made this special for us. We searched in the canal for hours looking for marine life and we sat out at the pool many times! The pool is very well maintained and goes from 3-8 feet. The tiki hut was our favorite spot for dinner many nights:) This is a duplex so you do share the unit with others but for us that wasn’t too much of a problem. There are some small quirks to the unit but to us it made it all a part of the fun... personally I don’t expect every single comfort of my home when on vacation... to me it’s part of the adventure. One quirk is that the washer and dryer are shared and one is on each side of the unit in a small closet you access from outside ... so you carry your clothes and be gracious to your neighbors ... it was not a big deal for us. You need to keep in mind that the price of this place is actually affordable and it is simple in some ways but simple doesn’t mean bad. I do think it’s fair to mention that the bathroom for the master bedroom is very small. For us it was perfectly fine and a cute bathroom, but, if you are a larger person I could see it being somewhat uncomfortable to shower. It’s definitely a bathroom that only person is in at a time. But my husband is 6’3 and was just fine in there.
We had 7 people stay while we were there and we made the beds and bathrooms work just fine!! The kitchen is pretty well stocked all but good knives (I have found this almost everywhere I have stayed).
The location is great bc it is about half way down the Keys so its not too far of a drive for things to the east or west. We fished a lot in the canal and caught some small fish but not a ton. The canal was a great entertainment though for us and my husband did see a manatee for about 3 seconds:) This was our second time to the Florida Keys and once again we loved it!

Very nice property in a nice neighborhood The pool is even larger than it looks. Sqeaky clean and nicely furnished. Largeparking area. House is turned so each half of the duplex has access to pretty canal with plenty of room for a large boat. Screen porch on pool side.

This little place has everything to offer. An aquarium out your door, really!! Very clean, plenty of parking and very comfortable. It felt like home to us. The neighbors were very nice that shared the property with us. But they invited to many people to come and fish and enjoy the the pool on a holiday weekend. Nancy, Jackie and grounds keeper Eddie, And the pool cleaning company were super super great. Thank you all for everything! We would love to come back as soon as we can. Sincerely, James and Teresa from Jensen Beach, Florida XO

We had such a fun trip. There is plenty of parking and the pool was great. The canal access made the trip and our kids caught lots of fish right there.

We had a great time here, it's a cute little place and I would definitely rent again. Right on the canal where you can see lots of sea life swimming around. Sharks, lobsters, stingrays, iguanas. However the No See em bugs were horrible in the screened in porch and we ended up closing it off and not going into it. Two emergency room trips we needed. We bought spray and citronella candles to try and get rid of them with no such luck. We were told Avon Skin so soft is the only thing that works on them. After buying groceries for the week we ended up leaving some spices and laundry soap for the next guests.

We had a great stay! House and all amenities were exactly as listed. The pool was great! A little cold, but that didn’t stop our 5 year old from jumping in! The guys caught some fish in the canal. We saw starfish, sharks, and stingrays in the canal. Will definitely stay here again when we return.

We just spent 3 weeks in Clearwater 6 unit. Since we drove down from Canada we were extremely happy that the facility was everything as advertised. Everything was perfect for two couples to live quite comfortable, the kitchen was nicely stocked with all utensils we needed, & we made good use of the bbque. Screened in porch was great we ate breakfast, lunch & dinner out there, the pool was clean & we enjoyed it everyday. The location was perfect & very quiet, we only had neighbours for one of our three weeks & we hardly knew that they were there. We used reusable grocery bags to transport the laundry from washer to dryer :-)
We had a wonderful vacation there & are looking forward to returning some day for sure! :-)

Homeaway and VRBO's websites have been hacked and the hackers are sending out false information talking about giving a discount on a property you may have looked into through homeaway or vrbo! Make 100% sure you call and speak only to Jackie or Bill the owners and operator of this property or any property for that matter! I am renting this property next week and got concerned over an email I received about this property. Jackie and I just spoke and I have all the confidence in heading here next week to enjoy our vacation! Jackie has told me vrbo and homeaway have been hacked and the hackers are trying to fool people into renting at a discount 3rd party! So stay safe and use commonsense. Talk only to the person listed on the contact page!

This duplex is just perfect. We rented #5 which is the side away from the pool. It was very clean and nicely updated. We had 1 adult and 2 children and the place accommodated us just fine. The pool area was quite nice and clean. The girls had an awesome time watching the fish and the iguana that took a flying leap into the canal and swam to the other side.
Jackie did a fabulous job of responding to us and our needs. She was a huge plus for this unit. It is a perfect spot in Duck Key and easy to find. We will definitely stay here again.

We love this place. We rented one half of house. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which is really nice. The beds were comfortable. The unit was nicely furnished and recently redecorated. The unit is not real large but plenty big for a vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes and glasses. The only surprise was there is no dishwasher, we all took turns washing dishes. The yard is really nice with plenty of chairs, shade and right on the canal. We had the best time sitting there fishing and relaxing. We caught a lot of different fish and really had fun. There is a fishing cleaning station with running water right by the canal. There is a gas grill and a freezer to put caught fish in. We ate fish several nights and took some home.
The pool area was very clean and nice to sit or nap by, unfortunately the water was a little to cold for swimming, it will be much warmer within the next month. The two units share the outside areas which worked well for us, we had wonderful neighbors.
The rental manager; Jackie was excellent, we locked ourselves out of the unit and she had someone there within an hour and did not get mad at us about the inconvenience.
I would highly recommend this place if you want to relax and like to fish. Next time we come to the Keys we will definitely try to stay here. Duck Key is close to shopping and restaurants. We drove to Key West one day and it is about 60 miles which was easily doable.
