About this house rental
The main level features an open floor plan with windows galore, providing lake views from every inch of the huge living area, dining area and kitchen. A full bathroom and one of the four bedrooms (w/ queen-sized bed) round out the main level. Brand new tile floor installed in the spring of 2019.
The country kitchen is filled with natural light from its 2 skylights and windows overlooking Cayuga Lake from 3 directions. You can prepare meals while watching your kids and/or significant other catch fish from the dock or play in the yard near the water. And there is loads of counter space, including a large island/breakfast bar.
The dining area features a rustic 10-foot long dining room table with seating for 12, handmade by a skilled local craftsman, and overlooks the lake through wall-to-wall windows.
The living area features a 55” flat screen Smart TV with Roku, including 70 HD channels of Time Warner Cable and embedded Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu, Spotify, Pandora, etc., as well as a Blu Ray player and 2 full-length couches (one of which is a queen size memory foam sleeper sofa).
Upstairs you’ll find 3 more bedrooms and another full bathroom. Two of the upstairs bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) face the lake, allowing you to wake up to our beautiful Cayuga Lake sunrises. The 3rd upstairs bedroom is the “Bunk Room”, and is perfect for kids of all ages, but can also accommodate adults/couples as well on a full mattress Bunk beds twin/full and an another twin bed. All the upstairs bedrooms have 32” flat screen Smart TVs and Blu Ray players, and the Bunk Room also features a Twin Memory Foam Sleeper Sofa (feel free to bring your kids’ game console and plug it in).
The screened-in Three Season Room overlooking the lake is accessible from the kitchen or back yard and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of local wine with your friends at night or when the weather isn’t perfect. Walk out the back door of the Three Season Room onto a path leading straight out onto an elevated deck that sits atop our boathouse adjacent to the lake. The trees above this deck provide a natural canopy. Or take a left onto the main deck and fire up the grill or take a dip in the 8-person Jacuzzi (room for 4 adults only please). Head down the stairs in the back yard to the lakeside lawn and cook up some S’mores in the fire pit with the whole family.
Walk out the dock over the water to a 20’ x 8’ fishing/lounging platform with Adirondack chairs, etc. Go for a swim, go fishing or take a ride on one of our 2 kayaks. If you have your own boat, we also have a 4500lb boat lift (ask us about availability).
You’re also in the heart of wine country (not to mention breweries and distilleries which are cropping up all over as well) and not far from beautiful waterfalls (including the tallest in NY State - Taughannock Falls). Historic downtown Seneca Falls is just 8 miles away and was the inspiration for “Bedford Falls” in Frank Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life”, starring Jimmy Stewart.
Del Lago Casino is just 14 miles away in Tyre, NY, adding to the already robust local attractions. Waterloo Premium Outlets is only 17 miles away. Seneca Falls Country Club is 5 miles away.

The views and the access to the water at this property were great! Beautiful sunrises and windows over looking the water from almost all the rooms. James was very responsive when we had a few questions. There is currently only 1 bunkbed in the kids room. Everyone loved the hot tub and fishing from the dock.

We enjoyed staying in the lake house and found it to be more spacious than pictured. It is located about 15 minutes from Seneca Falls, making it easy to get groceries or visit Sauders Amish grocery store. It is also a short distance from wineries, Cayuga Lake State park and Taughannock Falls state park. The kitchen has a large variety of dishes and cookware, and this rental includes supplies of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry and dishwasher soap. We enjoyed using the firepit each night and also the dock to launch our kayaks and small fishing boat. The landlord is very responsive to questions and concerns. We did experience a plumbing issue which was fixed very quickly in just a few hours. Overall, we were very satisfied with the house, the location, the amenities and communication with the landlord. We would definitely consider staying here again!

This place was absolutely stunning! The location of the house was perfect and within a good distance to all your major stores. The views from the master bedroom were amazing and being able to sit by the fire and listen to the water right next to you was everything you need for a relaxing weekend! The rooms were big, plenty of places for people to sleep and the beds were very comfortable! Would highly recommend staying here!

We are always looking for places to visit with my elderly parents. This home was excellent because of its no stairs entrance and first floor bedroom and bath. The downstairs was very open which enabled my father too to use his power wheelchair. The views of the lake were stunning and there is so much to do in the area it almost begs you to come back again.

House was the perfect lake house, very spacious, all the things you would want, very well appointed, my grandkids loved the nice touch of some toys in the house, lake access was great, a lot of things to do in the area, owner was very responsive and easy to work with. My husband and I rented this home for a summer getaway for us, our children and their significant others. The upper part of Cayuga Lake is conveniently close to the Syracuse airport, and the small town where my husband's parents live, so they were able to visit a couple of times throughout the week; a special treat since their travel opportunitites become more limited as they age.
Situated right on Cayuga Lake, the lake house has a great, open floor plan with plenty of room for everyone, and still feels cozy with plenty of separate spaces to enjoy. Meals at the huge dining table, on the screened in porch, and out at the picnic table on the upper deck were perfect. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit, set up corn hole boards we brought from home for some outdoor fun, made use of the fabulous dining table with several lively games of Scattegories and unwound with a bit of wine from the local wineries and a dip in the hot tub. Many of us found a quiet spot to catch up on reading or simply listen to the lapping of water on the private deck. Everything was in working order within the house, and the owner responded quickly when I had a question.
Trips into Seneca Falls proved enjoyable as we visited Parkers Grille and Tap House, Sauders Store, Fall Street Brewing and the It's A Wonderful Life Museum. The laid back feel of the area is refreshing.
We all greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

The place was in a fantastic spot. Access to Cayuga Lake was easy and beautiful. House was well appointed with everything you could need. Only issue(a small one) was trying to get the lock box open. It's very hard to access the key, esp in the dark when we arrived. Once we got in, everything was lovely.

Beautiful! We had a wonderful time! We had coffee on the dock in the mornings to watch the sun rise. We waded in the lake with our dog. We went to numerous state parks for hiking; Tunkhannock was spectacular! We drove up to Lake Ontario one day to Chimney Bluffs state park. We also visited the Muranda Cheese Farm which was wonderful. We also visited Sauders which reminded us of our Mennonite shops here in PA. We bought lots of homemade baked goods. We are an older couple who love to hike in nature with our dog. We don't drink alcohol, but we found loads of things to do. There are plenty of wineries and breweries in the area for those that do enjoy this type of activity. Also, the house was gorgeous, hot tub was really nice and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!

Property Manager communicated all throughout the process! Location was easy to get to. House was large enough for my kids and my parents to be able to enjoy reading a book at one spot and playing game sin another. I highly recommend! Place was beautiful. Spacious lakeside property and incredibly responsive host
An absolute gem on the lake with beautiful sunrise views. We rented the property because my daughter was graduating college and had some family joiningus for the ceremonies. The rental exceeded our expectations - the rooms are large and quite spacious and we were able to fit the whole family at the gorgeous dining room table.
It was my first time renting, so I had some questions. The host was incredibly responsive with my questions ahead of arrival and during our stay.
Check in was perfectly communicated. Comfortable beds, well stocked bathrooms and kitchen, and thoughtful amenities. I hope I have the opportunity to stay again.

Thanksgiving retreat!
First time away from home for Thxgiving & decided to book a place with a lake view along with my brother's family. It was a great choice for the eight of us. Great location.
Walls of large windows to view lake while eating and waking up to-which was beautiful!. House has a well stocked kitchen, bath towels, etc. Wineries are less than a quick 5 min down the road & they were awesome. Hot tub was a plus. Able to use the screened sun room which of course was cold due to time of year so it was so convenient to keep food cold and store extras that could not fit in refrig. Went to Skaneateles (30 min easy drive) for the day to see the Dickens Christmas outdoor event (every weekend from thxgiving-christmas). Beautiful quaint town around the lake with shops, eateries, carolers, actors walking around in character, etc-like a Hallmark movie!

Lovely autumn vacation
This house is lovely, clean and larger than it appears in pictures. The windows are amazing with gorgeous lake views! The gas fireplace was cozy for chilly evenings. The kitchen is well stocked and even has a keurig. The hottub was perfect for after hikes or for the brisk autumn air. Beds were comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return.

We loved our stay and this home. There was plenty of room to spread out and The home was well equipped everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub each night. Fabulous location
Six of us traveled for a long weekend to celebrate a family wedding. The property was perfect! We had plenty of space to spread out in a very well-stocked, comfortable home. I cannot think of one thing that could improve the space! We loved not only the beautiful lake views, but also the access for fishing, paddling, etc…

Family Vacation after the Pandemic
We really enjoyed the easy access to Cayuga Lake. The dock made it easy for my small grandsons to fish with their dad. The 2 available kayaks were a terrific way to get out on the lake without having to bring our own.

The following isn’t necessarily negatives just a few things to make sure people know ahead of time, parking the local laws only allow 5 cars in driveway. We clearly made it work and having a heads up was great about this as we came from all over NY and could plan in advance for carpooling/parking , and the hot tub may be listed on VRBO as an 8 person hot tub but owner does strictly ask for only 4 people at a time in it. That was only downside that the 6 of us that could go in, couldn’t all go in at once like thought when originally clicking reserve/book. So honestly considering that was our “let down”of the whole trip and we were given the heads up in the welcome packet about it. This weekend was great and I would definitely plan to come back with a group when the weather was nicer! The owner responds fast and is super helpful to questions you may have!

We had a wonderful time at Bonnie Banks! This house is Equipped with everything you need for your getaway week! It is spacious so an entire family of all age ranges could not be tripping over each other! Jamie was always quick to reply with any questions. The location is perfect. COVID19 GetAWay
Could not take being quarantined anymore! We rented this house as a family (kids, spouses, grand kids, and grand dogs) House and property were as beautiful as shown in the photos and had lots of space for all of us. The extra long dining table was perfect for seating 8 of us for dinner and still have room on one end for our puzzle-in-progress. Dishes, pots/pans, were well stocked and all we needed. A couple of us missed our comfortable beds at home, but the ones at the house were fine for the week. The deck with the hot tub was perfect for relaxing with many of the wines we purchased at near by wineries. Had some issues with bugs and bug bites when sitting out there. Fishing off the dock was great for our grandson and one grand dog never tired of running down the dock, jumping into the water to fetch his tennis ball. The kayaks were a big hit, too. Communication with Jamie was excellent. We highly recommend this owner and house.

Beautiful Escape! Amenities Galore.
We had a great time with our family when we visited the property for Fourth of July week. This property has amenities galore! Everything you'll need for cooking (blender, coffee machine, so many utensils, pans, pots, wine glasses and more!) can be found in the large kitchen. We loved the open format of the downstairs space but the outdoor area is the real gem of this home! We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the patio and evenings drinking Finger Lakes wine by the fire pit. Plenty of room for yard games and great deck for floating in the lake. This location had smart touches with a washer/dryer, a hot tub, fishing poles, kayaks, inner tubes, board games and more. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for 8 adults and two dogs. We really enjoyed our stay and location proximity to wineries!
