The beds are super comfy. And the hot water was awesome for showers. The downside was no air conditioning and it had a musty smell the back porch was falling apart. Couldn’t get the coffee pot to work. Kept tripping in the kitchen. on a le

House is so much bigger than I thought it would be, I was pleasantly surprised. Nice updates to the bathroom, living room and kitchen; the beds were alright, but the bedding was super comfy! Only negative I can think of is the smell, smelled a bit like old pot or cigarellos, but it’s not off-putting. Would rent again.

We arrived during a heat wave and expected it to be warm but we’re very surprised when we opened the door to the house and it was like an oven inside. The host knew we were coming and didn't have a single window cracked to ventilate the heat, and even after we arrived and opened all the windows and doors and turned on the 2 tiny fans provided, the house was still over 100 degrees inside 2 hours later (at 10pm at night!) We were miserable. I contacted the host immediately upon arrival to ask if we could cancel the reservation because I was NOT comfortable sleeping with all the windows and doors open with sketchy activity going on outside the front door (person scanning a flashlight out front and a car stopped in the middle of the road looking towards the house for no apparent reason). The host replied saying I should have known it would be hot in August and should have booked somewhere with AC if it was a concern and offered no other assistance. Another fan or 2 or a little compassion would have been nice, but instead all I got was excuses and a bit of an attitude! I ended up staying awake most of the night because it was too hot for me to sleep and so my daughter would feel safer with the house being unsecured. The house is cute and clean but make sure you're comfortable sleeping with open windows at night if you book this place, and I'd advise against reserving it in July/August. We tried to make the most of it, but overall it was a very uncomfortable experience!
