About this apartment rental
This 210 square meter (2300 square feet) five-bedroom five-bathroom townhouse is located steps from Saint Sulpice, Saint Germain des Près, and the lovely Jardin de Luxembourg. The house is found on one the most prestigious addresses in Paris - the elegant, quiet, wide and very safe Rue de Tournon (also home to the French Senate and the Garde Républicaine). The residential part of the townhouse is located on the 3rd to 6th floors. The bottom floors are occupied by a discrete art gallery open only by appointment.

All bedrooms are quiet and face to an interior courtyard.
The apartment has a west exposure and the living rooms, dining room and terrace (which can seat up to 12 people) are flooded with sunshine all afternoon until sunset (which occurs around 10pm in the summer!).

Interactions with Ludovic, the property owner, were great. We had an unexpected hospitalization of our 9 year granddaughter and he was so helpful and considerate during the time.
The apartment is located in a fabulous, very safe location and easily within walking distance to attractions and/or the metro.
We arrived a week before the Olympics and stayed until a little after they began and our experience was first rate.
Do however, know that while there are many stairs they are circular and this made going up and down a little precarious, but we were in great shape after two weeks of our visit.
We had a group of 10 ranging in age from 9 to 67. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Choi was very helpful and there were many thoughtful considerations provided.
Thank you Ludovic. I can't thank you enough for your thoughtfulness during our stressful time.

Two families with 5 total children ranging 12-18. It was a perfect location and space for us. Choy was excellent and communication with Ludovic was ideal. Would definitely stay again!

You can’t beat the location!
The layout was a little quirky, but our family of ten (ages 8-70) made it work.
Thanks for a great 4 days in Paris.

The apartment was very lovely. The neighborhood was near a lot of beautiful sights, shopping, restaurants. I would definitely recommend this apartment. One caveat-there are many stairs to get up to the apartment so anyone disabled or very unfit would find it difficult to navigate.

The accommodations were lovely and quaint! The property owner and caretaker addressed our every need in a timely matter. We would definitely stay here again.

We couldn't have been happier to spend a week at this comfortable, charming, and eclectic property. It was ideal for our party of 8, aged 10-50.
We were able to walk just about everywhere we wanted to go, and attractions such as the Luxembourg Gardens and St. Sulpice were literally at our doorstep. The neighborhood was a dream, with great restaurants and shops, and the best bakery we could ask for. The nearby grocery store and access to the metro made it easy to feel at home right away, and we felt very safe in the neighborhood at all times of day.
As for the flat itself, we loved having private and community spaces in the home. We spread out among the various rooms on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th floors, and everyone slept comfortably. There was plenty of room for all of us and lots of eclectic character which we preferred to a cookie-cutter location that could have been mistaken for a US property. The terrace with distant views of the Eiffel Tower was our favorite place to gather after our long and full days and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few meals and take care of laundry! There are a lot of stairs, and the bathrooms are not typical of US bathrooms, but that was part of the charm. Beautiful views of the Paris rooftops and camellias blooming up the walls of the internal courtyard (even in March!) aren't typical of US properties either, and we wouldn't have traded those for anything!
We are beyond grateful for the support of the hosts and staff.

Apartment is beautiful, fully equipped with all necessities as well as extras. Be prepared to walk steps. There are a lot, but it's good exercise.
Owner was in contact several times to ensure that we were happy and all was well. Choi, who brought us the keys and explained the workings of appliances was extremely attentive and helpful with a few issues.
We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay in the apartment and would recommend it to others.

After discovering this place on VRBO, I had booked online. The owner did reach out to me with a price adjustment/increase due to demand for the upcoming Olympics. My stay was March 18th-23rd, 2024 with my family of 7. Once we agreed on a negotiated price the owner was very good at communicating and sending me the detailed information for appliances and the check-in process before arrival. The owner was able to accommodate and early check-in since we were arriving around lunchtime with alot of luggage. The owner was very quick and responsive to my questions.
As other reviews have stated there are alot of steps, we rented multiple apartments and they are on 3/4 different floors. So be prepared and keep in mind any physical disabilities.
The apartments are great size and plenty of room, plenty of seating areas whether inside or outside on the terrace. The building is older but the owner had made some updates in the kitchen that were nice. There are dishes, however I can't state how many as we ate out the whole time. There is a beautiful gas range though if you plan to cook.
The floor plans were unique to us being from the US. For example the kitchen is on the 5th floor a stairway up from the living room. My mom loved the apartment and felt it was true Parisian. The apartments were very clean. The area felt safe and secure, a police station across the street. We walked everyday and night around the area.

We enjoyed our girl's trip. The property owner and management were responsive. The area is safe and pleasant! Beautifully appointed and comfortable! A fantastic way to enjoy Paris!

We came for a friends trip to Paris, and the apartment was perfect for our group of 8. This place is large by Paris standards, very clean, and thoughtfully decorated. You will truly feel like you are in an amazing Paris apartment, complete with a bit of an Eiffel Tower view.
There are so many great neighborhoods in Paris, and this one is right up there. You are a quick walk to anything you could want, and an easy stroll to the Seine and all it has to offer. There are also several bus lines and Metro stations to connect to destinations further out. We got a weeklong Metro/bus pass (~35 euro) at the airport and took the RER B line to and from the airport, as the stop is a 6 min walk from the apartment. The apt is across the street from several government buildings with a security presence at all times of night, making the area feel that much safer for our group of 8 women.
As other reviews mention, there are a lot of stairs, so be prepared if you are coming with lots of heavy luggage. That initial climb with all of your bags is the hardest though, and after that each trip up and down will feel like a breeze.
I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend this place for your next stay.

Apartment was fantastic. Amazing patio with views of the Eiffel Tower and an unbeatable location. Would definitely go back!!!!

Our family of 9 throughly enjoyed our stay in this very lovely apartment. Each floor was so different, loved the art work and furnishings. Even the 85 stairs, no elevator , we made it, that is my sister and I at ages 80 and 82. Really you just take your time and good workout!
We celebrated Christmas morning on the third floor where Ludovic had a Christmas Tree and even Santa had come! The grandchildren loved it as we did too, thsnk you Ludovic.
The neighborhood was charming, grocery store within walking distance along with restaurants.
Choi, the greeter was wonderful helping us with our luggage and checking to make sure we had everything needed.
You will enjoy this apartment and for families it’s perfect. A small kitchen on the second floor and a larger one on the 4th floor with dining table.
I am sure Spring and Sunmer would be fabulous with outdoor dining too.
Enjoy your visit 😊

Perfect location for a Paris rendezvous vous

We were a family 5 , with three adult kids all in their 20’s. We needed a place in Paris where we all could have privacy but most importantly have spaces to gather for family breakfasts, drinks, etc ..
This apartment provided exactly that for a great value.
4-5 bedroom apartments are very hard to find in Paris at any price , but Rue Tournon was both spacious and affordable.
Our favorite part was the 5th floor kitchen , huge stone table and terrace and views , remarkable !
The apartments were clean and Choi was very helpful.
Things to know : the Steps !! We are a very sporty family all in good shape and this is a lot of steps to walk up multiple times of day. Arrival day is tough with all the suitcases .
We did always feel good about walking off dessert !
Also the 3rd floor is a completely separate apartment which worked well for my husband and myself but might not for other groups .
Another thing to note is the separate WC’s. They are tiny!!!!!! and may be a surprise to American standards.
All in all this is a charming and quite quirky collection of rooms and apartments that is an excellent value and can work well for large groups.
The neighborhood /location is truly 5 stars.

This was a beautiful apartment in the perfect location! Very central and easy to get around Paris. We would love to stay here again!

The apartments were great for our group of 10. We enjoyed the terrace and the view was amazing with the Eiffel Tower in the distance. The location is great with walking distance to many shops and cafes and also the Metro. It does have many steps to get to the top level.
5.0
This is a very nice apartment in a safe, well located neighborhood. The owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The managers live across the street and they are very helpful. Also, the views from the patio are amazing. There was plenty of room for the 8 people in our group and offered privacy when needed. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and each had ac which was nice.
We did not do any cooking there but the kitchens seemed well equipped and the appliances appeared newer.
There are a couple things that need to be noted.
The most obvious is the stairs.
The apartment is on the top 3 floors of a 5 story building. Overall there are approximately 64 stairs. If you are disabled or have any type of medical or breathing issues this is probably not the place for you.
The handrail from the 4th to 5th floor should be located on the opposite side of where it is. The furnishings are very eclectic and charming but not all that comfortable. The single bedroom is rather small but very functional.
I gave an overall rating of 4 stars but feel it deserves 41/2 stars.

This was the perfect property for six girlfriends celebrating milestone birthdays! The owner was responsive from the beginning, the apartment is gorgeous, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and we absolutely loved the neighborhood. Many great shops, cafes and more and walking distance to everything you could want in Paris. We wrapped up our busy days with wine on the rooftop looking at the Eiffel Tower. We would definitely stay here again!
5.0
The apartment is lovely however there are so many stairs. Be prepared to go up about 60 stairs just to get to the first of 4 levels. There was an attempted break in by a stranger and when this was brought to the attention of the staff he did not appear to be surprised. We were very uncomfortable with this situation.
5.0
We were 9 of us from two families and we stayed for a full week.
The layout of the multiple floors gave lots of space. As noted in the property description, there is no elevator and large luggage on the stairs is not easy. Our group managed the stairs multiple times per day without issue. The amenities were as noted and the beds were comfortable.
The location was central with Metro Odeon very close and 3 bus routes at the end of the street. The local restaurants were solid and were able to accommodate our large group with a one day reservation..
Communication with the hosts was very prompt and the present materials were very thorough.
Thanks for providing a solid place to have a family vacation

My husband, 11 year old daughter, and I stayed in this amazing property for five nights in June 2023. Prior to the visit the communication with the Ludovic was thorough and the check in process with Choi was seamless. Choi was a wonderful help during our stay. He was friendly and respectful and responsive when we had any questions. The apartments are beautifully decorated and contain everything you need for cooking meals. We enjoyed the air conditioning when it was very hot and in the evenings and early mornings enjoyed coffee and drinks on the terrace in the fresh air. The apartment is located in the absolute perfect location. Close to everything, yet near the senate building so the evenings and nights are quiet. Wonderful museums, gardens, grocery and restaurants are all within walking distance. I highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay there again in the future. As others have said in previous reviews, there are a lot of stairs and so double check you have everything you need before heading out for the day :)

We had a wonderful time. This apartment was in the best location. Bakeries, cafes, restaurants, walking distance to the Louvre, the Catacombs, the Latin Quarter. Would definitely recommend.
5.0
We were a group of four couples staying in early May 2023, and what a fabulous apartment. The location is excellent, on a quiet street but so close to Luxembourg Gardens and other attractions. We were able to walk almost everywhere.
There are two beautiful kitchens and two comfortable living rooms in this spacious apartment. Bright sunny spaces. The appliances are outstanding: full refrigerators, dishwashers, gas stoves – wow! We were also pleased with the clothes washer and dryer – separate machines like in the U.S.! And they worked wonderfully.
Lovely décor throughout the apartment. Perhaps the best of all was the roof top terrace that actually has a bit of a view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance! We spent every afternoon and some evenings there, with a glass of wine.
Bedrooms are spread out and allow privacy. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. Nice fluffy pillows (sometimes you get flat pillows. Not here!).
Choi was very helpful meeting us to get in the apartment and giving us a thorough review. The owner provides detailed instructions which are quite helpful, including recommendations for nearby shopping (such as groceries).
We completely enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend this apartment.

Ludovics apartment is a gem in Paris. It’s close to the Luxembourg gardens, Latin quarter, the river, great shopping, restaurants and the metro. We felt very secure with the location and building.
The beds are very comfortable, washer and dryer was a nice bonus. The best part is the terrace, morning coffee and afternoon spritz and games. You can see the Eiffel Tower light up every night from the terrace and the attic bedroom. We would definitely stay again.

We had three couples who rented this apartment. It was perfect ... great location, three floors so we each had good privacy, beautifully furnished apartment, daily light cleaning. The owner and cleaning staff were in regular communication with us to ensure we had a good stay. I would highly recommend this apartment and will stay again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay - perfect location. Nice to have a larger space to relax after a day in Paris. We also did a cooking class in the beautiful kitchen and sitting on the patio with the beautiful view - especially in the evening to see the Eiffel Tower. We will definitely stay again on our return to Paris.

Gorgeous apartment, very spacious and well appointed. Stunning views from the top bedroom and the balcony. We loved the location.
Communication was terrific - we felt informed and taken care of throughout.

We loved the unbeatable location of this unusually spacious apartment in Paris when we chose it for a family vacation comprised of ourselves, our 3 adult children (one with spouse) and two teenagers. Great communication with the property manager well in advance of and during our stay. He provided detailed information about the apartment, it’s features and the neighborhood well before our arrival and made sure once we had settled into the flat and that we were comfortable in the space. Easy check in procedure.
We occupied the 3rd through 6th floors of the building accessible via a classic Parisian spiral staircase. Unusually spacious common rooms allowed us to enjoy time together whether in one of two living rooms, kitchens or dining rooms before retreating to the spacious and comfortable bedrooms each with en suite bathroom.
The view from the 5th floor deck included the Palais Luxembourg and the Eiffel Tower. The location in one of the best neighborhoods in Paris gave us easy access to everything we wanted to do and see, often on foot. Our memories of this trip will last a lifetime and they will include this wonderful apartment that made it possible for us to enjoy it together!

The apartment is fabulous! Plenty of space, spread out over different levels, providing privacy and large spaces to gather as a group. Lovely details and finishes. Great location! The owner is extremely responsive and kind. Great trip to Paris!

This apartment is ideally located, with not only multiple Paris attractions within walking distance, but multiple Metro stations. INCLUDING one that goes directly to/from CDG.
We can't recommend this rental highly enough, no problems at all with a mixed group of nine people, privacy and space for all.

We absolutely loved this incredibly chic apartment. The decor was stunning and the location perfection. While we enjoyed exploring the streets of Paris, we loved returning to the apartment to enjoy family time in this classic apartment. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our family of 8, which included our four adult children and two significant others, rented the property for Thanksgiving 2022. It was perfect for a group our size, as everyone had their own personal space, and the social space was large enough to accommodate us. Outstanding location for our group who was intent on seeing many of the city sites.

We are a group of 7 good friends who have traveled together in the past and have each been to Paris several times. We couldn’t have asked for more at 25 Rue de Tournon. Our best memories will be sitting on the terrace every morning for coffee and having dinner there at night. The bells of St Sulpice and a view of the Eiffel Tower lit up at night are priceless. Excellent location, spacious rooms, attentive housekeeper Choi and welcoming host Ludovic all added up to give us a perfect experience.

25 Rue de Tournon is a comfortable , beautifully appointed apartment in a fabulous location.
Get ready for the bells of St. Sulpice, lots of stairs to work off all the cheese, a gourmet kitchen and pressed sheets!

I hosted family and friends from the United States in this property for a week, and it was perfect. The location is in the heart of Paris next to the Luxembourg Gardens which may be one of the most beautiful places in Paris. We were able to jog, walk and relax there. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath -- with air conditioning! You will not be able to find this in Paris at many locations. We cooked a large dinner for nine one evening to entertain friends from Nogent sur Marne. We shopped for it in the Bon Marche and the Marche Saxe-Breteuil since they are so close. The terrace is very beautiful for morning coffee, oeur d'oeuvres before dinner in the evening, and a night cap after dinner. The bells of St Sulpice were heavenly. We most assuredly will consider returning.

Both location AND a responsive and friendly host...Parisian
perfection. This was a large group of combined family members...4 parents with a total of 5 kids (mostly teens.) The accomodations were wonderful and offered a bit of "separation" for the two families. Our deepest thanks to Ludovic for offering VRBO this lovely living space.

Elegant apartment
I rented this property for my friends and here is what they have to say: 25 rue de Tournon is a beautifully appointed apartment in the St. Germain neighbourhood, close to St. Sulpice Cathedral, and within walking distance of so many of Paris’s landmarks, galleries and gardens, museums, restaurants and shops. The staff person who manages the property is friendly and helpful and checked in daily for light housekeeping. Described as a walk-up, do arrange assistance for your bags if you think you won’t be able to navigate a steep flight of 87 stairs with luggage, and keep in mind that you will climb these stairs multiple times a day entering and exiting the building. As well, the complex locking system of the apartment requires locking from the inside so exiting and entering requires patience. 25 rue de Tournon is indeed a charming and elegant apartment in a historic building, able to accommodate a larger group such as ours, but a few more things should also be noted. While it has a bathtub, the bedroom in the attic does not have a toilet, with a very tight spiral iron staircase to and from a shared water closet on the floor below. The air conditioner could not keep up to cool the attic room during the week we were there in the first week of July. There is no banister on the steep staircase between the living room and kitchen above. An elevator, an improved locking system, an additional toilet, cooling and insulation in summer (the opposite in winter) in the attic room and a banister for safety between living room and kitchen would elevate this property in our view to a rating of excellence with its location and its glorious balcony off the kitchen/dining room, offering an unforgettable view over Paris.

Simply amazing
This apartment was fantastic for our blended family of 7 (three teens + two tweens)! The decor is beautiful. The apartment was well stocked. The neighborhood is beautiful and convenient and the views from the balcony were to die for. A couple of items to note. This is really three somewhat attached apartments. There are three bedrooms in one apartment and two in other apartments. The users of these rooms have to be independent enough to manage keys, their own space, etc. One of the rooms is really just a bed and bathroom behind a locked door, so the resident of that room doesn’t get the luxury that everyone else does. The owner was clear about the stairs but it is worth noting that my partner and I are both long distance runners and there actually are a lot of stairs, even for us! Also the temps were soaring while we were there and the AC units didn’t do much to help. The upper rooms were hot. All of this is to be expected in an urban setting but it’s worth noting. None of this detracted from our amazing experience. This place was truly luxurious. We watched the Bastille day fireworks from our balcony over the Eiffel Tower. Amazing. Thank you so much to Ludovic and the kind house cleaner, Choi. I highly recommend this place! Worth every penny.
