About this house rental
Tropical island private home (newly remodeled!) with a heated pool on Manasota Key, with access to your own beach on the Gulf of Mexico and fishing (not boating) dock on Lemon Bay (less than a block from each). Due to Hurricane Milton, the home has been recently renovated with new appliances, beds, and most furniture. (New pictures have yet to be added.) (Access to the Gulf and Bay is limited at this time due to hurricane damage.) Newly screened-in pool; gas grill; House has tile floors throughout; Central air and ceiling fans in every room (or turn off the A/C, open the windows, and listen to the sea); all kitchen appliances and washer/dryer; Beds include one king, one queen, two full, and the sun-room's pull-out couch makes a queen size bed; Main Bedroom Suite is connected to the main house, but has its own bath and exterior door to a separate garden; Games, Book-exchange, Cable, WIFI Internet; Fishing poles, beach bikes, beach chairs, toys, and more; fully furnished with kitchen ware and linens. As teachers, this home is very child friendly, including games, toys, a booster seat, and pack-n-play. Yoga on the beach every morning, just a bike-ride (supplied) away! Access to the beach (although limited right now) isj ust across the road! The garage holds many toys and extras, and may be used to house your bikes and/or small car. Four beaches are as close as 1.2 miles and all within 5 miles!

We loved everything about this property. The house was stocked with anything you may need for a comfortable stay. We cooked all but 1 meal at the house and had every kitchen item we needed. Also the amount of beach accessories, fishing stuff, books and games was amazing. The walk to the beach and fishing dock was a very doable distance for all of us. We definitely hope to return to this property again soon. Jim and Judy were very quick to respond to any question we had.

Convenient area, about a 3 min walk to the beach and a 3-10 minute drive to any store or restaurant we needed. It is possible to drive across to the gate for the beach access and unload if you want to take an umbrella, chairs, cooler, etc. and have someone drive the vehicle back and walk across.
The dock is also very nice and only a quick minute drive/walk. We were able to park there and take our poles, etc.
We had 3 children in our group and the pool was a lifesaver! Perfect size for cooling off in the afternoon.

My family and I enjoyed our time. The property owners were very responsive and communicated with us as needed. Location to the bay and beach were a short walk away. The pool was refreshing during the hot afternoons! A few updates to the pool area and guest rooms would make this perfect. I recommend this property to a family or couples wanting a relaxing beach vacation.

Overall this property is really great- especially if you have a large family with adults and older children. It was especially nice to have a private pool right outside the door! We had access to an abundance of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. which was much appreciated. Really, my only complaint is the distance to the beach. It isn’t a *far* walk but I wouldn’t consider it a short one- certainly not a convenient one if you left something behind. When my children were small this distance would have been a deal breaker for me, however with adults and older children it is manageable and we made the trip several times a day. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and there was plenty of space for all of us (4 adults, 3 kids). The beach wasn’t crowded and it was a nice, quiet vacation that we all enjoyed!

The property is perfect for family and has EVERYTHING you need for a Florida vacation! The open living room/kitchen/dining area so spacious. The pool outside the kitchen is a so perfect for a day at home instead of the beach. And just a short walk to beach and AWESOME fishing dock.

Everything you need for a beautiful relaxing vacation, is exactly what you get with this gorgeous home. The short walk to the beach everyday, was our favorite. The pool was so refreshing after a hot day. The home is as listed, plenty of room for a family, and very comfortable for us as a couple. We will definitely return.

From the bike tires being pumped to the pool heater on, this place was ready to enjoy the moment we turned the key. Easy access to the beach and pier, our family enjoyed it all.

This house is in the perfect location-so close to the beach and the dock to Lemon Bay for fishing-yet tucked in so you still have privacy. Shopping, groceries, golfing, and restaurants are all close by as well. The semi private beach was not crowded at all which was the best! We had plenty of room in the house for our family of 5 plus 2 more family members that came to visit for a few days. The house had all the essentials. The screened in pool was amazing and definitely a hit with the kids. The owners were pleasant and prompt at responding to all of my questions both before booking and after. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

Enjoyed ourselves
Jim and Judy were wonderful. Judy walked my kids to both beaches so we would know the way. Jim was telling me about future improvements. It'll be even nicer next year. My family found lots of shark teeth and some sea glass and shells. Do these nice hosts a favor and leave the teeth in the porch.

Semi-Private beach with breathtaking sunsets
The hosts are wonderful and accommodating. Description and photos of the beach house are accurate. Clean, smells nice, very roomy and comfortable beds. Full kitchen and also an outside grill. Nice screened in pool to enjoy if you’re not relaxing on the beach. We were able to visit the beach a few times a day since it is located just across the street. The beach is not crowded, and the people are very friendly. Good restaurants and shops nearby.

Perfect beach and chill house
The house is spread out which allows the family to be together but not driving each other crazy. The pool is great and perfect for large family. I love the location of the home as it is a short walk to the beach and dock on the river. We had no complaints from anyone in the family. Would recommend this home and would love to come again.

Solid Place!
This little 3 bedroom was perfect for my family of 6. Being able to hit the uncrowded beach just a short walk across the street, loop around the neighborhood road to fish off Lemon Bay (or see a manatee), or to simply lounge at the pool make this an easy pick. The timing was neat to see all the sea turtle markings coming up the beach each evening. Very recommended, a little dated but lets be honest if you go to Manasota Key to chill inside your wasting your money.

Family friendly, large space, exactly what we were looking for.
Thanks for the good time! It was too cold to use the pool, but it was nice that it was there. The hosts were accessible when we had questions, location was exactly what we wanted. Nice to be close to a private beach access and the dock. Overall, great trip.

January stay at Manasota Key
This was the perfect house for my family for this vacation Jan 8-15. The house was well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils. The bedrooms were supplied with extra pillows and blankets.
The pool and deck were wonderful, Everything was clean, and the hosts were very easy to contact. They responded immediately when we had a question

Great Property
Very spacious-easily fit our family of 7 and visitors. Great location-close to the beach and shopping/ restaurants. Pool is a highlight too! The only reason for 4 star overall rating is because the bathrooms needed more cleaning attention.

Great vacatoin
The location of this property is great. Easy walking distance to the beach and the dock. We enjoyed the beach and the pool is also really nice. The house isn't fancy (which we don't care about fancy) but it was comfortable and met our needs. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to stay here again. Communication with the owners was excellent. We had the pleasure of meeting Judy in person. She is very pleasant and she left us a nice little parting gift.

Adorable house in perfect location
We had a fantastic week here! Yes, it's a little dated inside, but everything was clean. The short walk to the beach was perfect, no getting our car full of sand! The beach felt so secluded! We saw a handful of neighbors and beach walkers, nothing like the crowded public beaches. The pool was great to cool off in after getting back from the beach. The owner stayed above the garage for a few days during our stay, but we hardly noticed her. She was super friendly when we did see her.
(A minor note, the mattress in the master bedroom could probably stand to be replaced soon, it's a bit broken down.)
We will definitely look for this property again when we plan our next beach vacation!

Old Florida at its Best
Larger than it looks online plenty of space we split with my sister and her family. A total of 8 people and had plenty of space to sleep and relax at that same time. Love that the matter suite closes off from the rest of the house for early sleepers. The pool was perfect and the new screen cover was definitely worth the investment. The owners are courteous and respected our privacy such wonderful hosts! They were immediately available to answer an questions as well. The house came stocked as expected with plenty of towels and bedding, and but of everything to get you started. Grocery is not far at all and neither is a convince store. I would highly recommend Jim and Judy to families looking for a relaxing spacious home close enough but not in the heart of it all. Private beach access is a bonus too. Thanks again Judy for making us feel like family. Excited to come back soon.

Wonderful vacation
This is a great family place! The pool-definitely a highlight- was warm and has steps to make it easy for the little ones to play and get in and out. Our 1.5 y/o, and almost 5 & 7 y/o really enjoyed the pool and also the children's books, toys and games. the short walk to the beach was very doable. We were blessed with beautiful weather while we were there, so no complaints. Jim & Judy were great. Thanks! We hope to come back!

Beach break
Interior of property is a bit outdated and beach chairs provided, were very worn out. Good location and walk to beach was fine for us, but may be a bit much for elderly or families with small kids and a lot of supplies to carry. Pool was a nice amenity, it was clean, but at times water was a bit chilly. Owner was available to turn up pool heater on request. Of note, owners were staying on property in guest house and we were reminded a few times that home is located in a residential neighborhood and No noise is permitted past 9pm and there was no outdoor music permitted as well. This could be a hassle for guests that enjoy chatting outdoors or families with older children that want to swim or hang outside past 9pm.

Jim and Judy were so nice to let us check in early because our flight arrived early. They are very nice people. They showed us how to get to the beach and dock. The house is set up well and it is stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. Laundry is convenient.We were there Dec 15-21 and unfortunately the pool heater was not consistent and the pool was way too cold for 3 or 4 of the days. This was really disappointing because the Gulf is way too cold this time of year.

Nice Family Getaway
Had a great time at the house, worked well for family with small kids, beach was close walk and made it easy to pop over for short time and enjoy the ocean. Beach was not crowded and the pool was wonderful to enjoy as well.

Beautiful beach
House is close to the beach which is beautiful and secluded. The pool was nice to have and the cage defiantly makes it convenient. The house is cozy and has what you need could use a deep cleaning and some organization to cabinets and closets they are filled with a bunch of junk but no necessities like dishwasher soap or paper towels. Served our purpose well though. Plenty of room for a family to be together but still have their own space. We had a relaxing stay and the area is very nice!

Peaceful Getaway
Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is so beautifully and thoughtfully landscaped that you can easily forget you're in a neighborhood. The dock and the beach are both a short and easy walk. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool. This was our first visit to Manasota Key and we will definitely be back.

Excellent Place and Location!!!
We had a great time staying at Paradise Cove house. The pool was awesome. The house is spacious and had everything we needed. The private beach is only 5 minutes of walking distance and it is great. The sunsets are amazing. The Lemon Bay is also 5 minutes away with private fishing dock. Kids had a great time fishing. This is a rare find when you het a great house with the pool, and private beach, and fishing dock. Thanks Jim and Judy!!!
