The property was all some and I love joining the beautiful view from the Hot tub. Also, the room has a very nice view.

This house is one of our favorites by far! We have been taking large family trips for 16 years, the hosts were super accommodating! It is a bit rustic, but just perfect. The burners on the stove did not get super high with the gas level which made cooking a little difficult but we just used the grill.

Our group of 15 stayed at Casa Colo to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary. The house gave us plenty of rooms and beds to accommodate all our families. The kids really loved the hot tub. Views from the patio were spectacular. The house itself is rustic and quirky, which added to the fun of the weekend.
Our complaints with the stay were fairly minor: One of the toilets was not flushable when we arrived. Maintenance did arrive to fix it, but did not replace the correct part, so the toilet never ended up being usable for the weekend. Two bathrooms and several towels definitely were not cleaned prior to our arrival, so we took care of that ourselves. There also was someone working on the house for a couple hours after we arrived, which wasn’t really a problem, just made for awkward patio conversation. Our last night, I had a message from the owner telling us it’d make things easier on the cleaners if we planned to leave prior to check out time. I felt that was pretty unprofessional, but chalking it up to someone who hasn’t done this for very long.
Overall we really enjoyed our weekend. The house is spacious and perfect for our large group.

We had a family reunion at the property with 30 people total; 12 adults and 18 children from 4 to 17 yrs. The property was clean and the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great. A very large kitchen and dining area as well as a game room downstairs worked great. Only a couple of negatives. Each room had a TV, which was great, but the internet bandwidth wasn't nearly enough to support a bunch of teenagers with games and TV. Also, there were two hot tubs (great!) but the water wasn't very clean in either and there was no filter, so it got worse quickly. Probably an oversight and easy to fix. There was some confusion on our part as to the operation of the hot tubs as well. We had a great time and would recommend the property to anyone that needs a lot of bedrooms, baths, etc. Beautiful mountain area. A cow moose and her calf wandered into the field behind the house one evening.

We had a nice time at Casa Colo! There was plenty of room for our group of 15 to spread out and enjoy the space. Kitchen was great and had everything we needed for cooking lsrge meals! There are nice upgrades done to a lot of the areas and the kids enjoyed the game room a lot! Its not a perfect home, and could still use some fixes, but worked for us and would stay here again! Thank you for the hospitality!

Stove only one burner working water dripping from ceiling onto the stove got in our food. Had to through out food because of leak.
Bottom oven didn't cook equally, so only was able to use one oven.
Microwave didn't work.
no outlets worked in basement room had to run an extension cord for someone to use C-Sapp Mask.
Hot tub didn't heat up.
Steam room down stairs door would lock and you couldn't get out very dangers.
Pool table had popcorn all over it so wasn't able to use it tried to clean it up.
No recycle by trash cans and not enough trash cans for large group.
Neighbor in the back was noise and called owner on us about noise but we were not loud at 7pm. first full night so that put a bad taste in our mouth right away.
If you are going to rent a place for 30+ people you got to expect some noise but we were even outside and you could not hear us. Owner asked us to to to basement to gather and that was stupid and rude. we had handicap people with us too.
So close the curtains and you will not have an issue.

Proceed with caution
We stayed at this property because it was large enough to house our group all under one roof. We went in with low expectations because we understand large groups = large homes = lots of maintenance and upkeep however nothing could have prepared us for the nightmare of a stay that we experienced. We had several emergent maintenance issues during our stay including a gas leak, leaking refrigerator, leaking pipes, flooded laundry room, mold and electrical issues. Communication with the property team to resolve the problems was spotty. In app messages, phone calls and text messages went unanswered. There is an undisclosed family living in the detached garage - one of whom was responsible for maintenance during our stay. He did his best with what he was working with, however the property was just in disarray. The gas leak was remedied within about an hour or so, I assume the refrigerator was a known problem (which was not disclosed to us upon check in) as an amazon package was delivered with the appropriate part to fix it during our stay, flooded laundry room was not addressed and electrical work took place in the home without notice while everybody was off property. We also dealt with other property issues and nuisances while staying at Casa Colo. We were unaware of the family living on property in the converted garage. They were very standoff-ish and it was just so awkward. There is no AC in the house and no screens on most of the windows. Our group had to go purchase fans to cool down the home as there was only one in house upon arrival. Kitchen utensils and pots/pans were worn and dirty. Toilet seats were cracked, shower handles not attached, the basement bedrooms flood when using the downstairs shower. We had a great vacation, nonetheless, however the property was not up to expectations or even health and safety standards. When calling the property manager and owner to try and rectify the issues we faced, I was hung up on. I purchased a supplemental damage waiver when booking just-in-case and property owner opened fraudulent insurance claim for damages that were present at time of check in.. really a very disappointing way to end a family vacation. It was discovered that reviews for this property on Google appear to be hidden. Absolutely think twice before staying at this property. It has good bones, good space, good location, however it is poorly kempt and poorly managed. It would be wise to stay elsewhere and save yourselves the trouble.

Senior Class Trip
We had a group of 17 stay for almost a week. The house was big enough for everyone to spread out, and enjoy themselves. Having the extra fridge space was nice, and there was plenty of storage in the kitchen. We loved the area, it was a beautiful location and so close to shopping. Would highly recommend!!!

Great house for a ski team
We needed a place to stay with a ski team and this location had everything we needed. The coaches each had a room with its own bathroom. The kitchen was spacious. The game room was fun for the athletes. There were plenty of rooms for the athletes.

Great House for Large Group
This house is great for a large group. Our group of 11 guys stayed here for 4 nights and one of the best benefits of the house was everyone having their own bedroom. The main living space was also plenty of space for our group to hang out and the driveway had plenty of space to accommodate all of our vehicles, which was 6 and easily room for 2-4 more vehicles.

Wonderful!
This place was perfect for our group. We had 27 and had plenty of room and much to do. Comfortable stay and very great contact with the property manager while there. We will be looking to stay there again during our ski trips.

I just love this place, perfect for the whole family. Hot tub, pool table, video games, large TV's in every room. It's beautifully decorated and so comfortable, what a special space.

Best bang for your buck!
We were looking for something spacious and affordable which can be hard to find. This house was PERFECT for what we were looking for. We had a couple questions for the hosts before we booked, and they got back to us very quickly. Home is spacious, everyone had their privacy, and the location was perfect. The kitchen is huge was very helpful for our group. Lots of space for young kids to safely run around. This house exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back!

Very spacious house
This property is well located and very spacious and we enjoyed our stay very much. We had 32 people in the end and used every bed. The house accommodated our large group very well. While our overall stay was good, we found quite a few issues with the house. These included one electrical circuit that was not working so some lights and outlets did not work. The hot tub would trip the breaker before it got hot, One room had some mouse droppings, SOme of the window cranks did not work, there are a very large number of washers and dryers and many did not work but enough did that it was not a problem, there were other small maintenance and general repair issues. The teens and pre-teen loved the video game machine and all the old games on it. The pool table was a hit as well. We never felt crowded even with so many people. If you can ignore some small issues this is a fun place for a large group.

Didn't disclose some information
This house left much to be desired. My main complaint was the lack of communication about the state of the house before we got there. There were definitely some safety issues. When we arrived we were greeted with an enormous camper in the driveway filled with construction materials. The door to the camper was unlocked and anyone could have wandered in. There were power tools plugged in and just left out for anyone to touch. There was a large pit to one side of the house that was very insufficiently blocked by a door and a piece of iron fence leaning against the house and shed. I am very disappointed that this information was not disclosed to us before we arrived.
Other than the safety issues, we did have some other complaints. There were signs throughout the house asking us to dispose of our trash in the outside bin to protect from bears getting it. The trash bin was completely packed with garbage by the time we arrived and we had to wait until Wednesday for it to be emptied. One of the toilets downstairs overflowed while we were there and was never sufficiently fixed. The freezer upstairs didn't work great.
All in all, these owners should take care of some major issues before they allow anyone else to stay at this property.

Enjoyed our stay.
We were a large group with several children. There was a lot about this house that we loved – 11 bedrooms! 8 bathrooms! A double oven. Two full-size refrigerators. A big table and lots of bar stools for mealtime seating. Plenty of pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, mugs. A nice hot tub that was at just the right temperature. Enough room for parking vehicles. Easy to get to. Close to a grocery store. The kids loved the arcade game in the lower level. Wifi. A mountain view. Lots of tv’s. We saw a black bear walking down the road!!!!
And there were some things that were less than ideal – several outdoor construction projects that were incomplete with tools, nails, glass panes, etc. laying around as well as a pretty deep open pit, so very close supervision of kids was required (we were notified of the open pit the day before we arrived). Charging extra if a duvet cover needed to be washed. Multiple washers and dryers but only one each that seemed to work. Not enough spoons or forks for the size group the house can accommodate (plenty of knives!) Pretty firm mattresses (which we loved but weren’t a favorite of some of our group)
The house met our needs very well and we had a great time. Aside from a little TLC needed, especially on the grounds, it’s a nice house and we will highly consider coming back in the future.

Review of Colo Case
The house is in need of repair on the interior and exterior; there was a motor home sitting out front and a small building in the process of being built. It appears the motor home is the work base. Most of the stove burners did not work and it was difficult to tell when one was in the off position so we had to be very cautious using the stove; the stove vent did not work. Water leaked in the kitchen ceiling and ran down on people in the kitchen preparing food; the ceiling obviously has been wet many times. Most of the Tv's did not work; thankfully my adult children brought firesticks along and were able to get some to work after a great deal of effort and changing batteries in remotes. We were locked out of the upstairs patio but there was no communication from owner about not using it. There is a leak under the kitchen sink. The fridge sprayed water all over an adult upon opening the door. My electrician son stated the condenser has an issue which caused the drain line to be blocked. All in all, we enjoyed the location; most of the beds and bathrooms were fine. The overall impression from my family is that too many things are "just not quite right".

Enjoyed the Stay
It was a great experience. Plenty of space for all the family. Kitchen was big and spicy for many of us to make meals 😍
Kids enjoyed sleeping in the bunk beds. View was beautiful and jacuzzi was nice.
Just wish we could have done some bonfires.

Amazing!!!
Brittany’s property was perfect for our weekend. Our plans had to change at the last minute (our resort in a Glenwood was evacuated due to the fires) and I had friends coming in fromBout of state. This property fit our needs and was available so we reserved and we could not have been more impressed. There were more than enough beds and common space to accommodate us. The kitchen is perfect and well stocked and the outside was just as stunning.

Nice Vacation
We visited this property with the intention of skiing. The resorts closed the day we got there. This house was so great that we stayed 3 nights anyway. Loved the location. The space was awesome for all 22 of us. The owners were easy to work with. I reccomend this property!

Lots of room, but needs maintenance
Pros: The house was a great size for our group of 19, two of which were under 2 years old. We enjoyed that the babies’ room was on the main floor, so they did not have to go up and down stairs throughout our stay. It was also nice to be close to Safeway with a pharmacy and an urgent doc since the babies were sick and needed antibiotics. The heat lamps in the bathrooms were nice as well.
Cons: There seems to be missing some basic kitchen ware: a large non-stick skillet for scrambled eggs, measuring spoons and cups, and gallon drink containers, but there was a griddle and crockpot. Several plugs did not work down stairs or lights and the pool table was in bad shape. The refrigerator stopped cooling, but after my husband cleaned the vent it seemed to work fine. A member of our family was burned when he took a shower and someone upstairs flushed the toilet. We ran out of hot water several times. Also, the oven racks do not fit well to the point that they would fall down.

are serious safety issues and are general grievances
While we did enjoy the generous space at Colo House, there are several comments and grievances that we feel obliged to point out for reasons of safety and conformity to the rental contract and advertisement to the place.
These are serious safety issues:
1. Ceiling in the basement is caving
2. Electrical panel in laundry room is exposed and open with cover on the floor
3. Clean towels are thrown on shelves amongst cleaning supplies and construction materials
4. There is an unfinished walk out in room #9 in the basement that constitutes an easy beak in risk.
5. Room #11: toilet is loose and tumbles when used.
6. The common bathroom in basement has a toilet that is cracked.
7. Hot tub was filthy and not maintained.
These are general grievances:
1. When we arrived, the TVs were not working. After a few hours of trying, only two plugged-in worked, while the streaming ones never did.
2. A few toilet paper holders were loose and some were missing
3. Lack of basic toiletries needs: missing tissues, body/shower soap, shampoo.
4. No sponge in the kitchen, no extra paper towels.
5. Pots, pans and cookie sheets were greasy and dirty.
6. Shower heads in some bathrooms pointing the wrong direction (notably in room #11)
7. Some rooms, for example rooms 7 & 8, doesn’t have closets or any storage for clothes.
8. Room 9 has no heating and could not be used.
As a consequence of not feeling completely comfortable, our group decided to leave a day early.
After considering all these issues, we all agree that the paramount problem was a complete lack of effective communication, and the fact that there was no manager close by. We talked with William on the phone, but he was out of the country and the quality of the call was very poor.
All these points illustrate breach of contract and points out false advertisement that prevent us from writing a positive review on VRBO. It remains in your discretion to compensate us.

Great big house
Big house with lots of bedrooms great for our family get-together! Plenty of room and beds for everyone. Hot tub was in good working order the first weekend in November and the view off the deck is outstanding. Communication with owners was easy. We had an issue with a shower leaking and called the owners and Will came right away to check it out. Although we couldn't use the shower the rest of our stay it was good to know that they heard us. House needs some minor Maintenance but over was perfect for our needs. Thank you!

Our large family group loved this property and many stated that they wanted to come back. The location is beautiful and the home is large and comfortable. Brittany was a pleasure to work with as well, and definitely made the stay even better.

Family vacation July 2019
Our family picks a destination to vacation at each year. There are usually 15+ family members. This house had plenty of room, bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was in a beautiful location with easy access to the highway to Fraser and the Rocky Mountain National Park. The back deck was a pleasant place to sit and visit. The house has no ceiling fans, or fans at all, so at times it was warm in the house, even with the windows open. I like having a fan on at night. Also, the top oven would not stay at 350 degrees, it would drop to 240 and stay there. We had one problem with a bathroom, but after calling the owner, the problem was taken care of promptly. Their handyman was a friendly guy who kept us informed of his actions. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Wow, just wow.
This property has everything. We particularly loved the back porch in the late summer evening. Bring your binoculars; there an incredible diversity of birds flying over.

Great for large group
The house worked well for our large family. Open space around for volleyball and badminton nets. The house is a work in progress and there is a lot of trash and debris laying around the exterior that needs attention. The owners are very nice and accommodating.

We were thrilled with our stay at Casa Colo! The house was well equipped and so homey. 5 stars!!
Traveling with a large family can be difficult when looking for a place to rent. Casa Colo was a perfect fit! Communication with Brittany was always met with a quick response, the house was warm and inviting, the location just a short drive to the slopes, and there was a great area for the kids to play outside in the snow! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Brittany and William for your hospitality!

Steam Room!! Surprising sound quality
I was nervous about having the whole family in the same house, but we couldnt hear each other between the rooms. Nice views and a good distance from the neighbors. Felt at ease and at home the moment we walked in!!

Better than we expected.
Only recommendation I have is that pictures should be updated to show the owners improvements. Close to town, but far enough away to be quiet and private. Relaxed in the hot tub after hiking.

It was in a great location with great views.
They are working on the property but it not interfer with the excellent accomadations for a group of 19 family members. We will rent this property next year. The only problem we had was with the hottubs filter needing to be cleaned out.

Really great for a big group of families
We had a group of 11 families and the house is so well set-up to accommodate that large of a group. Never once did anyone have to wait for a bathroom, the water was always hot and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The kitchen has just about everything you could need, and there are even two balconies!
