THE DISTRICT
In the area facing the Politecnico's University, between 1903 and 1937 were drawn three new large avenues : Corso Duca d'Aosta, Corso Trento e Corso Trieste. It was realized a prestigious residential area, which includes elegant buildings designed by leading protagonists of architectural's period, such as Pietro Fenoglio and Giuseppe Momo and characterized by styles as neo-Gothic and, above all, Liberty.
This area, enclosed in Corso Einaudi, Corso Duca degli Abruzzi, Corso Montevecchio and Corso Galileo Ferraris, was later made pedestrian by August 9th, 1974.
The Liberty Turin's style, mixed with the eclectic one of the first half of the twentieth century, was so fashionable that not only was applied to the buildings in front of the University, but in many other buildings in the neighborhood.
The western entrance of that pedestrian area right outside the entrance of the Politecnico University is dominated by Duca d'Aosta's square, otherwise known as "Piazzetta del Fante", because of the statue dedicated to the "Fante d 'Italy', a bronze work of Angelo Balzardi, erected for the centenary of the Unification of Italy (1961).
Via Cantore overlooks this elegant square, where you can enjoy a good Italian Espresso Coffee or grab a snack at the "Historical" University kiosk.
Immersed in the green pedestrian area of Crocetta's, the location could not be better: The Subway station is just minutes from home: in a few stops you can get Porta Nuova and Porta Susa Train Stations.
There are also several bus a few steps from the house, making it extremely easy getting almost anywhere in a minute.
Crocetta's District, notoriously one of the most Turin's elegant is home of a well known street market, famous for its Garments' shopping.
You can also find many shops, groceries, supermarkets, bars and restaurants for all budgets.

Great property with a helpful property manager, Marco. The apartment has potential for updates. Prompt TV replacement by Marco was appreciated.

Marco replaced TV same day when it seemed to quit, very nice, appreciated attention. Apartment may need an update, has so much potential, kept redesigning it in my head.

Great property!
Overall a great property! Great location, secure and great property manager. (Marco) That said, had challenges due to excessive construction noise in the apartment above. Was fairly compensated, but for the future need to notified ahead of time!

Sehr gute Unterkunft in zentraler Lage.
