There was a water leak in this condo and we had to be moved. So we didn’t stay there. Vacasa was good about accommodating us. Loved the condo they put us in but there is an issue between The Mountainside Resort and Vacasa with giving out the combo to the pool. That should be worked out.

Nice place, but very outdated & need to have many improvements.

Very accommodating less kitchenware basics. May need to eat out but great choices nearby!

Solid spot… didn’t have a lot of basics like salt/pepper paper towels but overall a good location and a fair price. Would stay again

Winter break 2 adults with 5 teenagers. The condo was very clean with plenty of room. My husband and I took the master bedroom downstairs and the rest of the family stayed upstairs, which was like they had there own apartment. The furniture could be updated, ramdom chairs in the livingroom one chair was broken falling apart. Both fireplaces not working. I had seen a review from back in January 2024. Which stated that the fireplaces were not working. I called Vaccasa the managing company a few days before our stay to make sure they could service the fireplaces, they told me that looking at the most recent review and that they had not complained about the fireplaces that would mean they are fine. Guess what still broken! The pool and jacuzzi were great. Pool was heated and after a long day sking the jacuzzi was perfect. Close to evertthing, Stowe village, sking.

Great location just minutes from Stowe ski mountain resort and tons of local shops! Kids loved the pool and hot tub.

Location was great. Rental was clean, provided basic things such as dish detergent, sponge, trash bags, etc which was nice. Plenty of towels, pillows, etc. Pull out couch not comfortable, could use some updated furniture, however it reflects the photos on the listing. Shuttle pick up location to Stowe mountain not very convenient, we ended up driving each day. Fireplaces are not functioning, washer/dryer smelled a little. Overall good experience, would stay here again.

last minute trip to take my adult children skiing. Location was great, short drive to resort. Listing was accurate. Bummer that the fireplace was out of commission, but not the end of the world. Great place and already thinking of next year.

Location of this stay is very good, very near to the town and restaurants. This is like a condo type rental home and worth for what you pay!! Response was immediate for any questions. This is the first time I have used Vacasa rental and I’m satisfied

Layout with the upstairs and downstairs areas works well for our family. Toaster noted in March review is still broke, some of the blinds still don't close and the upstairs couch that was noted as having a broke arm has disappeared, leaving only a loveseat and a couple chairs upstairs to seat six people. A little bit of work and attention to the details would go a long way to making this a great spot.

Very spacious . Only complaint was that we could not get into pool area - no code provided and office was not open very often during the weekend

This place is a great location. The problem was the property management. As of April 1st, Mountainside now owns the property but ownership transferred in the middle of the stay. Reached out on 6 separate occasions to talk to someone, anyone at Vacasa but when they responded it was 15 hours later or to tell me a technician is going to show up for the dryer, but never shows. I will never stay at another Vacasa location.
As for the unit, good location. A dated unit, but you know what you get before you get there. Pool and hot tub were 50 feet away. Also a gym and laundry. Change machine in the gym in case you need it. 45 seconds from restaurants/bars and 10 minutes to the parking lot at the mountain. Fireplace isn’t working, dryer isn’t working, and there are no check out instructions at the house to tell you what to do with the compost, recycling, or trash. The downstairs is strangely warmer than the upstairs. Ample parking last week of March. There was also a water issue where you had to boil all water. Strange no one else knew of a water issue so it just must be the neighborhood. Closest grocery store is about 10 minutes away and worth going to if you are going to be there for a couple days. Great coffee shop at the end of the neighborhood too.

Was close to stowe, close to restaurants and shops in town and clean nice place to stay!

The location of the condo was great - close to the ski resort and easy to get to. The pool and hot tub were a hit for the kids. The condo is definitely used and rented a lot. It’s outdated and could use some new furnishings. The couch had a broken arm. The bathtub in the Queen bedroom was clogged - so we had to purchase drano to fix. The burners on the stove didn’t all work - my husband fixed those so we could use. We found dirty dishes/pots/pans in the cabinets. We loved Vermont and plan to return though!

The property was described as "dated" in the listing but when we arrived the actual appearance of the of the unit was below our expectations. For starters, the fireplaces that were shown on the listing were not working, there were signs taped on both FPs that stated Do Not Use. The laundry room did not have a functioning light so we had to use a spare lamp to light up the room. The exterior lights near the entrance did not turn on so it was challenging coming in the evening. Both of these issues could have been addressed with new bulbs. The shower in the top bedroom drained slowly so there was about 3" of water when you finished showering, probably could have been fixed with Drano. The toaster, not a toaster oven, was missing the button to press down so you couldn't toast bread. The blinds throughout the unit were old and discolored, and in some rooms a few strips were missing so you had limited privacy. Several lamp shades throughout the unit were damaged or stained. One of the arm rests on the couch was broken/missing. Most of these issues could have been addressed for a minimal amount of money and could have made this experience more positive. I have previously stayed at Mountainside Resort so I knew what to expect from amenities, unit layout, and location. But this unit/ownership was definitely mis-managed. Not what I was expecting for a holiday weekend with the family.

2.5 rating. Not quite clean enough and many broken blinds, crack in kitchen wall, unusable shower it’s clogged. Needs desperate updating

We rented the property in hopes of skiing. The extreme arctic temps kept us inside one of the days. The property is listed with having 2 fireplaces, both of which were out of order which was extremely unfortunate.
The kitchen sink backed up when we ran the dishwasher. We did not contact the management company as we were leaving. Two of the electric burners on the range were not working.
The bath towels provided were extremely cheap.
Mattress in the queen bedroom was extremely old, with a huge sag in the middle.
Would not stay here again

No frills, clean, close to the mountain and walking distance to several breweries, restaurants and bars. Hot tub was a bonus

Mountainside Resorts was well
Located and convenient for all activities. Quiet and clean unit. Just needs to be updated with new window treatments and replace some ripped lamp shades.

It was a nice location with plenty of room for my family. However it was very outdated and disappointing. Kitchen was very dated with a broken drawer. Dishwasher had an out of order sign on it. Blinds throughout the unit were broken in spots and had stains splattered on them. Mattress on king size bed was old and uncomfortable. Community pool had dark mildew on the sides. We would not stay here again.

Our unit was as described and seen on photos. We had a 3 bedroom unit and there was plenty of space for 8 of us. The unit was very clean and everything worked except the heat. Both fireplaces had signs saying they were not working and the heat did not work at all on either floor. The management team was super responsive and brought in 6 space heaters which helped a lot. My only other concern was the state of the hot tub. The water was literally brown and you could not see past 6" in the water. We've travelled a lot and have been to many ski condos with hot tubs and this one wins the award for nastiest hot tub. The swimming pool and pool area were nice and clean but they did run out of towels which required a trip back to the condo. When I mentioned these concerns to the management team they were very apologetic and gave me a refund for 1 night.

The unit was very convenient to all activities, well laid out for our purposes with an adequately equipped kitchen. It was uncharacteristically hot in Stowe (high 80's for several days) and many of the windows did not open because they were broken. The weather stripping on the main door was falling off, as was the weather stripping on the sliding door on the deck, a kitchen drawer was broken making it hard to open, and one of the toilets was wired and had to be operated by hand. The beds were comfortable, great water pressure and lots of hot water for the shower and the washer, dryer and dish washer were great features to have in house. Some general maintenance would be a sound investment. We would likely stay there again if the occasion would arise.

It was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 5! Huge master, living room, and laundry on the bottom floor. Then another living room and everything else on the top floor. It's right next to the indoor pool, which is very convenient for kiddos. The reasons I didn't give it a 5, were the vertical fabric blinds don't work well and look pretty gross in more than one room. The sliding door at the balcony doesn't have a way to lock. It's not broken, there is just no lock. A bit of an uneasy feeling, even if it is a second floor door.

Area was great. The place was definitely outdated but it worked fine for what we needed.
We called a day ahead to add 1 day to our stay- property manager said everything was fine and ready but never sent the check in instructions. We arrived late in the evening with no way to access the place- they worked it out but took quite a while.
Also- better communication is needed somewhere on pool hours and how/ when you can access the pool.

Great trip to Sugarloaf
We had 3 couples that stayed at this property. It was huge with 2 living spaces, which was great for spreading out ski stuff. The place was clean, although very dated, like 1980's. It really could use some updates, like there was a cabinet falling apart, some of the pictures were crooked, and there were dried flowers that also look like they were from 1987. The water pressure in the master bath was non-existent, which made my post-ski shower very quick and cold. It is close to the mountain though, and we were able to take the shuttle and walk to one of the restaurants for dinner, so location is great.

Great location and very spacious!
This place was perfect for our 6 at (3 couples) stay. The rooms are huge (besides the 2 twin bed room but even that had plenty of space) loved having 3 bathrooms. Centrally located to a lot of great bars and restaurants and a quick ride to the base Stowe mountain

Family skiing getaway
The condo was very clean and spacious. Our family of five had plenty of room! I would say that it could use some updating and the master bathroom shower really didn’t get hot enough. The location was very convenient to the mountain and Stowe town center.

Large and clean unit
This unit is large, clean, and quiet. It has everything we need. We had to fix the screen door to the deck because it was not working when we checked in. The kitchen cabinets are old but functional. I suggest bringing your own cutting knives because the ones in this unit are not sharp and can't be used to cut anything. Three full bathrooms are very convenient. The water pressure in the bathroom is a bit low.
