It was everything I was looking for and comfortable. I liked that it was clean and not far from everything we had planned to do.

The spacious house is currently undergoing some renovations. It is in a nice neighborhood with easy access to the Highway and downtown. The bedrooms were spacious but the beds were very u comfortable. The 2.5 bathrooms featured only one shower so if you have a good size crown of adults it could be a challenge. The mid-level just couldn’t get cool enough as the weather heated up. There is road noise and residence noise during the night. The property manager was extremely easy to work with.

This house had great character in a fun neighborhood but most importantly, the location was amazing. It was close to everything.

Had a gathering of 6 total individuals for 4 days to enjoy some of the great distilleries in the Louisville area and attend the PGA Championship. This house was in a perfect location to get to everywhere we wanted to be within 30 minutes (Valhalla golf course, Bardstown, and just minutes from Whiskey Row). The house was exactly as described, older but with a lot of renovations and charm. The rooms and beds were cozy, the bathrooms were clean and large, and the screened in back porch for the fenced back yard made for great late night relaxing and conversation. Only one hiccup occurred for the wifi being down, but the owner and the management team were extrememly quick to respond and got everything up and running quickly. Fantastic property to stay at and will most definitely return the next time we have a large group staying in the Louisville area!

We loved the location and the house had so many beautiful architecture niches. We walked around the adjoining neighborhood and saw some pretty amazing houses. It was close enough to downtown and other places we went too. It was s fun trip for the weekend.

Love home couldn't get a hold of host with problems with the house.

Three guys coming in for a bourbon tasting weekend. The house was immaculate, if a bit dated. Fredie was the consummate host. Great instructions and procedures. The house is in ‘Victoria Louisville’ and is within a couple of miles a bunch of distilleries and these cool converted industrial spaces with several food stands and bars in them. Also, a couple of miles from the higher end restaurants in Louisville. Highly recommend.

Over all the house was great and spacious. Loved the old charm and character of this house! Really glad the table was large for dining allowing all of us to be together. Kitchen was stocked nicely with your standard spices and some extras. Backyard could have a little cleanup!

They had the property as clean as possible with a house of this age! The carpets are stained and look old. The beds are clean and the bedding is comfortable. The beds are comfortable as well. The hot water was great for all 5 showers in the morning. The location is loud on a semi busy street! Kitchen is well stocked with all you need for dishes and glassware.

I am a speech and debate teacher who was lucky enough to qualify 9 kids to attend the national tournament in 2022, which was held in Louisville. Our team has to complete multiple fundraisers each year to be able to attend things like this, so saving money on this trip was paramount. Renting this property and having a kitchen saved our team a LOT of money we would have otherwise spent on hotels and restaurants; plus, the location was central enough to conveniently reach every competition venue scattered across town.
The one and only flaw in our stay is that we were a bit unlucky that the week we were there, Louisville was having a huge heat wave. The first and third floors were always comfortable temperatures, but the second floor got very hot. That said, there were plenty of fans to keep us cool, and multiple air mattresses available for people to set up on other floors if they couldn't take the heat.
Communication with the owner was prompt and thorough. Because we reserved the week with our school card, he could have not bothered to be flexible, but instead was very gracious and accommodating when certain parts of our booking process got delayed.
I absolutely recommend staying here. It is central, reasonably priced, and easy to communicate with the owner. My students had a great time and learned so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you for hosting us!

The place was absolutely fantastic. Stayed here with 12 guys and it was just enough room. May have needed one more air mattress. Beautiful location beautiful house it seemed like everything was just 10 minutes away.

I rented this property for a bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! The bride loved the Victorian style home. The owner sent me recommendations for food close by which was very helpful. We loved the burger joint down the street (walking distance). PLENTY of room for the 10 girls who stayed as well as parking. I was a little nervous about this since it was on the weekend but we didn't have a single problem. Highly recommend! Thank you for letting us rent your property.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It’s within 10 minutes of the state expo center which was our reason for being there. Lots of room for our group and a nice kitchen to cook up dinner. Freddie was also very helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable.

Poor neighborhood, mouse left droppings and eaten wrapper, windows unclean, cobwebs, just streaming TV which was published but proved awkward, hole in outdoor screen door. Not recommended for families. Other things I could mention but can’t be bothered. Would have moved immediately if it wasn’t for myself and another seasoned traveler. Sorry for the neutral review but thought you should know.

I hosted 10 people for a weekend-long bachelorette and it was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have some privacy and the common areas were spacious enough for us to hang out together for meals, games, etc. We were concerned about only having one shower, but with a little forethought about when we'd all use it there were no issues and we never ran out of hot water! :) Our only wish was for more comfy seating in the living room for when we wanted to watch TV/movies together (but the dining room chairs could be moved into that room easily enough). There was plenty of parking close by and Old Lou is a great location if you want to be central to several Louisville hot spots. Thanks for the great stay, Fredie!

Me and my family had a great time here. The owner was a wonderful communicator. We would definitely stay again.

Great house plenty of rooms, we had an issue with the upstairs ac unit not working the first night but the owner was able to quickly fix it.
As well there was no fusball table on the outdoor patio which we were really looking forward to play with.
Overall the house had everything we needed for our trip. Just maybe need to update some photos!

This very much reminded us of the house we lived in when we lived in St. Louis so our adult children were absolutely thrilled!
Our only problem was the dish washer was not working, but as a property owner myself, I know that that sort of thing can happen. We had a great time!

Great stay, house had lots of oversized bedrooms that gave us a lot of space. Not much immediately around the house but close to the highway to get to/from destinations.

We rented this house to share with our friends to celebrate birthdays and the Derby. It was a location for the things we had planned. The owner was very kind, communicated well and even had some “happies” at the house when we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

Beautiful home super close to everything in Louisville. An 8 minute Uber ride to just about everything. Plenty of beds and space to spread out, and large dining room table to gather. Love these old houses with beautiful architecture. Beds, kitchen, and bathrooms were very clean. Lots of cobwebs in the corners however.
